Its the supervisors that tend to dislike me, the CSAs look to me for advice and such because they know I spend alot of time learning about the company and the way it operates. The Supervisors and above dislike me because I dont care what they think and if I feel something is wrong I'll make sure I bring it up repeatedly until somethings done about it - starting with supervisors and working my way up. Seriously though.. 8 years and still pissed?
You should go work for one of our rivals and see how it feels to really be nothing but a number! We're not the best paid staff in the industry, everyone knows that but I'd say we're pretty much some of the best treated - You just need to get a wider prospective.

The fact Somerfield withdrew themselves from an ethical trading agreement says a lot. Also there is now way to progress internally as they seem to just employ random people to be managers.. Who then require training and normally end up being total dicks. If your happy working there I don't think you can consider yourself sane!

I work in the Sittingbourne branch of Somerfield, and would like to point out that not all Staff behave like the idiots shown in this video (thankfully no chavs are employed in our particular branch).
