  • Have you guys seen shit crossfitters say?

  • is it possible to gain muscles with crossfit like bodybuilders do?

  • I Crossfit and it's not about getting big it's about being fit it's amazing what Crossfit does to you they combine powerlifting and a lot of cardio, pushups, pullups, sit ups are just some of what they do they don't go for strongest on earth they go for The Fittest on Earth and they are the Fittest on Earth

  • Everyone knows all of the beautiful and fit women do Crossfit. See you there ;)

  • @Hittaenkontakt Ooh lookout - the e-courage is running rampant. Another tough guy hiding behind a computer screen...

  • crossfit is for fags...

why do they have to give it some stupid name

i like to call it working out personally....

    or bodybuilding

  • @kramer911 Calling it bodybuilding would be wrong. Bodybuilding is looking strong without actually be strong. The muscles mobybuilders have are filled with liquid, these guys train for strenght, not looks.

  • @sconnection are u retarded?

  • @kramer911 If I were retarded I would think these guys did bodybuilding. Bodybuilding, Powerlifting, Strongman, CrossFit, they are all different types of weightlifting, with different goals.

  • @sconnection So wrong, first of about Bodybuilders. Rony Coleman is stronger than any Crossfit athlete in the world, could he do these workouts? No ofcourse not, he doesn't train for that and he is plainly to heavy. Every sport requires dedication and discipline to succeed, and ofcourse a powerlifter will be stronger, a weightlifter can do the olympic lifts the heaviest and the bodybuilder will look the biggest. A Crossfitter combines these things plus some extra. Their ain't no best, respectall

  • @Maxiimaall1 Where did I say that crossfitters were better than any other ? You act like I disrespect any type of weightlifting. But I do not. I respect them all. Even if I don`t underrstand some. But those will not understand my view.

  • If I've been doing Insanity for 8 months would I be able to hang in a crossfit workout?

  • I didn't see at least a 5 mile run anywhere....weak sauce

  • this is too hardcore, I'm sure I just saw some blood running down a guys chest

  • Great way to achieve optimum well rounded fitness. Each workout builds endurance, strength and agility. I love the idea. Sure it has cons. Completing complex lifts while being completely exhausted; you will get injuries. But the athletes accept that and push on. I like how people say that crossfitters take up gym equipment. Haha At least they are using the equipment the whole time and not talking about using it.

If I didn't have a good career I'd move my equipment out of my basement and open a

  • I like the look of crossfit work outs but I find the sort of semi cultish love some people have for a work out routine off putting. I dont do that much working out but when I do its to get good at a sport or enjoiy life more not so I wank over how awesome I am at working out.

  • I can't wait until someone dies during a CrossFit workout and they finally get shut down.

Don't say it's not going to happen. Someone's going to slip a disk or drop weights on their face/ribs and cause internal bleeding because these "coaches" have had littler than a month of training and have no idea how to teach power cleans and snatches.

And please CrossFitters, keep calling me a hater. It just further proves your ignorance and inability to comprehend an acceptable workout routine.

  • @RandomStevie Na your not a hater, your an idiot...but close enough.

Anytime you care to try on the open and take your shot at $250,000 come on ahead, but I'm sure thats not enough money for you to put your skills to the test, you'd rather shout insults from behind a monitor. Typical...

  • all haters on this video would not survive 1 crossfit workout so they can stfu.?

  • what is this music under the video?

  • Strongman is still the ultimate sport.

  • @matthewhbs Try just one WOD...

  • @xXBARDMANXx <<<<<<<<<< Moron

  • @gmhippie totally right, who the hell wants functional fitness, lets just focus on trying to look pretty for the other boys in the weights room...

  • I love how people are bagging on these guys being shit... When they all look ten times more ripped than the naysayers EVER will with their cute little Muscle n' Fitness cable curls. You go have fun with those.

  • @xXBARDMANXx Oh my god you are such a pussy. Is this all you do all day? Go around and bitch about crossfit? I bet you're like 5'6'' 120 lbs lol.

  • this looks like fun

  • all you who hate - just do your own thing - i understand you can not hang - but dont b bitter

  • 3:10 the guy on the left shakin hands with himself..

  • "If you come to us with a four-minute mile, six months into it you are going to be 30 seconds slower but a whole hell of a lot fitter. Similarly, if you come to us with a 900-pound squat, in six months it's going to be 750 pounds, but you, too, will be much fitter."- Greg Glassman (founder of CrossFit). This is why I hate crossfit, it's stupid as hell. It's legit fot girls though!

  • @thewhitezombie666 It's not designed to improve you at a specific sport, if that's your goal then train for that sport, it's designed to give you well rounded fitness so that you can run a six minute mile and squat 750 pounds rather than a 4 minute mile or 900 pounds. Rounded fitness is much more useful to people in the military or law enforcement etc but not as the basis of training for a specific sport.

  • The concept is good but the sacrifice of form over reps can lead to injury but overall cross fit workouts blow away trad gym workouts just be aware of repetitive use injuries.

  • And also its different workouts everyday and you don't get bored with it as you would going to the gym

  • I'm like a month r two into crossfit, I used to lift weights and go to the gym but I wasn't in shape, yea I was big but had no endurance.I really see a difference with crossfit.and also I've done crossfit b4 just starting it again

  • 2:08 he is used to liquid flowing in his mouth. dumb cum guzzler.

  • THE MUSIC IS HORRIBLE, BUT COOL VIDEO

  • @boblafro

Exclusively kipping your pullups will definitely impact your dead hang in a negative way. It's just that 'kippers' as you put it tend to also be good at DHPU (this being a generalization)

Crossfit has some definite brilliance to it, but almost all the top Crossfit games athletes were already good coming in to the mix. You can not get to that point exlcusively with mainsite WODs as your only training.

  • I like the idea of the "all rounder" crossfit promotes. The technique for the weightlifting event, however, needs to be refined. If olympic-style weightlifting is the the ultimate test of human strength with a barbell, then crossfitters should stick to the prevailing international standard. The event is then not only a more objective test of explosive power and strength, but is also safer. Also, why are they doing multiple reps of a submaximal weight? The weights should show max strength right?

  • @MeinRhein1 CrossFit contends that a healthy, fit person requires proficiency in each of ten general physical skills: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy (wikipedia).

Hence, it makes not sense for crossfitters to stick to the IS...

  • @ebateru Proficiency in the ten areas is def. a noble goal. My original comment wanted to draw attention to the technique used in the O-lifts. First, most of the lifts I saw here would not be considered valid by any OL-lifter. Second, max power is best demonstrated w/ 1 rp. Also, don't take this the wrong way, but I've seen 14 year old OL-ers C&J 110 kg and 200+ by20. How? Hard training + proper technique! Not possible if they had lifted like in this vid - they would have been injured long ago

  • These people must have incredible insurance policies...because i see so much terrible form its not even funny...

  • 60 kg clean? WOW.... ¬¬

  • Comment removed

  • @NickC1973 If they were obsessed about big muscles they'd be at the gym pumping iron shirtless looking in the mirror and drinking muscle juice. I've been to traditional gyms and I've never seen people roll on the ground due to genuine muscle pains and exhaustion. What I see is the cast of 300, not Pumping Iron!

  • all I can say is I've been cross training in various forms for 2 decades as a martial artist, and these workouts, by way way far in comparison to any other form of training, have been absolutely beneficial when looking to add or strengthen common abilities. I do other things in addition to this, and I dont try jerking 500 opunds off the ground very often, but the Crossfit workouts in general are really great to add to a diverse core of abilities.

  • Am i supposed to be impressed by a 60 kg snatch?

  • I dont get it cross fit is just doing all kinds of crazy shit?

  • @danallan2 Are you really going to call that out the "Crossfitters" dudes shaving their body hair? Think of every other sport where dude's shave their body hair, its not uncommon. Think things through please, it will help you go a long way in life.

  • The comments on this video reek of crossfit envy... lol the couch potatoes are out in force as always... Those that can't get off their asses long enough to do anything other than get their pizza out of the microwave and their dr. pepper out of the fridge... good luck sucking at life ;)

  • @gsxrram no envy here, just see how detrimental this program is , unfortunately Greg Glassman targeted a bunch of insecure people who blindly follow fads, so they never really understand how affected by CF they are until they tear their acl or get a shoulder impingement. Terrible running mechanics, weak hips, SLAP tears, poor Jumping mechanics, stiff slow moving guys with bad backs, but hey they're buff right? Unfortunately Glassman is poorly educated at best, and cant even rehab himself.

  • @gsxrram Amen Brother!

  • @gsxrram Haters,

Please keep complaining. Bitch about Coach Glassman, bitch about the kipping pull-up and that someone else is loving CrossFit! If it weren’t for all your bithing we would take CF for granted. We would fail to appreciate this community of folks who make this world a better place through CrossFit.

So, haters, take care of yourselves. We’ve got a long road ahead. CrossFit isn’t dying it’s exploding! So we need you guys to remind us of who we don’t want to be.

  • @gmhippie Please keep going to your overpriced gym so that you stay the hell out of mine. Please keep paying for workouts that have been around since the dawn of time but now have a pretty brandname on them. If you can't think for yourself CrossFit is great, enjoy your workout puppet.

  • @xXxMrMysteryxXx <<< Moron, I gladly stay out of your gym! No shit the exercises have been around for ever, they are the ones that work. If your so bad hit the crossfit open, I'll put up $100 you can't even make the regionals. But I'm sure $250,000 isnt worth your time...PLEASE....keep up the hate, we love haters, they keeps us motivated cause we dont wanna end up like you guys. Have a great day.

  • @gmhippie The guys that win those things were great athletes before they ever heard the word "CrossFit". You think they got that way from CrossFit? Hah, please...

    Jason Khalipa - Power Lifter

    Chris Spealer - Wrestler

Josh Everett - Track and field and weightlifting

    Rob Orlando - Strong man

Yes the top CrossFitters are fitter than I am but not because they do CrossFit. Wake up. Wanna be elite? Do gymnastics, MMA, or BBoying.

  • @xXxMrMysteryxXx Your right , they were all great at something, now their great at everything, Thanks Crossfit!

  • @gmhippie Idiot. Enjoy your workouts puppet. Also it's "you're" when you want to say "you are" as in: you're fucking stupid.

  • @xXxMrMysteryxXx Thanks, I will continue the workouts! Sorry bout the speelinngg. didn't realise we where have a conversation about grammmerrr....Funny, you can tell when someone is losing an argument by what they talk about. Love it.

    Peace Hater,

    The Puppet

  • @gmhippie You certainly can tell when someone is losing an argument, you must be used to that since you have the debate skills of a 12 year old. When you said they were all great at something but now they're great at everything did you mean to say "they couldn't quite cut it in their sport of choice so they had to take it down a notch and play crossfit"? Because that would be much more accurate.

  • @xXxMrMysteryxXx Are you really that nieve? You think anyone from the UFC...pick a weight class...would win the Crossfit games? Pick any colleget champion you want any size guy or gal from any school any sport you wish....you think they will win.....NOT. Pick the last world champion strongman...oopps not a chance.....FAIL. I guess none of the above mention groups of people need $250,000.........Your still an idiot.

  • @gmhippie You brought grammar into the conversation when you told Mr Mystery, "Your an idiot". lol

  • @gsxrram well said ! CrossFit moulds couch potatoes into athletes

  • @gsxrram Most of the people drawn to Crossfit are the chubby guys you've seen on the treadmill in the gym. They've since discovered the squat rack and perfected imitation pull ups and they think they're bad ass. Let's see how long they last. Most will be out with an injury within one year, brought about by over usage or improper form. Exercise is not a sport, it's a means to improve at your sport.

  • @gsxrram Lol fuck you, the problem with crossfit is the risk of injury, but sure, I'm lazy, I only work out 8 times per week, must be in my head right?

  • @gsxrram ajaj yeep

  • @danallan2 Douchebag - 300 lb couch potato jealous of what he saw?

  • @boblafro actually (weight x distance) / time is power, not intensity.

  • lol boblafro... kipping is the cheaters version of pullups

  • whats the song?

  • Crossfit makes me giggle.

  • ha ha blackthought11 you took the bait u clown no body wants your fuckin life story ! and by the way im a semi pro cyclist so i think i would have more endurance than u and these clowns now piss off and die u freak!

  • @boblafro

No. If you do a workout with regular pullups, it takes more time for the same amount of work, because it requires more intensity.

Also, no such proof that you mention was ever construed, you just talking out of your ass.

  • Crossfit is literally the best two-times-a-week thing you can add to your training program if you play a field sport. I play university level rugby. I lift heavy 2-3 times a week and add two and sometimes even 3 Crossfit days during offseason. My overall fitness is at an all time high. During season, I do Crossfit two times a week as part of my maintenance program and it helps keep my lifts at essentially the same point thatI left them. It will show you what you are actually capable of...

  • @boblafro How would you go about in proving that kippers can do as many pullups as non kippers could? That statement alone makes it quite evident you're a fanboy.

Also in general weight training terms intensity refers to the weight you are training with over your current max, so high intensity would refer to something like 70-95% of your max etc.

There is by the way nothing intrinsically more funtional about training crossfit style than any other style.

  • @boblafro how could it be proven that kippers can do the same amount of strict pullups when it clearly takes different muscles to perform? what basis of comparison could you possibly use to fairly compare? Basically you're full of shit.

crossfit is cool but undeniably inefficient as shit. go lift shit and run.

  • I love how they show the guy covered in blood and go "Look CrossFit, serious business"

When in reality, he dropped a snatch on his head because he doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

  • @guitayrplaya Your exactly right crossfitters have no idea what they are doing, we are ignorant narrow minded fuck ups with no form or strength, nailed it! You sir, deserve a reward! for being the most ignorant man to walk to this day.. I am going to WOD now and live longer than you.

  • @russebla000 I unironically agree that crossfitters have no muscle or any measurable strength. You, sir, nailed it. I am going to the gym now to squat 3x the amount than you ever will.

  • @guitayrplaya There's no blood on his neck, leading me to believe that the injury did not come from his head, but rather the cut on his chest. Possibly cut himself on some equipment?

  • Looks gay

  • thats one way to get a serious injury, these guys are strong sure but fit !give me a break! ive got more endurance in my baby finger than these guys

  • @deepdeep46 You are a fucking idiot

  • @deepdeep46 Do you? go to the games next year and prove it!

  • In the video how much are the weights? The green, yellow and red? I cant read the numbers well.. Green says 10 lb or kg? Or neither?

  • @111901zimb green is supposed to be 10kg, yellow 15kg, blue 20kg, red 25kg, that's if they're following olympic standards

  • I <3 you crossfit

  • Song > Drowning Pool - Hate

  • seems hard enough,i will give it a try!! :)

  • Not to take away from the fitness it takes win these "games" but the fittest people on earth??

Tag line should be "fittest (non-professional athlete) on earth...

  • @TChopper3 The concept is to hit all areas of fitness, running 10k+ (uphill if called for) double under jump rope, gymnastics, lifts, jumps, etc. Pro athletes specialize, some would do great but would struggle at crossfits work capacity. Some would kill the lifts & fall back in the skill or endurance hybrid events. Like Paul Smith, Former NFL RB and a BEAST competes crossfit & has a rough time passing his regional competition let alone world competition. I see your point though boss. Take care.

  • Take it from a convert. I was once the ignorant fool that did isolation moves in front of a mirror under the impression my changing physique was an image of fitness and Alpha Male status. I then went to Crossfit and found people smaller than me pushing more weight than I could. Whereas once I was blind, now I could see...

  • @dblacky1977 amen brother

  • @dblacky1977 Because they use crappy form.

    Also isolations are useless too.

    Get those compounds baby.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep that was a very ignorant comment. To be honest, I first heard of crossfit and the way crossfitters train and eat by hearing John Beason (Yes, the pro bowl linebacker) say he started it and it was the best and gave major results! Im done with ball now but after my summer of crossfit, I made the D2 All American Bowl. It elevated my game to the max.

  • what song is that?

  • 2 people prefer their shake-weight...

  • *functional

  • crossfit sucks! what a waste of time...

  • @xMattx22 hows ur video games going

  • @WR3STL3 you mean hows my D1 scholorship to ohio state to play basketball? its great thanks :)

  • @xMattx22 Matt V.

your profile is nothing but video game videos. Not basketball

Maybe you quit crossfit because your a wimp? and you comment saying how bad it is when its really not?

  • @xMattx22 your actually dumb. watch out ill be on espn next year! have fun with your crossfit goon!

  • @xMattx22 Stop acting like you know everything after watching one video. You don't know half of it.

  • @emceeAMile i do know everything...

  • @emceeAMile Those pullups would screw up your shoulders. Crossfit is great for endurance, and strength. But not even close for explosiveness.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep They would screw up your shoulders? How so? CrossFit covers the 10 elements of fitness (endurance, power, strength, stamina, etc). What would you consider being explosiveness?

  • @emceeAMile Not doing 5000 reps... I see people at crossfit, and they have no vertical leaps, and they are relatively slow. Explosiveness = less reps more weight, Force depends on Mass x Acceleration. If you want to be explosive do huge weight and do it quick as possible for low reps.

The pullups speak for themselves... If crossfit works for you, then great for you

  • @BeepimajeepBeep I can't argue against that, though I haven't thought of CrossFit having a great number of reps for any designated exercise, and it doesn't focus on one particular thing, but rather most things in general. From what I've seen, it all depends on the person. Some people at my gym are new and not entirely used to the intensity, while others challenge themselves while still trying to maintain intensity. But, that's just what I've seen.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep I see you don't know how crossfit works when I see what you write. It's almost as your implying that the only thing we do is many reps of everything. What you see in these videos are the "metcon". This is testing of how strong you are as well as your cardio. This does not mean we don't do strength training. We do strength before or after every "metcon". Static movements will not make you explosive. Explosive lifts and movements will.

  • @BeepimajeepBeep Crossfit attacks ALL areas of fitness and if it doesn't now....it will very soon! We are always looking to expand and improve. I.E. coach Glassman says keep an eye out for swim events in the future! There are a wide variety of weights being moved at high intensity and a countless amount of movements executed. I started it as off season training for collegiate football and EVERY aspect of my game was amplified.

  • @awalkerog You play college football, and you do crossfit, no wonder you are on youtube.

  • Best in shape people in the world.....

  • some ugly females in this vid

  • CrossFitters are cocky, and so they should be! Crossfit in some form or another is the only way any athlete should train. If you disagree, go suck on a dumbbell! I'm glad there are so many naysayers out there because while your crying big alligator tears about how you could or have done CrossFit, your old lady will be buying me a drink, a Paleo drink that is Bahahahaha!!

  • @bigbillsanders yeh man, 90kg cleans...thats pretty intense shit haahahah loser

  • grate!!!!

  • Crossfit Rules

  • @madmardygan crossfit is not specifically designed.... it is circuit training mixed with density..... just marketed very well

they are the best at conditioning?

Not knocking the effort of the people participating .... but I fail to see the science in the claims.

  • @boblafro in any exercise physiology discussion you are discussing volume.... Intensity is the percentage of a max effort..... density would be a better term

they are doing repitive low intensity work by definition

  • @madmardygan Breaking form and not hurting yourself basically = cheating. Cheating, which, if I recall, was supported by The Oak himself. I agree with you; breaking form is perfectly fine provided you do it safely, and not all the time.

  • i still don´t get what do they messure to define a winner in a crossfit game? can sombody explain it to me?

  • Can't afford it. Seems like every nearby crossfit place wants around $120 a month for it. Yeah, I know, it's personal coaching, but entirely too expensive for me. Sorry.

I buy that it's a good workout though. I do some of the WOD's, which is nice. It's sort of 'open source' physical fitness, since you don't need much equipment, and info is freely available online, which I appreciate.

  • I'm gonna stick up for this stuff! I've done heaps of exercise in my days, including Aussie Rules pre-season, which was brutal. But having made a comeback of sorts atfer years of laziness, I'm a huge cross-fit fan. It gives a real all-round work out, builds some muscle mass, and my group is a nice bunch of like minded individuals who motivate me. What's wrong with that? I'm happy to pay per session for what I wouldn't do on my own, and am getting results, and the dudes I do it with are great.

  • @madmardygan like I said before about 20 times previous that's the attitude that most x fitters have, but when you see an ad of some guy that did 30 225lb dead lifts for time while showing his bloody shins as a badge of honor, the irony kills me, if you have bloody shins then you have shitty form. Most of the OL or any of the weighted movements are not meant to be done fast and repetitive, that's what's silly. You can get just as strong running, doing dips, pull ups pushups, situps etc..

  • @bdehoyosOL whats wrong with bloody shin deadlifts? I thought you were supposed to keep the bar as close to your body as possible for the whole lift, I don't have the problem since I don't do any pulls for more than 5 reps and I agree with your other points obviously crossfit is stupid etc but bloody shins aren't an indicator of bad form I don't think. you see alot of of westside guys with ductaped shins and even pat mendes has pretty bad scars in his videos from cleans

  • @ilikecakemorethanu it means you are using your back and arms instead of driving with your legs and hips. The bloody shins are a sign that the bar is swinging into your legs rather than following the correct trajectory. It happens, I have had them too, but it pisses me off because it means I messed up the first pull. In OL If your shins are consistently bloody the only sign you have is that your first pull sucks. WS barbell guys do PL-DL's which are completely different from OL pulls.

  • @bdehoyosOL truth I could see how it messes up your setup for the second pull if the bars bouncing out off the shins a bit, gotta agree to disagree about DLs though i feel the bar should always be as tight to the body as possible which will inevitably wreck your shins for high rep

  • @bdehoyosOL have been in many oly lifting gyms and powerlifting gyms..... you get bloody shins a lot. Some powerlifters do not as they keep the bar away and use more back

that is why most wear long sock etc

  • @madmardygan Yep you've got it all figured out, my two dreams are to go to the Olympics for synchronized diving and curling. I want to be the best Olympic Lifter I can be which is why I have no business in xfit, if it's your thing fine, but it gets annoying when everyone acts as though xfit is the most elite thing to ever hit fitness.

  • @madmardygan yep I want to go to the olympics for curling and synchronized swimming. I want to be the best I can be at Olympic lifting, which is why I have no business at crossfit.

  • @be0BSCENE yeah because they're too lazy to watch a P90X video, same thing LOL!

  • lol @ twinks using babyweights

  • @boblafro muscle strength is gained through increased muscle tension which creates micro tears in the fiber. you increase muscle tension by doing slow reps or fast reps with heavy weight. kipping however uses momentum and takes away muscle tension and therefore does little in improving strenght

  • Just thought i better add i have tried crossfit and didtn stop because it was too hard but because i like the way i train and its a bit of a rip off

  • Crossfit people really need to get over themselves. Seriously stop bagging out other people for not doing crossfit and training differently, havent you ever stopped to think that maybe they like the way they train and dont need to be told by so called elite athletes (as crossfitters like to refer to themselves as) that they are doing it wrong and you should be doing it this way. Doing it wrong in whose eyes yours, that is just one opinion. Havent you ever heard of been humble.

  • @TheAussiepride01 i seriously couldn't agree with you more. "so you didn't stop crossfit because it was too hard? so you must be saying that you are perfectly capable of constructing and executing an intense workout in a manner that you find challenging and while still reaching your goals?? NO WAY! not unless you are in crossfit! that's the only way!!" haha.. yes, that's exactly what i'm saying. i like the way i train, get great results, and best of all don't leave feeling like a sheep.

  • so gay , good for girls or gay men. The music makes it look even more gay than it is which is pretty gay.

It may hurt but so does getting kicked in the nuts, neither will help you get stronger. In my opinion crossfit is rubbish and I should know I used to do this stupid shit !

  • @zalko70 So that makes you gay for watching a "gay"-video :)

  • @zalko70 finally somebody agrees with me. Im not completely knocking crossfit i do think it has its advantages. but they just need to stop been arrogant annd stop thinking their way is the only way

  • Cross fit looks fucking epically brutal. good mixture of endurance, strength and CV fitness!!

  • @jackthenorthern And actually more: Strength, power, endurance, stamina, agility, accuracy, speed, balance, flexibility, cardiovascular, coordination.

  • crossfit is torture -_- i got hella sore when my coach tryed to make me do sets of workouts none stop.

  • what song is this?

  • I'm in the fitness industry and think that CrossFit's mentality is terrible. People doing olympic lifts badly causes injuries. And why do these people all need to train for power when they probably have imbalances and poor core stability.

  • @thefisherman926 its not all olympic lifts. stop just watching videos and making assumptions. Its a variety of things that incorporates every muscle, thats why we do dips on gymnast rings instead of bars, and kipping pull-ups instead of normal ones to work every little muscle.go try it, then talk.

  • @cheergal2000 Nah. I'm good.

  • I'm all for you guys being stoked on getting in shape, but you should really learn to focus on doing lifts properly rather than doing a lot of reps. 'Cause holy shit, crossfitters tend to have brutal form.

I have also never heard one sound argument why your rounds would include 30 kipping pull ups when it could just require 10 proper pull ups instead.

You guys have a weird obsession with high numbers. Good that you're out lifting and sprinting though. Cheerio.

  • @zanalsex because kiping pullups work your core, and legs. Crossfit is about full body workouts thats why youll never see anyone benching, or doing bicep curls. It's not about the high numbers, its about working every muscle not just focusing on one

  • @cheergal2000 no the reason they don't do bench press is because it is expensive and takes up space to have 20 or more flat benches. Crossfit "boxes"are a joke , just a heap of olympic bars and some chin up bars. What an absolute rip off for the idiots paying big money for this shit. This rubbish was started so average Joes could set up a gym in their garage , now it's out of hand and these fools think they are the elite of the fitness world. Crossfit is for try hards. Believe it !

  • crossfit is the best hands down!

do you want to just look like you're in shape or really be in shape..

  • Comment removed

  • @bradsabeast Or they just look watch a few videos and assume. Rather then doing actual research, If they did that they would find out it's more then just Olympic lifts, and why we include Kipping pull-ups rather then just pull ups. It was kind of like with Bruce Lee. People thought he was crazy and had no idea what he was doing. But history tell us different.

  • @bradsabeast or C. tried it and realized Xfit is the equivalent of P90X, but 100x's more expensive.

  • @bdehoyosOL maybe in terms of work done, but P90X has virtually no practical movements besides push ups and pull ups. no deadlifts, squats (weighted), etc etc

  • @pumitaproductions nothing has practical movements when it's done with shitty form. Form is forgone for reps and time, this is a time bomb waiting to happen. You can say what you but both of my coaches have competed in the Olympics, one of them has 2 gold medals. In his prime he could squat 350x30 ATG consecutively, he didn't achieve this by wearing vibrams and hopping around like a fairy for an hour a day eating paleo. He busted it out with grueling technical work. Xfit only has this facade.

  • @bradsabeast Try Chinese method OL you wouldn't last a week, unless you do 95lbs for reps and time rofl. Anybody who has to tell you how elite they are constantly usually has a hole in their game. Get over it, x fit isn't all that. It imitates other solid routines and tries to give itself more credit than it deserves. X fit would be ok for average people trying to get in better shape, there is a reason that not a single x fitter has a gold medal in anything but x fit games.

  • @bdehoyosOL Obviously some who trains strictly crossfit wont come first at high levels in other sports because they simply train for crossfit. Same goes for almost any other sport. You won't see marathon runners winning sprinting, or swimmers winning at power lifting comps. While at lower levels i would say a crossfitter would come out on top most of the time.

  • All the people who bad mouth CrossFit wouldn't stand a chance during a WOD...IDK why they would waste their time writing comments

  • it works i been doing crossfit basics for the last month in a half and i have lost 15 pounds

  • @nsnpunkrock you could also do the same by eating a solid diet.

  • Hey, You do not understand Crossfit, I'm going to play college football and this is all my Strength and conditioning coaches have me do. You do not understand it till you try it, if you think this doesn't work than how come every fucking person is ripped, cut, and huge and look like they are about to die? Cause it's high intensity matabolic workout. Of coarse your too naive about that aren't you? Why don't you try it and see what happens.

  • @russebla000 I did not see one huge person in that video.
