  • looks pretty solid. but what kind of serves are they feeding him at the end? he has enough time to swing just like for a regular ground stroke..

  • 6 feet 1 but only 160lbs , i can't believe you. My friend is 6 feet , he is super skinny but he weights 164lbs. You don't look that very skinny to me though !!

  • The other guy in the other Court a Pro too.

  • dude wtf u look and hit just like me lol man, i wish u all the best, if u ever go pro i'll look u up, nd maybe we can play doubles, when i get there to man

  • @UchralChonos wait only groundstrokes

  • Thanks for watching and commenting. It is a K Factor 95, not the Federer. I will have a more recent video posted soon, please subscribe!

  • @BrewokGanas That's not Federer's racquet... Federer's is a 90 sq in head size.

  • why don't switch to one-hand backhand? it will fit ur federer's racquet :)

  • @ericnguyentennis your footwork is a dream

  • i think i saw you on tv during a college tennis tournament did you beat some indian guy to win a round or tournament btw if that was u, u were good

  • It is a good thing it says "Groundstrokes" before you hit your groundies because as a college coach, I wouldn't have been able to figure that out ;)

  • You have so good forehand :) i like it :)

  • Criss guy. Why do you have so many views?

  • where is it ? i wan to learn as well...bcz i have been playing tennis abt 5 years already.... Now i want to be like that....

  • Movement is top class.

  • this guy has mad skills. Only flaw that I notice is his toss level release.

  • yore pro man best is footwork an control but work on the sarve

  • @ronklain1 I'll be going pro, I'll get up there fast, just watch. Subscribe to me for updates.

  • the other guy's really good!

  • unreal footwork

  • smoking feets nice footwork men :D

  • its funny how he over exaggerates his split step, don't be me wrong, this nigga is fucking good! im talking about from 1:35-1:40

  • its funny how he over exaggerates his split step, don't be me wrong, this nigga is fucking good!

  • Does his opponent know how to hit it beyond the service line?

  • @stefanwilliams100 Notice how this is a college tennis video, the opponent is helping him look good. If you knew the opponents ITF ranking, you'd reconsider your comment.

  • @snguy073 Whos he hitting with then??

  • @stefanwilliams12 That's his younger brother Edward.

  • Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week!

But don't forget to "jjjump up"

  • lolz I played on that very court about a million times :)

  • Searching for scholarship for Fall 2011, watch my video. Thanks!

  • This in maryland-?

  • Godly footwork.

  • Jolie jeux de jambes !

  • Great strokes, but you shouldn't take such tiny steps!

  • @Moddick2 those steps are precision steps of his footwork so he can get in perfect position to hit the ball

  • Worst cameraman

  • youtube.com/watch?v=vRKpx3h0Md4

    watch this!

  • his form on the backhand is perfect!

  • @centerwiggshikar no its a roddick-backhand. And unhealthy footwork dude.

  • What racquet were you using here?

  • Hes mad good, but theres something about his strokes that make them look so awkward, i dont know if its the head or the ridiculous in the air hip rotation.

  • How come you dont play this well anymore haha jk

  • Patrick Lipscomb on youtube, Southern Cals Sportsman ship award, All County player 17yr old.

  • Patrick Lipscomb, Southern Cals Sportsman ship award, All County player 17yr old.

  • Dude i love his forehand its so fluid so powerful nice job dude have fun in college! From a guy who wants to play college tennis.

  • looks really good you just need to hit the ball deeper

  • indoor courts have no room on the side. if you serve out wide it is an ace every time.

  • This is my cousin in the video

  • @viettwilightgirl91 so did he get into a college? what was his junior ranking in canada?

  • when u where doing the return serve, that guy had a weak serve =\=\

  • that is tall vietnamese

  • insane footwork

  • @HCNguyen86 do you mean like how he stomps his feet twenty times in the beginning instead of doing a simple splitstep? Is that really necessary?

  • @messiaen2000 Yes however it is not the case in this video.. perfect set up on every hit is due to his "exaggerated" footwork.

  • @messiaen2000 I think he has excellent foot work.

Stay on your toes and take small step to adjust to the ball.

  • hey Eric. some advice: For your forehand you need to finish the preparation completely (racket head down) before accelerating forward. I think you will get more power that way. Not trying to be a smartass.

  • are you brothers with eddie nguyen?

  • Dude, It seems that your forehand is much better than your backhand. Maybe you put too much spin when you hit with backhand.

  • Nice strokes. Nice volleys. You're awesome.

  • at 3:28 when he tried to return your overhead did his strings break?

  • that would have been nice to actually see the ball

  • hey man did you get into a school?? you play some good tennis!

  • Very Excellent! nice racket work. You are not fake, the real thing! Practice 2nd service more. Just all.

  • so where is he playing and what position??

  • how do u apply with this video do u just send this in to some USA College?

  • Correction: 5' 1" , not 6 1

  • you need to hit the ball deeper. hitting it deeper makes it harder for the opponent, so you should aim higher over the net. other than that, really good :P

  • dude ur 6 ft 1??

  • @mrgoogamopho he looks 5'10 but that may be because he's squatting all the time

  • i like the racket choice

  • Eric, would you please post one of your game on here, I really want to see how well you play in real game...

  • killer footwork........

  • Right-handed version of Verdasco. Except Fernando is taller and is a professional tennis player.

  • @yiyinchang verdasco from 2009!?!?

  • is that a babolat pure storm gt racquet?

and u have the sickest coolest looking forehand

  • @uberbear999 no it's a wilson k-factor 6.1

  • Your forehand is too good. You should settle down. Your game makes me feel like I suck. I honestly don't see much of a difference between your strokes and a pro's

  • Beast!

  • excellent feet

  • Very good, good backhand motion.

    :)

  • heyyy dude you have a video? niceeee

didnt i just play you in that national tournamnet? ehhe 6-1 6-3 :)

  • dude. your forehand and all your volleys are sick. i wish i had the opportunity to play you man.

  • awesome skills dude. I don't believe you're 6 ft 1 though. Good luck selling that. More like 5'8??

  • Very good hitting, Eric.....

He's not 5'8 brother chengyman, why would he lie about his height???

  • @chengyman he looks 5'10

  • he does the same back hand swing as me nearly

  • wow ur good

  • crazy rotation on forehand its sick

  • wow... very cery good!

  • Didn't you get recruited by binghamton university and then went to like...ferris state or something?

  • what racquet are you using here

  • i think its the wilson k 6.1 team

  • Ksix One Tour 90 i believe

  • looks like a k6.1 95, no one uses 90's unless u can always hit the sweetspot, otherwise u would mishit nearly everyball.

  • i use tour 90. i prefer the smaller head size

  • =P not true, i used to use Pro Staff 85 and i did fine with it, but yes K90 is a very challenging stick but with practice it's a tamable beast

  • very nice forehand. footwork is fast. overall you should make it.

  • very nice man. keep it up

  • What NTRP level are you at?

  • Nice compact footwork. Did you work on it specifically i.e. the side step or did it come pretty naturally from playing?

  • very consistent and clean strokes! keep it up

  • I am a college coach...how can I contact you Eric?

  • hottie hot hot game

  • do you serve and volley? you finish way in the court after the serve.

  • Very Nice! You've got some major quick feet dude!

  • Very Very nice strokes.

  • Great footwork and racquet speed. Best of luck to you.

  • Props on the vid man. You can see you strokes and where the ball is landing and ect. Tho you are just "hitting" you've got nice strokes. You will be picked up I know it man. Good luck

  • Hey mon fils! Tu es solide! mais je te bat quand meme! :P ! tu me wall pour me dire quand tu veu jouer! chow!!

  • damn who made that death yell in there

  • damn nice strokes! dude one question: what strings and what tension do you use on your racquet?

  • nice footwork and consistency!

  • Hey man what year are you looking to start? Really like it, I am playing college tennis just started and we would love players like you. Div 1 in chicago let me know man.

  • your awesome i like your footwork way to go. But for returning serves, i think it would be better and faster for you to react if you bounced on your tippy toes then jump in postion for the return.
