@stefanwilliams100 Notice how this is a college tennis video, the opponent is helping him look good. If you knew the opponents ITF ranking, you'd reconsider your comment.
Hes mad good, but theres something about his strokes that make them look so awkward, i dont know if its the head or the ridiculous in the air hip rotation.
hey Eric. some advice: For your forehand you need to finish the preparation completely (racket head down) before accelerating forward. I think you will get more power that way. Not trying to be a smartass.
you need to hit the ball deeper. hitting it deeper makes it harder for the opponent, so you should aim higher over the net. other than that, really good :P
Your forehand is too good. You should settle down. Your game makes me feel like I suck. I honestly don't see much of a difference between your strokes and a pro's
Props on the vid man. You can see you strokes and where the ball is landing and ect. Tho you are just "hitting" you've got nice strokes. You will be picked up I know it man. Good luck
Hey man what year are you looking to start? Really like it, I am playing college tennis just started and we would love players like you. Div 1 in chicago let me know man.
your awesome i like your footwork way to go. But for returning serves, i think it would be better and faster for you to react if you bounced on your tippy toes then jump in postion for the return.
looks pretty solid. but what kind of serves are they feeding him at the end? he has enough time to swing just like for a regular ground stroke..

@BrewokGanas That's not Federer's racquet... Federer's is a 90 sq in head size.

It is a good thing it says "Groundstrokes" before you hit your groundies because as a college coach, I wouldn't have been able to figure that out ;)

@HCNguyen86 do you mean like how he stomps his feet twenty times in the beginning instead of doing a simple splitstep? Is that really necessary?
whoathatsretro 1 year ago
@messiaen2000 Yes however it is not the case in this video.. perfect set up on every hit is due to his "exaggerated" footwork.
HCNguyen86 1 year ago
@messiaen2000 I think he has excellent foot work.
Stay on your toes and take small step to adjust to the ball.
