I was at this particular performance in Nashville at the CMA music fest. We sat in pouring rain for hours mostly just to see this woman. I love the fact that she is such a strong presence on stage and absolutley loves her fans. She was AWESOME. I'd do it again ;O)

@lesson34 catholic and christian arent the same. catholics believe in saints and they've made changes that are against God, they also pray to mary and only God should be prayed to. the pope does not represent God on earth, we dont have to confess our sins to a priest, we go to God for our prayers and confessions. my grandma is catholic and my mom is christian so i know their not the same.
Misconceptions! We don't believe in saints, we ask them to pray for us just like I would ask you to pray for me. Same with Mary, we ask her to pray for us as in the Hail Mary - "pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death..." Yes the Pope IS the Vicar of Christ on earth, like it or not. Confessing sins to a priest is from the Bible (Mt16:19) And by the way, it was Martin Luther and the Protestants that made the changes (many of them against God), not the Catholics! And ur also right that there r some Catholics who put so much emphasis on their devotion to Mary that they neglect their devotion to Jesus. But there are many more Catholics who, like myself, know and love the Lord and have had conversion experiences (what you would call being "born-again"). Have u ever watched EWTN on cable? You'll see we are true Christians.

@xlilxmamax1andonly I did used to be anti-Catholic. I used 2 listen 2 Hank Hanegraaff and others who had (and still have) an anti-Catholic streak to their teaching. I was actually raised Catholic, but then had a born-again experience in the Protestant church that I joined in my 20''s, then was against Catholicism for years. But then many people from that Protestant church, including myself, were called back by the Lord to be Catholics again. But now, I really know Him, I didn't when I was a kid.

It's about your PERSONAL faith to the One God sent to the world for salvation - new life (that's why it's called "born again"), that is a life in His Presence - that's why the veil was torn when Jesus died. But you see, it has to be PERSONAL, the faith of friends and relatives cannot believe for you so you have to CHOOSE it yourself. It's like a chocolate, you won't know how sweet it is until you taste it yourself. :)

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you" is from Luke 1:28. Luke 1:48 says "From now on all generations will call me blessed." And as far as her not being Jesus' mother, who is then? St. Joseph, yes, is His foster father. But Mary carried Jesus in her womb. Not the mother of God? Jesus is God. Mary is Jesus' mother. That makes her the MOG:)

I am not sure which version of the bible you are reading but 1 John 5:7 KJV and Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition both say "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
The only major difference between these 2 versions is that KJV is missing 7 books. These 2 books/chapters/verses referenced are nearly identical.

This is really a good song. I sang this in church and so did my cousin. Both times it was amazing, each person brings their own flavor to the song. I love to hear everybody sing their "flavor" of the song.
I've seen her in concert many times. When she sings this song you can see the passion she has for her faith and it resonates strongly into the audience.
She is obviously singing this song to our Lord, as well as her back-up singers and many members of the audience. You never know when a group of Christians gather to glorify our Lord how many non Christians lives could be impacted and changed. She is awesome!!!!!

@lesson34 catholic and christian arent the same. catholics believe in saints and they've made changes that are against God, they also pray to mary and only God should be prayed to. the pope does not represent God on earth, we dont have to confess our sins to a priest, we go to God for our prayers and confessions. my grandma is catholic and my mom is christian so i know their not the same.

Misconceptions! We don't believe in saints, we ask them to pray for us just like I would ask you to pray for me. Same with Mary, we ask her to pray for us as in the Hail Mary - "pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death..." Yes the Pope IS the Vicar of Christ on earth, like it or not. Confessing sins to a priest is from the Bible (Mt16:19) And by the way, it was Martin Luther and the Protestants that made the changes (many of them against God), not the Catholics! @bernieanddesales okay well obviously your a catholic and i know catholic and christian are not the same you wouldnt know because your not a true christian. mary is not God so no one should pray to her like she is. and if you think mary is God then your reading the wrong bible. christians believe in Jesus, catholics believe in mary so God bless you too! theres no need to be rude and try to act like u know everything because u dont, if u dont have anything nice to say then dont say anything.

@xlilxmamax1andonly Hi again - Yes I really am a Christian, Jesus really is my Savior too. True, Mary is not God, she is the Mother of God. One of the commandments is "Honor your father and your mother" (Ex 20:12). Do you think Jesus honored His mother? Do you think He likes it when you dishonor her? By the way, you might want to read Luke 1:28 where the angel Gabriel says to her, "Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you." That's pretty honoring, I'd say. Hey, I used to be anti-catholic too.:)

You seem to believe that Catholicism is heretical and it's not. As far as Mary goes, I agree, you're absolutely right that it doesn't say in the Bible that Mary is God. We worship God alone. We don't worship Mary. But we do love her, and she loves us, and she prays for us. Even Martin Luther prayed the rosary!

@xlilxmamax1andonly I'm a Catholic Christian. I admit there r many Catholics that r nominal - they have a said faith but not a real 1. And ur also right that there r some Catholics who put so much emphasis on their devotion to Mary that they neglect their devotion to Jesus. But there are many more Catholics who, like myself, know and love the Lord and have had conversion experiences (what you would call being "born-again"). Have u ever watched EWTN on cable? You'll see we are true Christians.

@xlilxmamax1andonly I did used to be anti-Catholic. I used 2 listen 2 Hank Hanegraaff and others who had (and still have) an anti-Catholic streak to their teaching. I was actually raised Catholic, but then had a born-again experience in the Protestant church that I joined in my 20''s, then was against Catholicism for years. But then many people from that Protestant church, including myself, were called back by the Lord to be Catholics again. But now, I really know Him, I didn't when I was a kid.

@terikfs03 It's not about religion, denomination or race. It's about your PERSONAL faith to the One God sent to the world for salvation - new life (that's why it's called "born again"), that is a life in His Presence - that's why the veil was torn when Jesus died. But you see, it has to be PERSONAL, the faith of friends and relatives cannot believe for you so you have to CHOOSE it yourself. It's like a chocolate, you won't know how sweet it is until you taste it yourself. :)

@bernieanddesales please don't be angry(i got the idea because of the excalamation point).I see, you're just defending. :) Maybe it would be better to revise the Hail Mary. Don't hail Mary and she's not the mother of God,in fact she's a 'foster' mother of Jesus. The second part of that prayer is the one that is blasphemous as it declares Mary as Holy. And be reminded that it's all Christians that are His representatives and ambassadors on earth. :) Let's be one in Him. God blessed us already! :D

@animaticToshiue If you'd like to revise the Hail Mary, you'd better be prepared to revise the Bible, because most of it is directly from scripture. "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you" is from Luke 1:28. Luke 1:48 says "From now on all generations will call me blessed." And as far as her not being Jesus' mother, who is then? St. Joseph, yes, is His foster father. But Mary carried Jesus in her womb. Not the mother of God? Jesus is God. Mary is Jesus' mother. That makes her the MOG:)

Than that would mean that God is not perfect. Jesus made it quite clear that he is Gods 'Sons & not God himself..

I make plenty of spelling errors as well so no need to apologize. You don't need to buy into anything. The Trinity is not a knew concept recently made up. Many Christians believe in the Trinity today. Many Christians claim to know the truth as well. I would ask you who is correct and why?
Even Oprah has made statements claiming that she knows that Jesus did not come down to Earth to die for our sins. By your reasoning, it seems to me that she is also right.

Jesus said that he was sent by the Father & if you remember it is stated that Jesus went to the garden asking Father if there was another way of saving us with out him having to die, & than Jesus said, ok Father ... Your Will Be Done & Not Mine. Jesus was sent to save us, but he did not realy want to die, but he did. He showed us the way by Honoring Fathers Will

@MrChristianBeliever Yes there are those who believe in the Trinity, however nowhere in the Bible does God claim to be all 3. I was told that it was in the 1st book of the Bible & I looked it up & it did not say no such thing. It states that God said which one of us & not which one of me, which tells me that there is 3 of them,but only one of them is the real God, who also refers to himself as our Father. Of whos image we wereto be created in, & it was decided that it would be God our Father.

I am not sure which version of the bible you are reading but 1 John 5:7 KJV and Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition both say "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
The only major difference between these 2 versions is that KJV is missing 7 books. These 2 books/chapters/verses referenced are nearly identical.

Both KJV and Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition say it. I am not sure which version you are reading. There are so many versions out there and they have all been interpreted differently just like there are so many different denominations of Christians all believing something slightly different.
Some day there will be as many different beliefs and books as there are Christians.

This is really a good song. I sang this in church and so did my cousin. Both times it was amazing, each person brings their own flavor to the song. I love to hear everybody sing their "flavor" of the song.

She is obviously singing this song to our Lord, as well as her back-up singers and many members of the audience. You never know when a group of Christians gather to glorify our Lord how many non Christians lives could be impacted and changed. She is awesome!!!!!

Those people who went to her concert, went to see her perform. Most are not there to worship her, they want to hear her sing. She is a beautiful person whether she sings Christian or secular songs. I have watched Wy all throughout the years and she proves that she was raised by true Christians. Keep it up Wy.

i agree, she is singing about jesus and if the people who hold up the signs "i love you wy "could see that their signs should be "I love you jesus." you see winona in her beauty holding up her hands during her performance of the song worshiping the Lord. she is a true christian sister and i hope to speak with here once we who are all saved are in heaven loving the lord. wont it be wonderful.
