  • The song is certainly not in the hindi , hindustani or urdu languages spoken widely in northern Indian state of Utter Pradesh. This sounds more like bangla.

  • Quite a few Muslims :) I wasn't sure if it was common to see so many Muslims in Uttar Pradesh after Partition as many migrated to Pakistan (including my grandparents on both sides)
