lol whats all the arguing! This is about Splash Wave. One of the handful of game songs that I would actually listen to by choice. Including the Double Dragon and Golden Axe themes, Commando and International Karate from the Commodore 64, F-Zero on SNES, and the piano music from the original The Sims game.
Actually, you willingly played boring shit like Call of Duty and Halo growing up so you're probably not intelligent enough to understand this. I request a refund on my respect, I suppose.
For the record, I prefer Viewtiful Joe to this game and it's E rated by yankee standards I believe... That doesn't mean I'd want to replay it again instead of Bayonetta when the latter was new. Sure I'll end my life having playing VJ MORE but variety is the spice of life.
- you should judge him or her as an individual, methinks.
That's my two cents. Age restrictions are a generalization to make sure of maturity. Things slip through the cracks on both ends, like game inspired murder with adults and irresponsibility with sex. Likewise, as a 15 year old I'm completely unaffected playing violent games. I just. Don't. Care. If I had a parent like you I'd probably end up spending all my time around friends houses.
@NacodaLupine Well I can say right now that if I had kids, they'd enjoy a childhood overseen by me than with you. I'm 15 so I can't speak for if I'll ever have them, but that's a little hypocritical if you did it and they couldn't. At the least just let them grab from the shelf what they want after age 12 or so...
If you're a parent, judge your kids by their individual levels of maturity. If they seem like chavvy, pikey types or mischievous it'd be a bad idea, but if one is very intelligent -
With Gears of Honour 4 Halo Battlefield 2 type games though it has a base and carnal identity as a shooter. I think they're more terrible influences; they discourage creative thought and isolate financially successful entertainment to rehashes. And have real war, terrible intentions, murder. I still don't think it's a big deal, but kids do play them games a huge amount.
Haha they're the majority of the fanbase, unsurprisingly... God that series sucks.
Anyway, Bayonetta is lewd, sure, but the gameplay is too fun for me to tell anyone to miss out. At least when kids the same age all play God of War and Call of Duty. I played Devil May Cry as a child. It did nothing to me. I cringed when I saw Alastor impale him, but affect me largely it did not.
@AlastorGX I'm also fifteen now despite what I have my age set as, and I Pure Platinum bulldozed the game. Bayonetta doesn't arouse me either. Enjoy the real world not running according to your stereotypes and being full of grey areas.
am only 11 and i played this when i was 10 i love the peachful muisc i know a lot of people that made this game! i love the voice of luka bayonetta and jeanne1 thank you god for this game!
@Bayonetta666 Aren't you a little young for this game? Hope you didn't get aroused... If you can physically get aroused at your age.... And parents blame the game industry and the government for such violent and blah blah blah - Your mother should not have let you play this - hell, I bet you're not even old enough to have played the original Outrun...
I'd much rather youngins go after a game that has a fairly peaceful and enjoyable motif behind the atmosphere, rather than being brainwashed with realistic murder at the behest of US soldiers or generic testosterone chugging heroes like Dante.
I grew up on Streets of Rage and Devil May Cry. It didn't make me shoot people or stab them, christ.
@AlastorGX I have absolutely no clue who you mean this for, but itf it's for me, I'll leave this response for you. If not, then you can go about your buissness:
That's great for you. And I'm sure you grew up perfectly normal, according to your long winded and absolutely comprehensible reply, make sure to use those lovely conversational skills in the future, you'll go far
/sarcasm.
Calm the hell down. It's rated M for a good reason, and if you played the game, you'd know what that is.
@AlastorGX I don't think you got the point. Yes, you may have grown up perfectly normal, hell, you may be the nicest guy on the planet, but spouting curse words and accusations doesn't show that. It shows a spastic teenager defending his fandom frantically on youtube without even thinking about what they write.
I have a different opinion then you: that doesn't mean that I'm wrong or your wrong. It means that we don't agree. I didn't come to you and start ranting and raving did I?
@NacodaLupine Actually, the acceptance of our differences allows me some strong respect for you. I know I'm heavy handed and borderline psychotic with my liberal expression, but I don't think Dante is responsible.
I guess it just gave me a kneejerk incense when kids play ridiculous shit like Call of Duty all the time and practically naught would ever stand in their way of it, and Bayonetta is singled out as a terrible influence. I'm a little irritated at the state of the industry.
@AlastorGX Also like, you must recognise ratings go off of the visual content and not the intellectual content. Things like NMH's molest story probably would've affected them less than the blood, and unlike Bayonetta's visceral mayhem it ties into the plot - of which is a big part of NMH. Bayonetta's plot and the crazy slutty behaviour stand so separate from the action. The blood being there or not being there wouldn't really alter the core...
@AlastorGX you do know that there are plenty of kids that are still good kids even playing volent games... I grew up playing GTA and 'm quite a peaceful guy.
Teenage violence and games played by teens are yet to be related, to this day.
@AlastorGX Hey, it's different opinions, my man, you have yours and I have mine, nobody can fault you for that! To be honest, I grew up playing games like Halo and CoD, but I probably wouldn't let my kids play it, nor would I let them play Bayonetta (although I absolutely adore the game) there are so many great games out there, I'd probably hold back Bayonetta and CoD and such until they were old enough. Hell, I'd probably play it with them ;)
@NacodaLupine Also, no, the response wasn't directed at you but more broadly at the attitude you portrayed. But you can't really comprehend my replies supposedly, so don't go back on your words and - wait, you responded to it knowing full well what I was talking about! Dear me, this can't mean to say you're using non sequitur ad hominem and are being a douchebag?
Name calling is fine, but you construe your points to discredit my personality on a rudimentary level and lie. That's low.
@AlastorGX The attitude I portrayed? As in, not thinking an 11 year old should play a game meant for 18 year olds? And, before you go off on the "your response is low" comment, take a quick peak at what you said first. Before you cry foul, let me remind you I didn't start my response with "fuck your shit". I respond to people the way they ask to responded to. If you want someone to respond to you analytical, use what you just responded with, not the response of a 13 year old at a computer.
@JeremyR09 then my advice for you is to use the yellow candy and let me tell tell ya, it only gets harder on nonstop infinite climax mode (very hard) beat the game on hard and you'll find out why
@1101kiryu the level is route 666. By the way this remix is amazing.

It's been a while since I platinum'd Bayonetta, so I forgot where this song appeared in the game. Can someone enlighten me?
