lol whats all the arguing! This is about Splash Wave. One of the handful of game songs that I would actually listen to by choice. Including the Double Dragon and Golden Axe themes, Commando and International Karate from the Commodore 64, F-Zero on SNES, and the piano music from the original The Sims game.

For the record, I prefer Viewtiful Joe to this game and it's E rated by yankee standards I believe... That doesn't mean I'd want to replay it again instead of Bayonetta when the latter was new. Sure I'll end my life having playing VJ MORE but variety is the spice of life.

That's my two cents. Age restrictions are a generalization to make sure of maturity. Things slip through the cracks on both ends, like game inspired murder with adults and irresponsibility with sex. Likewise, as a 15 year old I'm completely unaffected playing violent games. I just. Don't. Care. If I had a parent like you I'd probably end up spending all my time around friends houses.

With Gears of Honour 4 Halo Battlefield 2 type games though it has a base and carnal identity as a shooter. I think they're more terrible influences; they discourage creative thought and isolate financially successful entertainment to rehashes. And have real war, terrible intentions, murder. I still don't think it's a big deal, but kids do play them games a huge amount.

Anyway, Bayonetta is lewd, sure, but the gameplay is too fun for me to tell anyone to miss out. At least when kids the same age all play God of War and Call of Duty. I played Devil May Cry as a child. It did nothing to me. I cringed when I saw Alastor impale him, but affect me largely it did not.

@AlastorGX Also like, you must recognise ratings go off of the visual content and not the intellectual content. Things like NMH's molest story probably would've affected them less than the blood, and unlike Bayonetta's visceral mayhem it ties into the plot - of which is a big part of NMH. Bayonetta's plot and the crazy slutty behaviour stand so separate from the action. The blood being there or not being there wouldn't really alter the core...
