It's amazing how people who call themselves fans lose faith in thier team so easily. It's easy to say that it's all Venables fault after something that has worked all season for us, suddenly didn't. This is a new era, starting today. They've worked all off season on a new strategy. I just think it's funny that those who praised Venables two years ago blame him for everything now. He's a good coach, he always will be. Loosing 1/2 of your defensive line would throw a wrench in anyone's game!

Stoops is the best thing to happen to OU in a generation. When I went to OU Blake was coach, OU was losing, and there was absolutely no energy on campus. When I graduated, Stoops was coach, OU was dominate and Alum money flowed in. TV contracts may bring in tens of millions, but Alum money will bring in 100s of millions if a team is dominate, and will dry up if it isn't.
