  • SO WHICH ONE IS BETTER???

  • Thanks!

  • There`s a heck of a lot of Rye Cooder floating around in there, isn`t there- nice playing, by the way.

  • Thanks. Nope, not my BCS. Cheers.

  • Great playing and terriffic tone. I prefer the more rounded and sweeter sound from the blade! Is it your BCS62 that's on ebay at the moment?

  • @kaxado : well I think it does not get better than a great 65. Keep in mind a 65 is very rare and VERY expensive. I could be 100% happy with the BCS.

  • @kaxado : well if ipI

  • in your opinion fender is better or blade??

  • I love it both sound great, but I do prefer the sound of the blade a little more, just my opinion.

  • Ah love it- Thats what a S

trat should sound like- Although there where a few Bill Frissell licks in there, I`m sure-

  • I just improvised, it is not written music.

  • did you write that music?

  • Very nice! Wish more people did demos like this. The Blade comes really, really close to my ears. The Fender has a roundness and depth to the sound that the Blade doesn't but that probably has more to do with the age of the guitar than anything else. Lovely playing too!

  • sound the same , in some parts

  • both great/ but comparing em face-to-face first was lil better for me ( i dont know if it was strat or blade ) . it lil brighter opened sound.

  • I like your playing style. The comparison isn't really much though. I see the point you're trying to make, but as many famous guitarists have said, it doesn't matter what guitar they play, it will always sound like them. So in my opinion, you're such a good player that it doesn't really matter which guitar you're playing. You sound like you. Great playing.

  • @217SaintJimmy Thanks for the very kind words.

  • That first strat has some rich depth. Very nice and exceptionally warm on the notched tones, due to no RWRP crap back then. Today's strats sound so plinky. The second guitar is alright, flat in comparison to the first. It doesn't have the roundness or depth, when you snap the string, it goes "plink", instead of that more elastic thing the vintage has.

  • lovely!!

  • Not bad the Blade, but the Strat has a specific perfume...

  • Today I've played that Blade strat at music shop. Now I want that guitar :)

  • Thanks for asking after the amp xD

  • thanks

  • wow man.

i LOVE your playing, learned alot from you.

thanks for that review too :)

  • @natan234 Thank you !

  • Bought a Blade years ago. My Blade always seemed to lack the full harmonic resonance and punchiness of a Strat. Its close at times, but not quite there. Your opinion?

  • @BiologicalUnit2380 It depends which strat and which Blade you are comparing..there are many different models at different price ranges. This is the Custom Shop hand made BCS Blade (rare model) and the Strat is an actual 65, which is one the best strats I have ever played. You can see that the BCS is not too bad compared to the real thing, that was the point of the video. Thanks !

  • 1:15 is what the blade does not have!!

    Tanks dude!

  • cant hear any vintage'nes in the blade...

  • How's the neck compared with the Strat?

  • @vicus radius is a bit flatter (10) , otherwise very comparable in width and thickness and profile ( vintage C) .

  • Nice playing, nice tone, the Blade guitar sounds really close to the good ol Fender... With some own personality. Does this model have the VCS thing?

  • @vicus nope, 100% passive.

  • Comment removed

  • Magic, man! :) Can you tell what amp are you using?

  • Thanks. The amp is a '66 Fender Vibrolux.

  • @alnicomusic thats why it sounds sooo good, lol!

  • @bluesbrother1966 yup, it is all in the metal ;)

  • Whaouhh!

Great guitars but also very great guitar playing!

    What a good video!

  • great playing dude! is the blade stock also ? ie - original pickups etc ?

  • Thanks. Yes, the Blade is 100% stock also.

  • Wonderful sounds!

    I want both of them!:D

  • wish to had they both but if i had to choose than the blade takes~

  • Very nice playing! Incredible. What a tone conniseur.Hats of to you sir.

  • Thank you very much for your kind words. Peace.

  • both very good guitars

  • sounded great man. wish i had them both!

  • Atlast a video where the blade doesnt sound like,, crap, but really good OO.

Can you maybe do a video on the blade with some overdrive?

  • I will try.

  • very nice playing! I really enjoyed it.çthe strat 65 is way better, but I really liked the blade. I am planning to buy one, I ve been offer an early 90's blade strat, with the fender headstock shape, made in switzerland, not the ones they are producing today, with the different headstock shape. yours look like one of the recent models, maybe a texas vintage 62..anyway it sounded very nice.
