The problem wth drugs is that the addict knows they are there if they are in emotional pain. Most people don't care at that moment of grief what happens to them so they fall. She mentioned her dad getting better? If we live a normal life, most people will see their parents die. Life for the most part sucks. Learn to appreciate the small things.

Teach your kids about addiction and volunteer in a shelter to show them how uncool it is. Set an example for your kids don't drink or do drugs. Drive sober and stay alive. One use could be the first route down the addiction road. It is not fun
