in my opinion this is one of the best FF i haved ever play... cuz you can choose the classes of ur 4 characters like u want at the beginig of the game =) ... Its simple, and very fun to play ..

I only play FF 1, 2 &.......... 6 ( japan number )

omega is always one of the toughest enemies in the ff games. omega mark xii(from ffxii) is EXTREMELY hard, even in the easier american of the game.

well, im level 63 and i beat him, NO SWEAT! heres how: go to the caravan in the desert, buy 99 tonics and drinks of everything, and up ur monk/b-mage/theif and up them during battle with all the drinks and tonics, while your mage (if you have one) uses invisera. this will reduce his amount of hits (and dmg) IMMENSELY! after invisera, use protera for about 25-45 turns, and he will not do shit with his attacks. also, equipping ribbons and protect rings on everybody will stop his special attacks.

(advice cont.) also, he has a weakness to lightening. just FYI. on the ribbons+rings, dont wear them all the time, just in big-time battles. btw, plz tell me what you think about YOUR strategies. i am trying a different set of units in my other file, so im open to suggestions. plz send it to my file.

That would require making a while new sprite when in reality, Square has five other games it can rip sprites from. Also, each bonus dungeon is dedicated to the bosses of one FF game.

i am a bit dissapointed in the ff remakes, cuz they should have added an optional boss that requires LV99 with the best magic and armors to be fought and still be next to impossible to beat with such stats. Challenges FTW!

Yeah. The tactics for the bosses are pretty much the same in terms of offense in this game. It varies a bit with defense, though.

With Omega, it's all about physical defense and evasion, while Shinryu is more based on magic defense.

i just fought shinryu with a knight, white wizard, ninja, and master. he was hard as hell. my levels were 67. i swear shinryu has high intelligence cuz his attacks killed me in my first try, my second, i won with 4 turns of attacks from my master. but he almost killed me the second time. now im gonna fight omega and finish the soul of chaos. and if ur playin the psp version which i am, i will be doing the Labryinth of Time dungeon.

i also meant to say that shinryu was waaay harder than omega. i fought omega today. he was easy compared to shinryu. cause his special attack did less damage than shinryu's.

Try taking him on at level 50, and you'll get that statement backwards O.o'' at that level, shinryu was definately the easier of the two because I could actually beat him.

i leveled up alot in the chaos shrine. but i have fought omega before just with a different team. and it still was hard. im in the 4th soul of chaos dungeon.

Good job. I took him out with a Knight, a Red Wizard, Ninja, and White Wizard. Personally I thought Shinryu was a bit tougher, but either way, both want to make you pull your hair out.

And when I say White Wizard, I did in fact mean Black Wizard. *grimaces* Yes, I was fighting these things without a WW. Stupid, I know...

Yeah they are both pretty tough, the only reason I thought Omega was a little more tough is because he does the group attack way more than Shinryu. Sometimes you'll get lucky and Shinryu will only hit 1 character for 600-700 instead of everyone for 500.

a really good work, i cant beat him yet, because i haven't a white wizard, i got a red wizard, i knight, a ninja, and a master, in lvl 99 (all of them), but the red wizard can't heal to all the group at the same time T_T... CONGRATULATIONS xD.

Hmmm that would be hard I guess, Red Mage doesn't have as good of healing spells...it would be hard to do it in that case, although I'm sure you could find a way
