NO, it isn't the audio, there are thousands of UTube videos featuring pipe bands that sound incredible that are taken with similar equipment. It is your chanters, they are tunned horribly. It does prove, however, that the general public have no clue as to what "good" bagpiping sounds like.

The tune is called Highland Cathedral. Written by two Germans in 1982 also called "Steh wieder auf". We play this in our pipe bands and I also play it solo for weddings, funerals, etc.

Yeah, he's not the best, but the main reason is because he didn't take lessons for very long, and since he sings he doesn't really use them often.
