BlazBlue - Rachel Combos

Can someone tell me if this game is like Guilty Gear. Because I hated Guilty Gear. The only way I can do combos on it is like spam.

I know right? It's simple. It doesn't take more than a day to do all those combos and learn a little bit of Rachel.

in combo 6  you can pull 236 B then 22 A after the umbrella then B to combo it in the air.. or do the same combo twice (6+C+D, midair C, B, 6+C+D, midair C, B) then B, C+D, C 236 B, 22 A, B in to usall air combo that finish with 236 A
