Dagmar.
@firestartertwistedfi Agreed. It's not that he's bad just very...romantic for a baroque piece. Which would be fine if the rest of the ensemble was playing the same way.
@thehobbitwaffle I think the microphone makes the violin sing. He playes so extremely boring and bored that i just wonder how he can be that famous. Don't be impressed so easily people! It may be that he has a lot more to offer but he just shits on the audience and the music here. If you would here it recorded on a normal stage without all the different cameras you wuldn't like it that much anymore. I'm quite sure
@tanjavioline *sigh* Yes, just assume I have no musical background and that I am easily impressed. Could you take your sanctimonious snobbery somewhere else? You'll find you'll rarely win a fight about something as open to interpretation as musical ability. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
can somebody explain to me what is this thing hanging from his ear? I hope ....he didn't play with his ....i-pod hanging there ( i expect everything from him ....)
This is an In-Ear-Monotoring. All the musicians in this vid, also the orchestra, have this kind of headphones so that they all can hear each other play. That's totally normal for a rock/crossover concert :)
@MyGreecegirl In his ear he heres the other musicians and himself on stage. On such a stage with so much microphones you otherwise don't here yourself and the others in real time any more.
