  • Wow man big help!

  • Adding weight to one blade is only part of the solution. The weight must be applied to the location along the length of the blade to match the opposing blade's center of gravity. Therefore, after you identify the lighter blade, place a pen/pencil on a flat surface and balance each blade individually to locate their center of gravity and mark it. Place the two blades side by side and use the center marks to determine which end of the blade gets the weight..

  • You can also use very fine sandpaper to remove material from the heavy blade, in this way you'll loose weight rather than adding it . I have been balancing airplane propellers like this for years.

  • You are so ingenius! Thanks so much for the easy trick!

  • this is gay

  • What kind of cam are you using? Good angle, good shooting. Keep up the good work! 5*

  • thanks bro these little tuning tips help alot since I am a begginer. I hope you post more little fine tuning tips in the future

  • man i just love your cx2 videos, subscribed :)

  • What kind of problems does this address? Does it help with fishbowling?

  • if might help a small amount with fishbowling..but for the most part it reduced vibiration.

  • I'll give that a try. Well done video.

  • does it matter alot? cause i might try it out

  • yes it matters..after you do it you will relize your heli fliying much better.

  • thnx dude. i just had a really bad blade strike and am going to buy more blades tomorrow. The flybar broke off and shattered 3 blades... this will be helpful

  • wow... i didn't know that... but won't the tape effect the flight?

  • nope.. the tape makes your flight even more stable :)

  • Hey, GREAT video! Thanks so much! I had a TERRIBLE time with shaking after a MAJOR crash, not knowing, of course, that when you replace the blades they have to be a MATCHED pair since they are numbered. Once I changed them to the same "number" the thing flew beautifully smooth. I'm going to check the balance of the other blades to make sure!

  • Thanx for that! I've got exactly the same blades on my Chinook copter, but they are so damn fragile (I'm a really crap pilot)...are there more sturdy blades available in the US?

  • im not really sure, because the only blades i have uaed are the CX2 kind. you can try a set of Extream blades, those might be stronger. good luck!

  • your pretty clever!!! :D nice work!!!

  • thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

  • will this effect the air worthy-ness of the heli

  • yes it will, but in a good way. it makes the heli fly much better in the air.

  • nice!!

  • thanks! how it comming with the CX2 you want to get?

  • well every time i say i want to buy 1 my mom gives me a whole speech about how i could have 1 if i got better grades

  • well then try harder in school and show that you deserve one
