  • How much does she charge? I was thinking of going into the equine massage field, but this might be more lucrative.

  • You mean horses actually respond to legitimate training? ...WHOA! No way!

  • 80% success rate? Boo.

  • i would love to see how Dr Jeannine would teach a horse that kicks to pick up its feet and hwo to overcome agressive defensive behaviour ? i thought that was a great video

  • Can someone give me Dr.Jeannine Burger's number plz...

  • This video only shows a small sample of what Dr. Burger does...if you saw her in action for yourself you wouldn't be making negative comments. The report doesn't really do her justice because she works with so many more complicated situations than just this.

  • i am a farrier and i have a lot of people ask me to help them with vaccinations. i teach the horse to relax and bend his nose to me when i lightly pinch his neck. this creates a released muscle instead of a static one, meaning a shot will hurt less. he learns pressure means he needs to relax. it takes only a session and gets better and better every time you do it. i've been able to vaccinate horses that have had to be twitched

  • ??? This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen!! The horse took 3 weeks to be distracted by feed? The Dr. needs to watch Clinton Anderson and fix the problem permanently in 30 min with no feed needed!

  • I am with you on the training versus treat part, I was really anticipating being impressed, but was sadly disappointed. She didn't do one thing that impressed me over Clinton or anyone else for that matter.

  • If grain works why not use it for a distraction while giving shots. Unlike trailer trainning where you can load and unload them daily until they are relaxed and comfortable with it, with vaccinations you can'nt just keep poking them until they are ok with it.

  • She wasn't tempting (i.e. bribing) the horse...she was rewarding the horse for appropriate behavior USING leadership, comfort, and safety. No bribing.

  • She wasn't a horse shrink, she just gave the horse food.

Horses look for comfort, safety and leadership before anything else.

That's why the whole temping a horse into a big dark horse trailer with a bucket of food isn't very convincing. =\
