@truthtone58 well Purdue had lost 5 straight games coming into this game and no one thought we could score more than 10 points and hold the Buckeyes to under 20 points.

Plus it was the first time since either 2003 or 2004 that Purdue had beaten a ranked team and a team with a winning record. It was a huge victory for Purdue and thus deserving a rushing of the field.

@dxdude2004 I don't quite understand what you mean by that, but history has nothing to do with it. On the field mania is pretty rare in college. Teams that win at home in big games celebrate on the field and the fans stay put, and don't go crazy. A few have but for the most part, this w/ a total stampede, like the last game forever.

@kentamitchell Even though OSU did win that big they still didn't look like a number 1 team to me this year. I guess they are not. They have fell off with the great running game. Purdue has put some decent QB's in the pros. It's admirable.
