Scenes like this makes the reason for Marlena's !Killing" so much more stupid.. Yeah. She clearly still loves Roman, and thats why she says all that stuff to John. URGH" ARGH!

Some of the lines here are exactly representative of what the whole John and Marlena history was built on. Once she fell in love with him, she didn't care who he was, what his name was, or what was in his past. Even Roman became an after thought. And John knows in his heart that it is that love of Marlena's that made him who he is. The existed for each other. I HAVE to beleive he will be back. Back to Marlena where he belongs.

Absolutely! I am looking forward to Marlena seeking her revenge on Stefano to pay him back for years of evil torture, but it will HAVE to wrap up with a reunion with John. It HAS to! Marlena said it best, their love story has 'no end' right? If DAYS has to end (as predicted) in a year or two, John Black has got to return to Marlena. Deidre and Drake were fabulous together from Day 1! Get Drake back NOW!

Roman was dead and gone when that hooker of a wife slept with a drugged up John. And Marlena didn't let herself be stolen, she went to him willingly because that's who she wanted.

I believe that. I ship Jarlena, and they are meant to be together. But it doesn't change the fact that he took both Marlena and Kate from Roman.

He didn't take Kate from Roman though. He didn't want Kate, he was a drug addict, so as much as I despised John during that, I can't agree that he did. He didn't want to be with Kate.

And the second John knew Marlena was alive, Kate was nothing more than someone he belived had helped him. She didn't get him clean. The writing didn't have him having any feelings for her post that.

Good dialogue in these scenes. Love the nods to their actual history.
And John's dialogue - "I wasn't anything until I met you. In fact I count that day as the day I was born."
It really shows the basic elements of their relationship. Marlena loves John no matter who he is. And John considers Marlena his lifeline.
