gawd for people with recurrent canker sores... have you all been tested for celiac disease? Canker sores like that are usually an indication of celiac or some other malasorbtion issue. Go to the doctor and get the screening blood test done.

Yeah it's caused by a lot of things, such as stress, biting your lip, tongue, etc. allergies, virus infection, and oral hygene like what L2 said. I have one right now, and I mixed 1/2 tsp of salt with 6 oz of warm water, it actually helps since the salt burns the core, and the warm water helps reduce the pain. Doing this will make it heal faster since the core will be gone, and you will feel less pain. Worked for me :D

Actually you're wrong buddy, herpes is on, or near the genital of a person. Another type of herpes is called COLD SORES, which are on the outside of the mouth. The ones on the outside of the mouth are not made from sexual activity, they just randomly pop up. The ones inside the mouth are called canker sores, or ulcers. You are wrong buddy.

Ok, if you want to cure you canker sore and or cold sore here is what you have to do.

Go to Walmart pharmacy and buy:

1) Fish oil

2) calcium tablets

3) lysine

4) selenium

5) tooth paste without sodium lauryl sulfate

Take them as dietary supplement every day. Follow the recommended dosage. I suffered with these sores way too long. Now I want everyone to know how to cure and prevent them. Everything in this list can be found over the counter. It wont be long until you sores disappear.
