Happy Valentine! Generally it is the other way; say vegetarian is invited for a Thanksgiving, Xmas dinner BBQ or such. Then you have an option; honor the house, give in and have what others have, or be content with turkey staffing and gravy, which both can be considered semi-vegetarian.

Purists will likely criticize both approaches. We live in material world, so will only strive.

In meantime I learnt to be grateful for the efforts of hosts.

Nice gravy! :) It's interesting how you added the flour to the onions and garlic....essentially making a roux out of them before adding the broth!
