I <3 this song, today I was in church and the priest was reading and he said we needed to be cured and all i could think of was how everyones perfect and it's now fair for the church to say that people who wear black a lot and listen to music like this need to be cured. Well I "use" too be Christian Catholic. Now i'm Athesit, and i'm proud too be one. Im christian, but to be honest, the black veil brides are one thing that i CANNOT give up because i feel that their songs could be looked at, through a religious perspective. This song really describes my religious beliefs I don't personally believe in god. However, I believe in an afterlife and spirits. I have Christian friends though. Everyone think of it like this .. If this so called 'God' was there for us , I sure as hell aint seen him . Where was he when me and my parents had to live on the streets ? Or when I was being raped and abused ? Where was he when I watched to love of my life die !? All my life I was raised religious and I would pray and pray for things to get better , but I would still never know when or if I was going to eat again . Im christian, but to be honest, the black veil brides are one thing that i CANNOT give up because i feel that their songs could be looked at, through a religious perspective. I love god and the black veil brides. They both got me through some pretty hard shit. Although I dont dress the way they do, I was always an unpopular person, with only a couple close friends.
