Hi Gregor, had a look at your site, didn't realise you had such a back catalogue. This is perhaps a tricky question for a musician, but which of your own work would you recommend? I really enjoy your playing and would like to buy an album.
How do you compare your '66 Vibrolux Reverb with this '64 Deluxe Reverb sound-wise? It is hard to find reliable opinion on the internet and, since I am considering one of the two, your perspective would be helpful to several people beyond just myself. Thanks
The Vibrolux is bigger, has 6L6 Tubes, so it is fuller sounding more headroom, the Deluxe Rev. is a sweet thing when you can cranc it up, but does not has the clean headroom
1965 Super Reverb is where its at. I have owned the 65 Twin The Deluxe And and the Vibrolux.. All Reissues of couse but in my opnion the Super Reverb Stumps them all! it was my last and final choice!!
that teddy bear near the amp bust have hearing difficulty...he really wants to hear that tone ;)
