who sang "i am a mole and i live in a hole" its a 60's song,i think it was a black group that sang it,it was so funny when i first heard it,i almost fell over luffing, would love to get a recording of it,but i dont no who sung it,hope you can help with this.
Sally-- I've been a fan of your work since forever and I have to know; Are you still working in flash? I feel like (for your animation style especially) Flash is the closest thing to cel animation... I'm dying to see more of your beautiful work. (I've been working in flash since I was 12-- around 9ish years ago--)
@Whinebitchmoan Thanks for your nice comments. I do like Flash but it's always hard to get the drawing line quite right and always too easy to do a shape tween instead of animating it. Going thru a non creative period right now. Stay with your Flash work!
I think this was pretty cool, like the song. It looks like one of your first times using flash. I really love your style. Do you usually make your animations the traditional way or do you use toonboom or some other animation software?
Flash is the only animation software I've used. I'm more comfortable with Flash code than using it for animation, but it's just so freeing after all those THOUSANDS of cels I drew and inked and painted long ago.
Your animation has always been therapeudic for me. I've always suffered from severe swings into dark depression. Your work lifts me up when I'm there and helps me gets through until the sun shines again. It's ironic to me that this song is about saying goodbye to the nite owl.
You mean like, in a fog? in a bathtub? Or in Flash-- that's what I'm using. This one only took two weeks. Since it's all for youtube, I don't get fussy about it.
Oh completely awesome.. love the contrast and the bluesey cool glow of the background. I don't see this much black in animation usually so its very unique... of course... and you are right the song
is mysterious 6/4 chord progression haunting. Fave part? Those sassy so-long hearts at the end. Nice one! Made my day fer sure!

This reminds me of a sad version of "I LOVE TO SING-A ABOUT THE MOON-A AND THE JUNE-A AND A-SPRING-A"

beware of those dark depressions. The lyrics to this song are definitely odd.

The color changes and the background colors make me feel happy and peaceful at the same time.
