I guess, the audience and judges are on the lookout for unique and novel themes which have never been done before and which are also executed perfectly. No matter how great these batches interpret the same oft-repeated themes, they will have a hard time winning over another batch that has a better and more unique theme and where all the elements in the cheering competition have been executed in a near-perfect or perfect manner.

The Cuatro Supremo had their time last year to revel in their victory with a complete sweep at that of all the awards! Now, it's Alab Senyores' time. The victory is made sweeter 'cause this batch has endured three years of drought of cheering awards. They rightfully deserved to get this year's championship and a sweep of all the major and minor awards, save for one. :)
@theriellestrada I'm sorry for the long post. I just don't want to see Augustinians all divided just because of a cheering competition. Let's not hate but appreciate. Let's not begrudge the Alab Senyores of their much deserved win. It's their winning time and we should be happy for them. For the lower batches, you all did great, too. And when you all will leave your CSA home after graduation, be remembered as a batch who set a good example for the lower batches to emulate - a batch who is united, humble in times of both defeat and victory, and most of all, a batch who lives these words - All for God. :)
