  • Wow, this is actually pretty cool.

  • dude when does english version coem out? beeen waiting SOOO LONG

  • This game makes my dick ROCK HARD (Ego-raptor Reference)

  • pretty cool!

  • Can you translate this to English please.

  • @MrTechnova B&S combat system is a lot better than Tera.B&S is no point and click mmo.since its auto-target,in combat you will use the mouse just for the right click to move the camera.you can also use the arrow keys so that you don't have to use the mouse in combat or in environment movement at all.only to interact with NPC's and players, like group, trade etc

  • @alteredoptions aside the graphics, which they are not as good as B&S.,B&S owns Vindictus in everything.its combat system cannot reach B&S..you can block,parry,push-kick to cancel their block, ecape from Aerial, knowckdown or Choke, you can return skill to the caster and stun him etc etc..B&S combat system is close to reality than any other mmo right now

  • @ironhenge7 you don't need free trial to try the game.thats why cbt's-obt's are for

you are right it is not slow, only at beginning.and its kinda slow so you get used to its gameplay.med-high lvl's its a lot more fast paced, since you have lots of skills

in this game we will see for real who has skills and who doesn't.there are no dagger classes that hit for 6k+ with their 2-3sec cd skills, like in Lineage2.also there are no healers.i suggest people to give this game a chance

  • @VrynesRequiem B&S combat system is really close to reality and that is a lot more fun than button mashing.also at 15lvl training system starts and you you get 1 point per lvl to use them in tree skill.depending where you add points you unlock new combos, and new skills or you you strengthen your current skill(not by dmg as far as i know),by getting bonus fighting points,or a stun to last longer,or you can strengthen passives.for more info bladeandsoulwiki[dot]com/Training_System

  • @VrynesRequiem nop its not button masheing like Lineage2,and i'm happy for that.no more Hydro,Hydro,Hydro,Hydro or those F1 spammer Archers.B&S combat system requires a lot of skills, since classes are really balance, and no one is hitting for 6k-10k like Treasure Hunter in L2..also you need to have your eyes open to see what skill your opponent is using so that you counter attack, like block, parry etc etc.and the best of all?no fucking healers.no more relying on 2-3 healers to own

  • can you play blade and soul if you are from europa and how? do you download it and make a account and wat website?

  • Please be button mashing game . Would take way more skill and would be so much funner.

  • this game is..so awesumm..the fights looks epic

  • this game is going to be p2p.

  • This looks very slow, choppy, and simple. This better be free lolz

  • @ironhenge7 man...you are an idiot...i guess you dont read what is say or?....it looks slow cuz it have to be slow...they are showing combat system so they made it slow so you could understand it

  • @MrKifon I could be wrong, but this does not appear to be in any kind of slow motion at all. I will try this game out but I doubt I will go past the free trial stage ;)

  • @ironhenge7 i dont think there will be any free trial stage T-T:..maybe in korea but i think when it comes to EU it will be open beta or full game already

  • @MrKifon Free trial, like a 10-14 day free trial ;)

  • @ironhenge7 i know what you mean...but i dont think there will be any

  • @ironhenge7 but u had said in ur later post that it was so u changed ur mind?

  • @FulbusterGray What?

  • is this game free to play ?

  • So the combat system is that of a fighting game like Tekken?

  • @alteredoptions I don't know what ur smoking but vindictus doesn't have nothing on this game. Only thing I have seen on par with this game is the graphics

  • And then there's Tera Onine, if they can implement action combat with a large persistant world with no lag why not blade and soul? Blade and Soul is just a revamp of tradintional point and click mmos, I admit the game looks great though.

  • vindictus looks a lot better; the graphics, the realistic fighting, the storyline, dialogue, AND THE BLOOD! Yeah, so i'm not gonna wait for this grindfest to come out.

  • @alteredoptions i don't know what ur talking about this game beats vindictus in graphics any day.

  • @alteredoptions I got bored with vindictus after a few days of fun then ... it's getting boring ... it's not a open world mmo. with this new game u can run+jump+ glide+ fly :D... be more open mind and try the game before passing judgement .

  • So basically you can spam the same key over and over but different skill for every time you hit the key... PVP in this game game will be so dam epic and at least fighting some one your same class will wont be using the same skills over and over and the one who knows what they doing will be the winner EPIC!!!! cant wait!!!

  • where to dowload ..?

  • lol - when MOUNTING an opponent certain SKILLS are switched to ;-)

  • Is this game even out? I cant find a download Link anywhere ._.

  • Everyone pls just ignore the troll(valkour22) and downvote his posts then no one else will have to be bothered with reading his BS.

  • damn freaking epic

  • This skill system is the best ive ever seen, i see that the nscoft focused on the gameplay and the characteristicks so well, thumbs up on the video!

  • I like this system its easy and simple and still makes the game look so friggin epic ;D

  • looks like that crappy game aion lolol

  • @valkour22 Stop complaining and find another game that suits your interest. You're just a tard here.

  • @raisen052000 A TARD???LOLOL. YOU SOME KINDA FAG LOLOL?

  • @raisen052000 OMG This game is going to be console too lololol. What a joke. Another final fantasy rip off lolol

  • @valkour22 Grow up kid.

  • @animelovingfreak grow up and play a real game, instead of a cartoon game with crap graphics

  • @valkour22 Kids like you shouldn't be playing games, go back and study brat.

  • @valkour22 Define "Real Game" and "Not Cartoonish" Oh god i hope you don't say WoW. But this game doesn't look cartoonish compared to other MMO's out there and the graphics are well done. All i can think about is, your a troll. Why else would you simply state a negative comment, just to troll and make drama. Ha.

  • @valkour22 your crapy that' why your on youtube like the rest of us dumbass

  • @StryderDX na im here cause SOE is down.

  • Best Action MMO, but no English Version... T_T

  • this is completely amazing. combat system is 100 times better than other mmos.

  • I'm noticing a lot of comments fixated on individual systems and not understanding the bigger picture.

Note how the cooldowns are minimal, if they even exist at all. Note the number of abilities you can execute at any single given point in time. Then compare that to *any other MMO on the market*. You will quickly notice that you have unprecedented amounts of freedom relative to those MMOs, ESPECIALLY EQ or WoW-derivatives.

Creating your own style is hardly out of the question here.

  • I love this system :)

  • This looka alright. But the best game I've ever played was Dragon Nest Jp. Can't wait for the U.S release (providing that it won't get screwed up).

  • so are actions are kinda controlled? is that what they are telling me.. we cant figure out our own combos and fight with our own personal style and skill, doesnt that mean everyones gonna be fighting the same way?

  • 1:39 - 1:44 that's what me and my friends call disrespectful.

  • This game is going to take the PvP system to a whole new level.

  • @ grubba

Not sure where you're getting the "Auto-aim" business. it's not. You have to be facing the enemy in order to fight. Also there are combos in the game using the skills you see in the HUD. Lastly, isn't there a rule at Nexon that you shouldn't post about competitive products?

  • aww boo hoo dont play it troll

  • how do you select your skills? does it just choose what ur gonna use?

  • @zama59 I think they are set in hot keys and curtain skill pop up depending on condition like distance and probably stamina or something like that in game.

  • lol this games pretty crazy

  • This game looks Beautiful! ... wait.. To Beautiful o.0 ... OMG Lag D:

  • The game is much faster than it seems, this is the demo, the guy playing is going slow so you can see what he's doing... If it were a real gamer there would be strafing and much faster reaction times lol

  • not bad, i wonder what took so long for someone do something like this than the usual "have 1000 buttons in your interface each one for a single skill! good luck!"

any game that focus on gameplay rather than being artificially hard because you don't have 7 fingers on each hand sounds good to me

  • is this a pc game,??

  • @cpx326 PC/PS3 sony had just signed the rights to the game not too long ago..

  • This game uses soft targeting and skill/spell combos as opposed to click combos. Vindictus and DCU use similar systems except Vindi has hitboxes and TEENY TINY instances. DCU uses click combos, but has hard targeting options too.

There is no perfect game yet because calculating projectiles, weapon swings etc is infeasible in an open world environment. Keep waiting, it'll get here.

  • Just wanted to say to all u ppl going, i hate this and that, i wanted something else, yadde yadde yadde..... IN YOUR FACE :D

  • the AI looks kinda stupid though....oh well at least the graphics are cool

  • Sorry to disappoint you kiddies but the reality is that a lot of things have to be automated or stringed together. Such things as lag and people with lower connection speeds makes it hard to cater to all the people who can't help but play with what they have. To try to make a game much like a fighting game within a extremely detailed world there would be imbalance issues due to latency and ping making many not want to play because someone beat them up because they had a faster connection.

  • @Kazuma1982 thats a good thing i hate lag in games but i dont mind if the do this in order to rpevent ikt

  • @Kazuma1982 Maybe no one informed you that you don't really need a fast connection to play MMORPGS. I could theater my phone to DAoC for example and the connection barley ran Chrome, but ran DAoC just fine while I was PvPing, no one complained about me lagging. So as long as you have a stable connection you will not need a fast one to play mmorpgs. And as for hardware well thats getting pretty damn cheap, a smart individual who buys PC parts from a custom shop spends maybe 350-600$ for a good PC

  • @Kazuma1982 and Don't get me wrong I know you can spend more. I spend around 1200 on mine but thats just because I could. A lot of stuff in this game is done manually from what I understand. for example, blocking, parrying, and attacking. So it should be quite the interesting experience.

  • @Kazuma1982 Everything you said is true, but, if we keep doing stuff for older technology how are games supposed to evolve?

  • @Kazuma1982 Yeah they don't give a fuck about quality. All they want is a huge population so they can pump profits out of you. I wish there were exclusive VIP mmo games with very high system requirements that can go all out on the graphics and gameplay without being limited.

  • @Amp1tude

hope you have fun playing on neraly empty worldservers

  • @PANDEAD2 I actually would

  • So many hater cry babies here lmao. This game is awesome, deal with it.

  • Omg this is almost like Aion.... Big waste

  • @ZeroPublicX aion is just a project to finance blade and soul

  • free to play?

  • This is a beautiful game, but the auto targeting should just assist fighting like in dmc but still able to fight many enemies at once, but this game your stuck fighting one enemy, so getting mobbed you're practically dead like in every other mmo, the destoryer has the most aoe skills so they can kill mobs of enemies they have that unfair advantage like with most classes , other classes will have a few aoe skills but with a cooldown not fast enough for you to survive, typical, nothing really new

  • @MrTechnova check out some other videos - there is one where u can see how targeting works, u can attack multiple enemys (class blader) one after another, switching targets fast.

  • holy shit that is so awesome.

  • OH MY FUCKING GOOOOOSH O-O

  • Blade and Soul will not be free to play to dispel any myths out there.

  • ich hoffe ja nur das das spiel auch auf deutsch kommt ^^

  • when this game comes out who wants to party up with me in some next gen beautiful kick ass world?

  • looks great;D

  • Finally new B&S Info, been waiting what feels like a lifetime for this game to even come close to a release. May just be getting a new PC to run this beauty of a game, may yet restore my joy for MMORPGS yet!

  • aww :( i though u can do left and right mouse click combos to devastate ur enemys T_T

  • @Ostrid1 i love more the game being automatic!!!

  • @criss0906 what ! nooo

all onlines are automatic :( its too easy!

  • @Ostrid1 so you want to do click-pointing, I hate those games, the auto aim makes it much more action like

  • @cyborgchimpy i hate click point

i want action arcade style beat em up!

  • @cyborgchimpy i hate click point

i want action arcade style beat em up!

u know like god of war and stuff :D

  • @Ostrid1 play tera online then.

  • @biomon898 i felt my life drain just watching a video of that XD

  • 1 word to describe it ..............AWESOME!

  • I thought this game was going to be more like Tekken in an mmo. a bit let down that its auto-targeted, but the combat look different enough to still check it out 2011/2012.whenever ncsoft decide to bring it to ncwest. Its more based on timing combos blocks and counters then just target > 1324 dead Theres just soo many unknowns right now to say if its bad or not. How big is the world?[instanced world?]/pvp?/gear?/ questsvsgrind. Ofcoarse it all comes down to playing the finish product

  • @bl3ach23

So you basically want to juggle your opponents mindlessly...

Yeah, they made a wise decision not going with Tekken gameplay

  • @Ghostlywolf sure...'cause a gameplay based on auto targeting system requires real effort,uh. Look, anything closer to real time gameplay is more enjoyable than this clunky stuff. And both kind of gameplay requiere the same basic skill: timing. Take Dragon Nest as an example, crappy graphics but nice action...and f2p. You' ll see B&S on a lot of pservers, no point spend money over this game for months to get crap action.

  • @accountnumuno ,

auto-targeting allows complex 1on1 fights. Make it without targeting and what you get is a bunch of spamming/hack and slashing, and worse of all the AI will be blocking/parrying/and evading your attacks.

How will you react to a scenario where you're slashing 3 soldiers and 1 of them evades, the other one blocks you, and the other one parries your attack?

^That's what you get when you don't implement a targeting system. You get no depth, just hack and slashing.

  • @accountnumuno

Without targeting the AI has to be dumbed down so that you can't get scenarios where each mob has a mind of its own.

1on1 targeting allows for AI there an actual challenge to fight.

And why auto? Faster fighting, if you have to to keep hitting tab to cycle through mobs that just slows down everything. Auto targeting here works by just facing the mob you want to fight, faster and appropriate.

But hey, instead of hating go play TERA. You can hack and slash all day.

  • @Ghostlywolf No, for more reasons: games are becoming easier and easier every year (especially if they are developed for consoles), to the point the only hard games are the online ones. Things changed for mmos since 2008 when mmo devs chosen the f2p way, which basically means they must appeal different kind of players. Infact to set grinding on hard is quite stupid. What should be hard is pvp. That said, why is B&S p2p? Because it will come out even on console (consoles are sold for cheap, so

  • @accountnumuno games' price is high). And if it comes out for console, it's not going to give headaches to players. Infact autotargeting system gives a lot of time to attack, no wonder why there are a lot stun skills. 1on1 is lazy development meant for those who can't focus over a single enemy, tha'ts why is 1on1. Also, watch out from nowadays p2p games. Oriental market is way more focused on f2p games, so there the possibility B&S is a game meant for instant cash. Like Aion, some said...

  • that doesnt mean this game isnt going to be fun all the greatest mmos were based on auto targeting anyways. Everyone wants next gen graphics i mean look at how great skills look like, it doesnt even make u wonder why they didnt give 2 shits about targeting system. The game looks perfectly fine and stable, what other game do u see that allows u to go in a short cinematic fight scenes lettting u press down keys to finish them off in a fancy ass way.

  • @accountnumuno also aion is a fun game to alot of people play it. Why do u care wat others say? go try out the game urself cause the entire game is really diverse and u actually have to work hard to get to higher levels. They also have pets on the site now but also in game which are better, so i dont see how they would want to make charge into ur wallet.I dont see how a gd game shud be free, it only means corruption and abuse to the amount of morons who cant afford to pay to play for gd games.

  • @awais142 i think you proved some of my points

  • @accountnumuno

    /facepalm,

Have you ever played Devil May Cry? That's almost how B&S will be. DMC is based on auto-targeting for a reason, it allows for a complex battle system in which you can massacre your opponent.

When you don't use a targeting system what happens is that the came turns into a hack and slash game where there is barely any strategy other than spamming attacks and dodging.

  • @Ghostlywolf lol. Look you just don't know what you are talking about since your first post. I' ve a cold and no time arguing on the stuff you invented.bb

  • @accountnumuno

That's the best response you can come up with? I could just say the same to you and walk away. You're the one who has no idea about fighting systems. But feel free to play your simple hack and slash games. Spamming 1 1 1 all day.

  • @Ghostlywolf Actually, i explained my points with facts. You kept babbling 'cause you taken it personally and you are still avoiding the point about real time combat. You skip timing and say "it's almost like dmc" while the video itself is a proof agaisnt your point. Look...it way more satisfying when you and your char hit at the same time. Not when you give a command and watch the outcome. Simple as that. Asking about a response? No need. You don't have arguments.

  • @accountnumuno

Wait, you actually think this is not real-time? wow, and hear I thought you were just joking.

  • @Ghostlywolf You were talking about it as if the timing was really responsive to reflexes, while you forgot about skills' downtime. Which pretty much makes your arguments invalid

  • @accountnumuno

Trying swinging a sword without cooldown and see how long you actually last. There's no way your character (in any game that isn't hack and slash) will keep hacking and slashing at will.

And if the game wasn't real time there wouldn't be real-time combos. Oh guess what? There are real-time combos when you combine these skills.

  • @Ghostlywolf yea, i know about real time. And yea, that's more or less why b&s is very far from a game dmc. gj

  • @accountnumuno

You must be either blind or just trolling. Watch some vids and educate yourself. There's a 14 minute demonstration from G-Star2010 where they show the real time combat in all its glory.

But since I know you're trolling just go back to where you came from, probably a fanboy of some other MMO.

  • Comment removed

  • @Ghostlywolf dude, i know what's real time combat.

"Trying swinging a swor........ at will."

And this is you finally realizing your arguments are invalid

"But since I know you're trolling just go back to where you came from, probably a fanboy of some other MMO."

and you without arguments telling others to educate and calling them trolls.pls. I've never said this is not real time combat. I said you skip the timing point....dhu

  • @accountnumuno

    You're still missing the point.

What you're boiling it down to is that you want "moves that respond to my reflexes." In other words what you want is a hack and slasher.

Let's take fighting games for example, moves have an animation, to follow up with more attacks you've gotta allow the last animation to follow through. Some classes can do this faster than others. Have you the 14 minute walkthrough by Teambloodlust? There you will see that everything is real time and responsive,

  • @Ghostlywolf The only 14 mins long vid i've found is a demo about B&S. There's nothing responsive but selecting a skill from a menu. It's very far from the dmc (which is an hack n slash game) kind of combat you were talking about. What i was talking about is timing and there's a lot of time to select a skill. Which is boring compared to any other hack n slash games like vindictus or dragon nest. Your reply doesn't make sense at all.

  • @accountnumuno

You don't select skills from a menu, you press the corresponding buttons for that skill (you can make pretend the skills list isn't there if you want). You don't select a skill to use, you yourself use the skill at will.

It's like street fighter, just because they list the skills you can use in training mode doesn't mean that you're actually selecting the skill, you're PERFORMING the skill yourself. The skills list is just there to show you the corresponding button for that skil

  • @Ghostlywolf "you're PERFORMING the skill yourself" the demo is enough is enough to make your point invalid. select the enemy, select the skill....

  • @accountnumuno

You're probably looking at another game then. I see skills here which you yourself perform and combo into in real time.

  • @accountnumuno

wow! Did you just call DMC a hack n slash? wow lol. Says a lot about how little you know about combat systems. DMC is a target based action game in which you can combo multiple skills together.

Hack n slash = Vindictus and TERA where you just match the same 3-4 at multiple enemies without worrying about getting countered, parried, and even combo'd.

  • @Ghostlywolf lol wolf. Type dmc+ hack n slash on google. ;]

  • @accountnumuno

I could type "Soul Calibur hack n slash" and google would find something for it. That's what google does, find results for any words you type. There's bound to be misinformation out there. They're probably tracking your misinformation about blade and soul right now.

  • @Ghostlywolf wolf, it's useless. Try wikiepdia then. Hack n slash Section-> dmc series. Even Graham Gough said Bayonetta was a part of the hack n slash genre. And Kamiya worked on both. Are we done?

  • @accountnumuno

Dude you know which type of hack n slash I'm talking about. I'm talking about the mindless hack n slash where you just press 1 or 2 buttons without regard to what the enemy is doing. That's how TERA and Vindictus are. You don't have to worry 'bout the enemy actually parrying or countering your attack, you can just button mash and win the fight. Sure it takes some evading but there's nothing complex about those two games.

  • @Ghostlywolf tera never appealed me to the point it makes me want to play it, but in vindictus you actually pair. There are classes meant for specific kind of combat...spear lanns are meant to evade, sword lanns to survive (thnx to their dodging skills), fiona dodge and counter attack with her shield, Karok...well. And vindictus has a targeting system too. Also as i stated all games meant for consoles are easy, B&S won't be an exception. I looked for B&S action button interface: basically

  • @accountnumuno you have to push some buttons. You don't have control of your char. For example, when you pair, the action buttons will change showing some skills. I didn't know about that, but now that i know too we can say is not that different from selecting a skill. Push those buttons and watch: you can't control your char in air, you are not free to evade, you can't attack a mob unless you select it. It's the same old story of the player that feels stuck by the auto targeting system

  • @accountnumuno

I dare you find status effects suck as knock downs and dizzy in Vindictus or TERA. There are non it's based on who can hack n slash faster and the usual evade.

What I find hilarious is that you still think that the player not performing the moves in this game. You don't select them, you perform them. The skill thumbnails are there as reference of the attacks YOU can perform. If it wasn't real time they'd just let you click on the thumbnails to let the CPU play for you.

  • @accountnumuno this will be free too D:

  • @Ostrid1 On private server, on pc, yes:]

  • @accountnumuno true. you do have good point there.

  • @accountnumuno actually Dragons Nest doesnt really have bad scenery graphics. Though, character models are crap.

  • @TehEneko that applies only on melee attacks and that's somwthing requiem bloodymare or anything with such atuto targeting system has;]

  • @accountnumuno actually Dragons Nest doesnt really have bad scenery graphics. Though, character models are crap. Also, this games combat is pritty new. Its not a tab target, its basically focus type auto target. You have to face them to be able to target the monster. You dont click anything to target them besides face them. Its like focusing, you set your eyes on it, and face it.

  • @accountnumuno I don't mind them using auto-target. Sure games like TERA Online requiring skill, will be more of a challenge. But in the long run this game will be much more fun. They have some insane ideas/concepts. Not to mention this is also coming for ps3.

  • @TakeOnNE1 don't know why you replied ro me, but the fact (if what you stated is correct) this game is meant to be console game is a VERY BAD thing. Why should i pay each month for a pc port? Look, don't mind me, i'll play something else.

  • @accountnumuno

You're a complete moron to equate "free targeting" with fun-factor. '

So is, for that matter, every single moron who upvoted your post. I feel worse for humanity every time I read these Youtube comments....

  • @Zyrusticae "i have no arguments but i'm a fanboy and i'm going to make you and the entire humanity look like asses so i win trololol", pls

  • @accountnumuno

I don't have to argue anything. Your own lack of intelligence saw to that.

Free targeting = better = moron-speak. Fighting games like Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Tekken, etc. do not possess free-targeting (you are ALWAYS facing your opponent) and yet they somehow manage to be engaging experiences. HMMM!

  • @Zyrusticae No, you are the retard here who doesn't even get what i'm talking about. Both dmc and wow have the same targeting system but one is meant to deliver combos while the other one to deliver automated skills. And that's why most of the people judge wow as crap while it's a great game, yet the action is still crap after 71 lvls. Because action is what we TALKED about 4 MONTHS AGO. "HMMM!".....

  • idk it looks to much like aion with counter

  • How can you like / dislike a game that's not even released yet.. :p

  • @paul90kor i never said its a "mash one button" game. And the wich game is better than the other is more of personal taste than anything else.

Im just pointing out my frustration because (just my opinion) i grew tired of "kill by menu" games. I like to hit the attack button and hit the monster if i did it right and not if the game calculated my atk rate vs monster def rate and decided if i hit or not.

Again, just my 2 cents, if i will actually like B&S or not i think its a bit too early to tell

  • i thought blade&soul would be like vindictus and tera, games taht make your skill count.but its will be just another "auto-aim kill monsters by the menu mmo". i am disappoint =[

  • @grubba2000 How so? There are elements such as dodge, block, counter and you will have more than one choice of chaining combos. This isn't just mash one button game. For all I know it is going to be better than vindictus and tera.

  • @paul90kor B&S is AWESOME I love it, but it is a Martial Arts game, Tera isnt, so no point comparing both games. The game style and game-play is different.

  • @grubba2000 i feel the same. auto-target do not want.

  • @grubba2000 auto-targeting is for camera assistance and enemy tracking assistance it's It's nothing like Vindictus or Tera or Wow for that matter.

  • @grubba2000 It's actually very similar to vindictus. All Auto-aim does is lock-on for ranged attacks so you don't miss. It's also similar to vindictus in that you can only use some skills after attacking a few times, like a combo. In my opinion, this is better than vindictus, though.

  • @grubba2000 They should make a MMO like Demon's Souls, that would be tough!

  • @grubba2000 arent they all like that? i mean, wow is like that

  • @grubba2000 i really fail to see how the bars changing automatically for you and putting up skills which you have already determined yourself for that situation stops you from having skill. it only saves you the trouble of having to change the bar by pressing one button
