The audio commentaries are definitely worth it. I've listened to every one of them, and they are all gems, especially the ones with John DiMaggio and Billy West.

i'm 15 years old, and litrally it was 10 days ago when i got very obssessed with futurama!!! i started the series when i was 6, but watch few episodes with my older brother, it wasn't a big thing to my life nor did i find it funny.
then i was 11 and found out the vastness of the internet, meaning watching stuff. i watched a few episodes of it and only enjoyed watching it. i saw yet again only a few episodes
now, only ten days ago, i was very bored and went on surf the channel. i saw futrama season six in the front page and i was like, wow, futuramas finally back (i did some research past years) so i watched season 6 episode 2, and fully understood every joke and loved it, i watched previous episodes, and not 1 episode can't make me ROFLMAO.
i watched the latest episode and thought it was amazing.
i love the show cuz it has everything, humor emotions etc.the set your holding, unfortunately isn't out in region 2. it would feel amazing to hold 19 disks at once. i don't like how you have to touch beneath the disk to get them out, i also don't like how the whole product is seperate to the box, cuz i like to have the whole set safe and as a whole and it would be a pain to keep taking benders head on and off i think. i've yet to buy the seasons. sorry for the 3 comments. futurama FTW!!!
Love the design of this. My favorite episode is The Farnsworth Parabox. Love the show, it's been my show since I was 7 haha Now i'm 15. I've seen every episode and movie and i'm currently working on a Bender computer case mod and i'm going to use this head for it :D

I think this was a brilliant design for the complete series. Of course, I couldn't be patient enough to wait for the Bender head to come out so I own all 4 volumes and all 4 movies in their individual packages. Tell me something, is it difficult to get the DVDs out of the Bender head? They look sort of crammed in there. And I think I prefer the box sets better cause the Bender head probably wouldn't fit right on my DVD rack but it's still really awesome.
I love the Bender head design, but my only improvement I would have made was instead of having the discs in the slots like that, I would have put them in slim dvd cases, it was definitely doable since the size of the head was large enough. It isn't difficult to get them out, but it would be better in slim cases.

OK, I had to look it up , I wanted to know too badly. Apparently so far it has only been picked up for one season with 26 half hour episodes begining to air "mid 2010".
Well there are region free dvd players, and many dvd players have codes you can put in them to make them able to view different regions. You could try a google search with your dvd player model and region free code. Have a great weekend!
Yes, the letter is just a printed letter, with printed signature. Both the episode guide and letter are under the flaps of the box on the bottom, so watch out for that because I like most purchasers nearly threw it away because it was not visible unless you open the botoms flaps of the box.

Thanks for bringing this awesome collection to my attention. Bender is my favorite character too. I love when he joins the church and says robot grace haha. Or when he's transporting pillows on a planet with extreme gravity and his legs telescope. So many great moments, meatbag.

I found out about it through a friend on here, who mentioned he saw it when he went to Comic Con San Diego. I looked into it and found out they were releasing it to the general population a couple months later. The Comic Con Exclusive had signatures from creators and the actors who do the voices and I believe they were hand numbered as well.
I just got this collection and I must say that it looks GREAT! The only thing I don't like is that I CAN'T OPEN THE THING! How on earth do you open it?
Ha yes it is difficult to open, I mentioned that in the video as well. I am able to open it but its not the easiest. However I guess it is good for the fact it doesnt open so easily that stuff doesnt slide out.
I just got that @#$% thing to open! And it really wasn't that hard once I understood how to do it. If there's anyone out there who has a hard time opening this one - here's the easiest way to do it:
You see that little tab that's shown at 5:19 in this video? Don't try to bend it open there. Instead, just push the hatch(?) right beside it while at the same time pushing the hatch to the left.
The letter signed by Groening is only from the Comic Con Exclusive, which I think there was only 5 Thousand of and only given to people who purchased @ comic con.
This one is exactly the same, however without the signed letter. This was released a few months later directly to the public. Amazon actually has it written incorrectly on their information page about this that it comes with the letter which it does not. If it did I would have showed it as I like to show everything the set comes with.

nice review but I just got my Futurama collection and mine came with a letter from Groening. It is at the bottom of the box under the flaps along with the paper the shows what is on each disc. It shows what number bender head you have out of 25,500.

I agree, the one thing I thought they could have improved upon was the dvd storage, there was enough room really to hold the dvd's in slim cases.

I heard that it comes with a complete episode guide and letter from Matt Groening. Is that true?

Yes, the letter is just a printed letter, with printed signature. Both the episode guide and letter are under the flaps of the box on the bottom, so watch out for that because I like most purchasers nearly threw it away because it was not visible unless you open the botoms flaps of the box.

today i was sad my ps3 broke and my xbox 360 was getting fixed i was watching this vid i showed it to my mom on my laptop she said cool went into the computer room and didnt come out for 3 hours when she did come out she said merry christmas i asked why she said remember that wierd robot head you showed me i said yeah she said i bought it for you i said thx i wasnt sad anymore

Thanks for bringing this awesome collection to my attention. Bender is my favorite character too. I love when he joins the church and says robot grace haha. Or when he's transporting pillows on a planet with extreme gravity and his legs telescope. So many great moments, meatbag.

I like it, BUT IT PISSES ME OFF! Cause I have the serise and all four movies, then they come up with this! So it's cool, But I feel like I'm well within my rights to be pissed about it.

Yeah, I pronounced right once, and pronounced it wrong once :/. I had already filmed the part where I pronounced wrong once and didnt feel like re-doing it. No disrecpt to Mr. Groening obviously I am a fan.

I do have a question for you - at the main menu on each dvd, does it give an option for "play all"? When they released each season individually, only seasons 3 and 4 had a "play all" option on them. I REALLY love this feature.

I found out about it through a friend on here, who mentioned he saw it when he went to Comic Con San Diego. I looked into it and found out they were releasing it to the general population a couple months later. The Comic Con Exclusive had signatures from creators and the actors who do the voices and I believe they were hand numbered as well.

I just got this collection and I must say that it looks GREAT! The only thing I don't like is that I CAN'T OPEN THE THING! How on earth do you open it?

Ha yes it is difficult to open, I mentioned that in the video as well. I am able to open it but its not the easiest. However I guess it is good for the fact it doesnt open so easily that stuff doesnt slide out.

I just got that @#$% thing to open! And it really wasn't that hard once I understood how to do it. If there's anyone out there who has a hard time opening this one - here's the easiest way to do it:
You see that little tab that's shown at 5:19 in this video? Don't try to bend it open there. Instead, just push the hatch(?) right beside it while at the same time pushing the hatch to the left.

The letter signed by Groening is only from the Comic Con Exclusive, which I think there was only 5 Thousand of and only given to people who purchased @ comic con.
This one is exactly the same, however without the signed letter. This was released a few months later directly to the public. Amazon actually has it written incorrectly on their information page about this that it comes with the letter which it does not. If it did I would have showed it as I like to show everything the set comes with.

nice review but I just got my Futurama collection and mine came with a letter from Groening. It is at the bottom of the box under the flaps along with the paper the shows what is on each disc. It shows what number bender head you have out of 25,500.

The manufactured letter and a small booklet is underneat the flaps at the bottom of the box. It also tells you what number out of 25,500 you have. I never even noticed it under the flaps at the bottom, good thing I kept the box! And to think I was about to throw the box out.
