  • Before 4/16/07 Virginia Tech massacre claimed 33, in Blacksburg, VA: Luby’s Cafeteria 10/16/91 massacre in Killeen, TX claimed 24. First victim in Luby’s shootings was veternarian Michael Griffith. The index didn’t readily show him, but dying the same day was Laurence E. Griffith. The 8485 end of Griffith’s 478-16-8485 could evoke the 1984-85 school year and 1981 split. • Before the 4/16/07 Virginia Tech massacre claimed 33, in Blacksburg, VA, the Luby’s Cafeteria 10/16/91 massacre in Killeen, TX claimed 24. Luby’s victim Lt. Col. Steven Charles Dody (511-48-0745): born on the first b’day of 1968 HEisMAN winner O.J. Simpson—7/9/48. Tommy Vaughn might have played football too. At 6’6”, 330 lbs, he used his body to break a Luby's plate glass window, creating an escape route. Unrelated: Virginia Mitchell as assistant to Cuyahoga Co. Prosecutor Stephanie Tubbs Jones

  • banning guns is just avoiding the problem, and it may even make it worse, since criminals don't observe bans.

  • if the students there where armed this would have never happend

  • Im not scared of Criminals. Im scared of the LAW ABIDING! why, because a perfectly normal person can have guns, then use them when the decide to transfer to Criminal class.

  • @rifleman1002 Trying to make sense of your fragmented point...Law abiding folks, by definition, would not do such a thing. That would my them...criminals.

  • @aligerous Its that first crime that Im worried about.

  • ban guns

  • @gape2011 die in a fire >:)

  • @gape2011 Ban pencils since they spell words wrong and make me look stupud

  • @YadaYadaguy I don't think they ahd magazine clips in the 19th century. I don't see anything wrong with limiting the number of rounds in a clip and requiring mental screenings for people looking to purchase firearms. By the way, the is a well-knowned corporate lobbyist that is controlled not by its members but by the gun manufacturers. Remember all those lies they said about how Obama wants to take away your 2nd Amendment right when he has never said anything on the matter?

  • This asain has MK-ultra written all over him

  • Heroes which rose up to the occasion:

The only 1 who tried to resist and jumped on Cho at Virginia Tech (unarmed, deceased)

Dr. Suzanna Hupp’s father who ran to fight George Hennard (unarmed and deceased)

The 4 in Tucson, who jumped the crazy and fought back, one of which was armed.

Those who lay down and play possum while others die around them:

Colin Goddard at Virginia Tech who now has a lifetime career with Brady Campaign along with another Family member.

    The doctor in Tucson.

  • It's clearly demonstrated (again) that college students aren't any smarter than the general population.

  • Best place for a mental ill to commit a slaughter is a place where no one shoots back.

  • I love the sign that said "Background CHecks Save Lives" well, not in this particular case.

  • People in NY, NJ and Mass already had their 2nd ammendment taken away, in those states you must pay and be chacked like a criminal to even have a chance of buying a firearm. If the goverment can get 3 states under their belt I'm sure they'll get the other 47 with time. It's not a question of if but when.

  • @Redcaster916 True, scary but true..

  • @Redcaster916 as a citizen of MA who owns a gun i only have to say shut the fuck up you don't know what your talking about it's wicked easy if you have never committed a VIOLENT crime even if you have committed crimes like larceny it's still pretty easy you just have to wait a while

  • Gun free zones are unarmed victim zones...which is why we see all these mass shootings at "gun free" schools.

  • Background checks won't do anything if someone wants a gun they'll resort to other ways to get there guns.

  • @cortchubby Liberals believe in liberty(implied by the name). So, anybody who thinks the people should have weapons is no liberal. Just like conservatives believe in conserving, anybody that wants to get rid of the bill of rights is no conservative. Notice how someone can be a liberal and conservative at the same time...

  • only good thing i heard in that video is putting into consideration somebody's mental health when purchasing a firearm

  • human beings are not perfect even the most perfect, are not free from any decease. you go crazy you just go crazy! why should everyone pay for the nut? own your gun defend your self, Kill the nut !!!!

  • Yes, the problem wasn't that all of the students there were prevented from defending themselves by a campus gun ban.

  • @ArmednSafe very true. the most successful shootings are where guns are banned. is that just a coincidence? why dont i hear about shootings a gun shows? "you cannot stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws.. thats INSANE!!" -Penn & Teller. if citizens were permitted to defend themselves, these wouldn't have been as bad as they were. we've all heard of columbine but why dont they talk about the one where 3 students disarmed the shooter with their own guns?

  • wow because of some retard gook , others have to suffer, if anything they should allow more people to carry to prevent stupid shit like this to happend, ask people who live in states who have concealed carry....no one farts the wrong way

  • @kingbigdawg9 This has been the only "gook" that has ever done a gun shooting in the U.S. If you want to add racism in American mass killings. Look up all of the spics, niggers, crackers and sand niggers. Who have bombed, shot and stabbed in this countries history. Idiots like you have no business pointing the finger at Asians, who have the cleanest record when it comes to violence. So shut the fuck up, when you have no clue to what you are talking about.

  • I don't know bout all of you but I have peace of mind knowing that when I'm at work, my wife has more than one gun readily available if anyone tries to break in the home to do harm to her or our kids. During the LA Riots we were left to fend for ourselves. Oh and criminals don't follow or care for any law. THEY ARE CRIMINALS! And if a crazy neighbor goes postal like this shooter, they wont go postal on us. Cuz unlike the victims, we will defend ourselves. go ahead and keep your gun free zones.

  • As long as American political leaders..have share's in weapons and arms companies.. there will never be a GUN BAN! how do you think america makes money...

on war..killling people.. and stealing other countries natural resources..

  • I wish the US was making as much SOUND money as you seem to believe.

  • So if we are stealing other countries natural resources why is America bankupt and whith this economic crisis?

  • tell 'em matador5135

  • Guns are part of the American way, everyone should be able to own a gun unless your a convicted felon. No questions asked. @Oslorulez

  • @Oslorulez I know your comment is 9 months old but I have to point our your horrible math, everybody hates Bush because his war is/was supposedly bankrupted our country, so genious how do wars make money for America? They don't they cost a shit load of money, period. They don't make money. Where did you get these lame ass 'facts'? You watch to many movies.

  • ok so you stop them from buying a firearm from a dealer. but if he really wants it he will get it from the black market. those are the ones you worry about . gun laws only hurt honest people. they dont stop the law breakers.

  • Look you do not under stand there are 4 justices that do not understand the Constitution. You know that dont you. Gun control laws can be crafted so that you need to pass a tests,

When the congress questions people at are to be appointed to supreme court they need to ask very pointed question the bill of rights, and how they interprets it. Then only approves these judges after they find judges that understand the Constitution believe in the citizens rights it protects.

  • Ironically some Virgina tech students wished they could have had them that day...the killer may not have taken so many lives...plus thats what criminals look for..an unarmed public who cannot fight back

  • this is tragic incident, but i believe more peoples lives are saved everyday by responsible armed citizens with legal ccw permits. iv never been to a gun show, but iv bought several firearms, and they ran a complete check on me every time.

  • background checks dont save lives.

  • Banning guns dont save lives.

  • Complete fools

  • I'm very dissapointed in this video. I thought the families were going to protest the Virgina Tech. ban on concealed carry.

  • So gullible. Look up MKULTRA

Or do you really think Oswald did Kennedy?

  • the nra is responsible for thousands of homicides every year

  • and too much meth is responsible for the hole in your brain....

  • Your a idiot, he number of lives that are saved every year by guns - between 1.5 and 2.5 million. The majority of defensive gun uses does not even involve the discharging of a weapon. Simply displaying the firearm, is often enough to ward off an attacker, with less than 8% of these instances involving the wounding or killing of an assailant. By looking at the number of senseless deaths that guns prevent, it is obvious that the greater good is being served by having armed citizens.

  • hardly anyone reports crimes that dont happen. if someone walked in my door id wave my M9 at him, and if he simply walks away i wouldnt call the cops. alot of prevented crimes arent in cop stats because only crimes that happen are reported and documented

  • If just one person in those classrooms would have had a gun,the story would have been a lot different.

  • 100% right, no liberal wants to think these college kids are smart enough to defend themselves but they are smart enough to attend college and the school can their money. Hit the colleges where it hurts, their pocket books and they will allow CHL's on the campus.

  • @scott6305 no both would be dead or more

  • It wasn't the "Gun Laws" that made it possible for this mentally ill murderer to purchase firearms. It was the rediculous privacy laws on mental health files that make it illegal to share information with the Police if a patient is deemed "Dangerous" by their examining mental health professional.

  • "When guns are outlawed only ouwtlaws will have guns." -copy and paste to prove a point on anti gun videos

  • cant take away law abiding citizens guns just cause some gook wen toff on a rampage.. i mean if he stabbed 30 people would you ban knives?? lol

  • They would try, most assuredly. See the UK's laws on knives. It won't stop until anything remotely dangerous is illegal. Which is idiotic, because anyone who wants to kill people bad enough can and will. You can make a bomb using inexpensive household items. Crazy people kill people, it's a fact of life, and cops cannot always be there, another fact of life. Let law abiding citizens carry guns, or say your prayers and die. Those are our options.

  • Idiots. He didn't buy his gun at a gunshow, Brady was shot with a .22 revolver and assault weapons are not the leading murder weapons in this country.

The problem at Virginia Tech was that liberals blocked the FBI from viewing mental health records. Liberals made GUN FREE ZONES where mass murderers are assured large numbers of defenseless victims. After Liberal policies fail the public, they always respond by attacking conservatives and law abiding gun owners.

  • The most common gun used to kill someone is a .22 cal pistol. That is the opposit of an assault weapon.

  • Actually I believe the FBI lists a .25 or .32 but either way, Assault weapons aren't even a noticeable statistic. They want Assault weapons first because they are more dangerous to police and military trying to seize weapons, Next will be handguns, Then sniper rifles(any scoped rifle) Then tactical shotguns (pump action, more than 3 shots) Then they will register and license the others until they are expensive and impractical to own. Then it will be safe, but for WHO?

  • Where i live, they dropped all gun regestration, You can by any gun without a permit (Not full auto). There is almost no restrictions on carrying a gun openly, and we have concealed carry permits. We are on of the lower states for crime. St Louis doesnt count lol. It illegal to open carry a weapon in st louis or st lous county. The highest crime we have here is in the areas where they limit gun rights. That should say something

  • You don't need a license???where do you live ? I think I need to move there. LOL

  • I live in missouri. The only thing you need a permit for is to carry one concealed. They found the regestration was useless.

  • :0 lucky you!!!!!

  • the 32 victims should still be alive if everyone carry guns. they should have wasted that motherf!@#r.

  • I agree. To stop inocent violent crimes is to give every house in washington dc and chicago a gun. The gangs would learn to only kill gang members.

  • It wouldn't have made a difference in the VT becuause the courts didn't offically doccument the mental illness into the NCIC Computer System. Thusly he passed his Background Check.

  • ok, our gov is a douche bag first off, secondly, our gun laws are as "holy shit" as they make it out to be.

  • If they want reasonable gun control Fine, Make a course as intensive as a police course(price for first time $200) on shooting(yearly testing at a small price say 20-40 bucks) and if you pass with flying colors you'll be allowed to carry anywhere, anytime, anyway you want(open or hidden). I'm sure we could all agree to that. Those who don't want to take the test leave your guns at home but impliment them with Castle laws in every state that dose not have them. Problem solved

  • That would be like adding a poll tax to voting. Like voting owning a gun is a right, it says nuthing in the constitution about having to pay a tax or take a training course. Owning a gun is a right, not a privilage that should be regulated

  • Not a tax Most have to pay a fee to renew there LTC/CCW license anyway. C'mon you would not want to carry open in any state at any time for a lousy 20-40 dollars fee a year. Also the police test is not all that hard. Most police only have to test once a year.

  • In states like missouri, open carry i legal along with other states. The concealed carry is optional. In 3 states you dont need a lisence to carry a concealed gun. I carry a gun just about anywhere i go. Should you have to pay a fee to have freedom of speach? THats a right just like being able to keep and bear arms. All fees and taxes do is make poor families not be able to legal get something, so they get it illigally. All it does it make more criminals.

  • Not too many anti gun logic here in these comments. Can anyone refute a person's right to defend their liberty? Cars kill people in this country two levels of magnitude higher than guns. (that means that for every person killed by a gun, over 100 are killed by cars) Should we restrict personal car sales?

  • The people who want to ban guns are more crazy than the shooter.

  • Laws like this one help to cause the damn tragedy. It's sad that the ones who banned guns on that campus is what made the students defenseless. Their "No gun zone" Meant that the school would protect them, and so they won't have to protect themselves, the school failed to uphold its promise, yet they are not held responsible.

  • no one said to sell to truely mentally ill, and that would have to be very defined as to not include half the country, and convicted felons of violent crimes shouldnt have guns either.

  • You wanna stop school shooting? Let the students and teachers be armed. You want "reasonable gun controls?" then only let staff and ROTC students carry.

  • Jesus. I need to move out of NY so I can carry a gun. I'm glad I made it through college as a sheeple without being led to the slaughter. We're as helpless at school as we are on an airplane.

  • Support and join the NRA. Be smart, be armed!

  • @redfestiva you idiot

  • i support background checks but dont take my guns away altogether

  • "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater ... confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, quoting Cesare Beccaria in On Crimes and punishment (1764).

study history 1800-1900 great period of history with well documented debates.

  • if you dont have a gun then youra moron.if you dont carry your gun your a moron ...and i hope a nut that made a zip gun blows your head off.you people that call 911 and wait for the police while your daughters get raped and your sons are strangled are morons get armed learn self defense stop being pussys.

  • The antis do not have any common sense to realize that criminals will get weapons just as they get drugs. Drugs are illegal nationwide....are the drugs gone? Anything can be used to inflict harm form a belt to a box cutter...? Maybe since the divorce rate is so high might as well let the gov choose our partner too?

  • I am going to say this; the mentally ill and those convicted of felonies should not have guns and the loop holes should be closed. The truth is had VT respected the second amendment and allowed legal registered gun owners with conceal carry permits on campus, I doubt he would have chosen the school as a target or would have kill as many before

  • there is no loophole and why are they protest this loophole in virginia when he didnt use a gun show to get a gun. god damn if someone seems sketchy at a gun show no one is going to sell them a gun

  • That would be violating someone privacy if they made someones mental status public record. Even a normal sane person can snap.

  • someone was able to defend themselves. Have you ever noticed these Crazy people chose gun free zones? Why? They have no fear of retaliation. Predators like cho chose the easiest targets.

  • Could NOT have said it BETTER...

    or more accurately...

Thank you for having a BRAIN..AND for USING it! You make me feel better!

  • The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.

Our founding fathers gave no options for repeal or change of this right.

It didn't say we have the right to bear arms the end,(so it could possibly be changed) no it says we have the right to bear arms and they "never" can take that away.

  • Those that site the militia phrase portion of the amendment, when where "militias" and "the people" ever the same thing? News flash "NEVER" our founding fathers chose the words very carefully because they "never wanted the citizens unarmed".

I agree those with mental illness or felonies shouldn't be allowed arms, but honest legal American citizens should and that's never going to change with out a civil war.

    V.

  • The privacy laws concerning people with mental problems is what permitted that bastard cho to pass his background check. He also broke the "Gun Free Zone" restriction which prevented any legal firearms owner from being able to defend themselves from this freakshow murderer. Here's a clue for you, "Criminals don't obey LAWS!"
