The best character for the single player is the siren because in a tight situation you can escape fast, and if you spend pionts in the tree you can re-heal yourself in seconds and the phase walk only takes 16 seconds to regenerate. But if your willing to spend pionts in the tree you can also equip a cool shock attack so when you go there enimies they die at a good rate! But for multiplayer the best character is the soldier beacuse he can protect you with his turret and regenarate ammo!

Soldier is good for a game with others he plays a great support role and can hold his own. In conclusion Best Character EVER. he can heal himself and can regenerate ammo.

@DarkWolfassassin forgive me, but i disagree, I agree to you saying that the soldier is the best support role however he can only heal HIMSELF with the aid of his turret that doesn't last long and takes 120 seconds cool down time, unless you spend points into the tree, he is best in a team because of the team ammo regen and XP boost but solo... id have to say Brick would be the best as he can heal himself at a phenomenal rate with his action skill and has the highest defence. I'm sorry :)

@packman2k6 Every class can heal themselves from their action skill, Soldier heals the whole team with a aura from his turret and his bullets cauterize wounds, overall the strongest character would possibly have to be the Siren as she can perfectly disapate behind monsters/humanoids with 600x melee damage or heal 75% health with the full duration or use eridian weapons with increased speed don't forget her mastery over the elemental effects and Smg ammo regeneration

@TheRedemptions yeah, me too. i beat this game six times and everytime had a blast playing it. if they do make borderworlds, i want to see more areas for playing. more missons. different and more classes, more types of weapons, maybe pets or something, more realism, but than again, who knows if this isnt realistic? but all i know is if borderworlds is anything close to as awesome a game as borderlands, im pre-ordering it first thing. and i play x-box. :)

So the repeater you got fighting those three bandits on your way to baha, it was 2x9 damage meaning, it did a total of 18 damage, shotguns always use this type of damage display, i am also currently using an smg thats 4x40 or something like that, its pretty much a rapid fire shotgun that has a 1 second reload time if not shorter
