  • What image for 35 seconds, under the first blow on body of the guitar, is present the clank of the strings?

  • @Swouford ?

  • @maneli At the first punch on hulls guitar at the same time there is a sound blow on the strings. How is this possible? I thought long and I can not understand. Sorry for the translation of an error. I translate from Russian =)

  • @Swouford I will have some lessons on this topic soon!

  • @maneli I look forward to! I hope everything will be crystal clear

  • @MegaMrBenn Yeah of course, met him too.

  • Nice job, Maneli ! Thanks for the invitation !

What model of guitar do you use in the video ? Is it a Taylor ?

Did you lower the string action and strings gauges for the tapping technique ?

  • @philrouge77 Thats played on a Cole Clark FL2AC, i lowered the action just a bit not because of the tapping though but for the ease of general playing. Check out the Cole Clark though, they sound amazing!

  • @maneli, Thank you maneli, I think I 'll try this model one of these days, I have noticed that I can find them in several stores in France. They sound really great, and are not too expensive.

  • sounded quite a bit like antoine dufour til about 0:35 almost as if one of his songs were being playing backwards, haha, but then you took off at about the 1:00 point and did something truly unspeakably fantastic, that riff you played at 1:03 had so much emotion in it, truly amazing that you could translate such a sound onto the guitar, peice of work for sure, go maneli!

  • @overlord3069 Thanks a lot!

  • He's talented, thats obvious. But it as a whole it feels like theres a lack of structure to the song itself.

  • @stevethepilot Agreed. He's definitely got the skills, but the writing needs some work. It feels really unstructured.

    Nothing more to say!

oh, but there is one thing: i had to share it on facebook!

  • How could you stay focused on your guitar with all that smelly smoke around you?

  • Tremendous playing, Maneli, and thank you for mailing me about it.

Did you not play a gig on the Ormeau Road, Belfast, three/four years ago, in a place called the Pavilion Bar? Maybe confusing you with another musician, not sure, either way, you're talented, and I hope you come to Belfast to play a gig real soon.

Recommend you check out the "Ards Guitar Festival" Newtownards, N Ireland, which features musicians of your calibre every year .

Very cool stuff, man. Even more so, because it is played in standard tuning.

    Keep 'em comming!

    Greetings from Holland.

  • Great stuff, man..I'm impressed.

I am a great admirer of all the Candyrat guys. You clearly are every bit as talented as they are. I've been playing the electric for years now. A while back I gave that accoustic fingerstyle-thing a shot, but soon discovered it was a waste of time for me to even try. Still, I respect anyone who is able to get that much out of one single guitar. People often don"t realize the amount of dedication, talent and time it takes to compose such a piecce..Respect, maneli
