I tried cooking this pulao on Sunday, yesterday. It is not oily and rather delicious. I am going to cook this rice dish again for next weekend. Thank you for the recipe.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful recipe. Please can you tell me where i can get pomegranate seeds /fruit. I live in the bay area and i have never seen any grocery stores selling the fruit!! Please let me know.. Thanks in advance
Very nice indeed. However it will be nice to have a recipe list for each recipe so that it can be printed off to use when one is trying the respective recipe.
Thanks for all the recipes, you have changed my entire attitude towards cooking. Whenever i see any new recipe on ur site, a loop is set in me to cook it. And believe me all the dishes have turned out good. Thanks a ton.
Chef, can I use ghee to sauté and minus all the ingredients except milk & saffron? Can I add rose water to it?

what is shygira?
Ugandangirl 1 month ago
@Ugandangirl it is: shahi jeera : black cumin. more of an acquired taste than regular cumin. but makes the dish look elegant as he said.
not to be confused with black seed ( nigella sativa)

Indian cuisine at it's best. Even something as boring and basic as rice is flavored up dramatically. I could eat this by itself all day.
