  • @Ugandangirl it is: shahi jeera : black cumin. more of an acquired taste than regular cumin. but makes the dish look elegant as he said.

    not to be confused with black seed ( nigella sativa)

  • dear acharya we have different kinds of rice in iran like domsiah, sadri, doodi, binam, amol, etc, but we don't have Basmati rice in Iran.
