An ex-boyfriend introduced me to Type O Negative probably about 14 years ago now. I have loved them ever since. This song reminds me of my daughter Kristie, she too loved the band. Sadly Kristie committed suicide in April of this year. This song reiterates to me the fact that I can't lost her... I know she sends me her love daily from heaven... Wish she was still here though. Been a fan of Type O since 1995. i've had 3 open heart surgeries in my life, and i have also had congestive heart failure at the age of 28 ... but i was lucky enough to live after a mechanical heart valve implant in 2008, his death associated with heart failure hit me especially hard, as i can relate to his death directly, i listen to you sing daily Mr Steele, your soothing songs of doom. Its the most honest music Ive ever heard - and I love them for over 15 years. The songs are all from his soul, so pure.
Its not like listening to music, as in background music. Its like listening to another soul. I guess (and hope) everybody here knows what I mean. Its not just "another musician", "another song", "another album"....
