Nice work. Personally, I love the camera angle. I haven't seen many guys use that angle - but it gives the most accurate "first person" rendering for sure.
funny that U mentioned using alternate picking, because I remember reading in a guitar magazine of Vernon Reid using only down picking playing this riff a technique that he utilizes in his play quite well which maybe makes this riff sound "unique" that no too many can recreate exactly.
I wouldn't doubt it. Vernon Reid is definitely unique. My version here is a little bit different. And I like to use this riff as an alternate picking exercise.
