This video doesn't really explain thoroughly to complete beginners. I'm taking my 3rd year of french, and it'd be helpful you translated everything you said in french into english, so it's more understandable.

I may say "Je m'appelle Gabrielle et je suis votre professeur de français" or "Je suis Gabrielle, votre professeur de français." Both are correct from a grammatical point of view, but the first one is "heavy."
