You know how you got into your backbend and got onto your elbows, and then you went even farther? Well how do you even do that?? I can't even get onto my elbows yet. D; like I try to lower myself and then I freak out cause it feels like I'm going to fall on my face..

hahah wow! I wanna learn how to do the splits! lucky! I did a bunch of stretches and stuff during the summer & got really flexible but i cant do the splits still! im really close! but i wanna be able to do it both ways! ahhh! How long did it take u to learn to do the splits?
@chrisbrownlvr23 ive been able to do the splits for a very long time so i cant remember but you should check out my video on stretching! those stretches are my favorites for progressing in the splits
@snyddy actually it is recommended to piont and flex you feet. because it allows you to stretch diffrent museles. you possibly noticed that when you first started streching when you pionted and flexed you felt more of a strech when piont then flexing or vice versa. you strech you calfs more when flexing then pointing. you stretch more of your hamstrings when pointing

im so jelsous is it hard for you to breath when you do a cheststand? because i can go back that far but it starts to get hard for me to breath how do u fix that? do i just keep strecthing until im ready?
its definitely not that comfortable to breathe in that position! i dont know how it is for pros (and all the many many people better than me) but i cant imagine it ever being easy to breathe there. who knows? i havent practiced in a while but im getting back into it and we will see if the breathing gets better or not lol

You need to Start Small with Simple Exercises and Always Warm Up before Exercising to Avoid any Injury. Seek Help from a Professional as not Every Exercise is for Everybody like Bending and
Back bends!! Practice practice practice and then try to get your feet and your hands closer and closer together. I use the doorway, stand facing and touching on side and then lean back and walk down the other side with your hands until you touch the ground. (Be careful lol)
I can't do that at all! I get pretty far down the door then I get scared and fall on my head. It was about then I discovered it's a bad idea to try contortion in a long skirt. I end up stepping on it and come crashing down.

excellent stuff!!! how long can u stay in the full butterfly pose, with your head/chin touching the floor? I know it's quite difficult ot extend forward so much, have u tried ith someone pushing on ur back until ur chin touches the floor?
full butterfly.... if im leaning as far forward as i can, i can stay there until i cramp up haha i usually only stay there for maybe 30 seconds or a little longer. sometimes ill do another stretch then do butterfly again.
i used to be in a few tumbling classes and my instructors would sit or push on my back to help me stretch better. its really helpful!
work on bridges starting from the floor. after you get better at that look up back stretches on here because it all starts with bridges for the most part :)
i used to stretch every day for about 45 minutes- hour & that helped me improve. but i was able to do these stretches from near the beginning of training because ive been lucky enough to be somewhat naturally flexible. but it DOES take practice to go further!
ive noticed a lot of contortionists doing these videos wearing the short pants and working in very cramped spaces (i couldnt do those in a empty room to my self!)

OOh! careful at 1:22!! i can do that to the point that i can put foot under my rib and leave it there, but its BAD for ur knee! try to bring ur foot to ur cheek while laying down instead. I picked up alotta good ideas frum u! keep me posted on ur progress
youre right that when your foot goes too far it can be damaging to your knee but its ok to go as far as i went. i asked my yogi & contortion instructor & they say its bad to bend it farther. thanks for pointing that out!
You look to have a lot of flexibility in your knees and hips... for an extra stretch in pigeon pose (1:31 on your first side) start moving the calf of your front leg out and away from your body.... this will help to open your hamstring and loosen up some muscles in your back, cause they are all connected ya know ;)
From the looks of it you have improved quite a lot since your last video. Congrats. :-) Are you able to do a cheststand with your feet flat on the ground yet?

we work with the area we have! i live in a college dorm so i didnt have a choice. shorts are necessary for stretching, if not less.
