@BlueGryphnix Heh yeah the big ben speedometer right in the middle is weird. It's a quirky that I prefer. I have a Fiat 500, the tacho and speedo are laid on top of each other in one gauge. Nobody's perfect I guess, especially in this price range but cheap Chevrolets have always had bad interiors
@Dreamside91 I will agree with u on the cheap interior comment, however, 2 things:
1) for this price range trust me the interior will be cheap
2) chevy like most american American companiesare realizing that the minimal effort in cars past not just interior alone, has cost them.
Not targeted at u but i find it funny that when the new CTS-V offers Recaro seats, u now see pple and reviews talking bout the CTS-V Recaro are not comfortable, 4 crying out loud its Recaro n they jst HATE
@BlueGryphnix Yeah, it must be difficult for the car manufacturers. At this price point you have to make do with very little. I know the first CTS-V had a suede inserts on the bottom of the seats, so you wouldn't slide around during cornering. I thought that was a great idea.
@falaqdad15 I know, it's all about making do with very little money. When I was shopping for cars I spent about 15 minutes talking on the phone in the base Fiat 500 and felt comfortable the whole time. I recommend everyone shop around like this. Maybe I'm too hard on the Sonic, for certain people they will like the interior. But please shop around!
Is some ricer really trying to argue for his slow ass base model Genesis? What a fucking douche. He paid thousands of dollars more for a car that's only marginally faster than a car that's designed to be cheap and fuel efficient.
Anyway, it'll be good news for Chevy if the Sonic becomes a popular tuner car. I definitely love the aftermarket support for my Mk6 GTI, there's bolt-on kits that go all the way up to 450 hp :)
@luminaeus Lol exactly and thats what im hoping for so far hearing good things in that regard most stuff though sounds like its gonna be based around the 1.4 turbo instead of the 1.8
@Motorchevytoyota No it doesn't, its tied for hp. You are forgetting the 2012 Accent which also has 138hp in a 1.6l N/A GDI engine configuration. Sonic turbo wins in 1/4 mile and 0-60 tests though due to the higher torque output of the Sonic. IMO, I think the Sonic is a neat little car.
I bought the ltz with the 1.8. Sweet little car but the aftermarket needs to hurry the hell up with the parts cannot find an intake exhaust or anything for this car
It'll be interesting to see what tuners come up with for the sonic. The stock tune is probably pretty conservative so there should be a lot to gain with just software alone.

@Dreamside91 Hondas and Toyotas in this segment are as cheap or cheaper than this. All of them have painted hard plastic everywhere.
