I think London has the most loyal fans! Here in NYC, Elphaba/Glindas' last show stopped becoming a big deal to the majority of theater goers after Eden Espinosa left.

@jaszon27 I think its partly cos our Elphies/Glindas seem to stay for longer...B/W seems to have a good turnover, keeping it fresh etc...but the downside is that the fan base doesn't build for so long for each actress...Rachel's only our 4th Elphie for example, and the 3rd institution (since Idina was only there for a couple of months :P )...she's been in Wicked since early 2010, as has Louise...so we all love them cos we've seen them so many times! :P

I think she did it perfectly. She sang it really well, but she didn't riff it up or show off to much, because she didn't want to take the spotlight away from Louise. I reckon her last will be phenomenal.

OMG ! I remember sat there in the audience and crying and screaming over this ! She was absolutely phenominal !! So glad i was there and to witness such an emotional but yet wonderful experience! Will be going again for the 16th time soon! =)

I think the title is kind of misleading. Louise plays Glinda, so this is actually Rachel's last Defying Gravity with Louise.

@BroadwayJonathan Glinda sings Defying Gravity too, it is not Elphaba's solo. So the title is accurate - it's Louise's last Defying Gravity. However, this clip does just show the end of the song which Louise only has 1 line in, it would've been better to hear the full song with all of Glinda's parts but whatever, I'm grateful just for this.
