Not sure why Rachael changed the words & melody (or had them changed); the original seemed just fine to me. Presumably though, the changes were made w/the permission of the song's co-authors Margaret Becker & Chris Eaton. But although I prefer Margaret Becker singing her own song, I *do* like this version's more acoustic accompaniment much better.

i was always a christian but since god used one of my family member to show me the light and that my faith was fading i feel so bleesed that he gave me another chance to find him i feel so greatfull when i think about what JESUS did for all of us and he was a human when he was being tourted and died on cross for all of uss just put alll your faith and sins to jesus and ask for forgiveness so we all can have ever lasting happines and enternal life i will die any time for my glourise god

opposing to jc. greater love hath no man than this, that he take his plane and fly it into BUILDINGs in newyork, boats at pearl harbor, or self bomb the unbelievers. SEE the arguement isn't universal that love is dieing for another. Its just death and that ain love. If he would have lived, like moses it would have been better established. LIFE IS A BETTER LOVE.

Rachael Lampa's altered cover of this song is called that, yes; but it was originally written as "What Kind of Love" by Margaret Becker & Chris Eaton, and is the title track from Margaret's 1999 album. The words were changed when Rachael later recorded this in 2002. (not sure who changed them) I just wanted to clarify the misassumption by some that Rachael Lampa wrote the song. (Credit where credit is due.) By the way, Margaret Becker's original version of her own song is wonderful.

Rachael Lampa has a very pretty voice, but I really prefer the original song: "What Kind of Love", the title track from Margaret Becker's 1999 CD. Not sure why Rachael changed the words & melody (or had them changed); the original seemed just fine to me. Presumably though, the changes were made w/the permission of the song's co-authors Margaret Becker & Chris Eaton. But although I prefer Margaret Becker singing her own song, I *do* like this version's more acoustic accompaniment much better.
