A lot of blame is to be placed on the modern day gurus too, who simply do not talk about the democratic, scientific & social aspects of the Sanatan Dharm, which is the core of the Sanatan Dharm. They keep talking about the "achieving god etc..." which is only an infinitismally small part of the the Sanatan Dharm. They keep emphasizing the renouncement to their followers while enjoying the wealth & luxury themselves.

IN INDIA, HINDUS ARE NOT VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THEIR RELIGION,THEY CHANGE THEIR VIEWS ACCORDING TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND CONCERN ON THEIR AND THE FAMILY
