Not only the poor planning, the endagerement to the public and the extensive property damage. actually by proof of the video the truck did lift itself up to the roof top there was no question about it making it down. so the answer is yes now if it was to ask about making it up and down then no... but good job maybe a thicker i beem for a truss on the frame of the winching point

For all the dumbasses that didnt know. The cable was attached to the engine. The point of this project I think was to use the 4x4 engine to pull the vehicle up. Hence the title, can a 4x4 lift itself. The reason for the rest of the body of the vehicle is because without the body it can definitely lift itself. So they had a vehicle with the engine. They are rejoicing because even though it didn't completely make it to the rooftop, it still managed to get to where it did.
