  • wonderful

  • Baby: fetch the ball

Dog: You're smaller than me, fetch it your self !

  • I would have no qualms whatsoever about having a Dobie around kids; I have no kids or dogs, but they would be the perfect babysitter. Guard dog-type breeds are usually excellent with the kids of the house; it's pack behaviour.

  • i hate how people say that dobys are dangerous, wen the fact is a small terrier with poor upbringing can be far more dangerous than a doby, its how u bring ur dogs up and how you treat them, they are like kids, raise them well and they will b brillaint dogs

  • I love how the dobie just nudges with their nose lol

  • We love Doberman. Spectacular dedication to their owners.

Hospital Veterinário e Petshop Dr. Hato

São Bernardo - Santo André - São Paulo - Brasil

  • Aparently the baby likes more the doggy bed than the dobie :)))) looks comfy

  • Dobermens are so patient and gentle X3 Ever dobe I meet just wants to say hello and give you a big sloppy kiss XD

  • ohh i miss my rott\doberman she was like my other momy

  • I hope you never let your baby alone with your dog. I know Dobies are gentle but still it's a dog and an accident can happen. Anyway i would not take any risk. But I'm not judging. Your Doberman seems nice.

  • @kenjikFr When I was a baby my parents doberman protected me very diligently, they are very loyal.

  • @kenjikFr my parents doby protected me, he even saved my lfie when I was little

  • @knightrider5050 Don't get me wrong I love Doberman. I'm just saying that it's a animal and you never know how it could react. (Even if with experience you can predict).

  • 1:12-1:26

"Tickle fight!!" i wish i had a dobbie <3 i love the crop on his ears.

  • The baby is on a doggy bed and the dog is on the floor playing with a ball

  • What a sweet dog!! He doesn't even care that the your baby is on the doggy bed. X3 such a wonderful dog!!

  • What a cute baby...and also dog! We just got a 10 wk old blue coat dobe!

  • Thanks for sharing! Dobermans are very special dogs---very protective and loving...well, if with the right person/people.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • Dobermans are great friends.

  • love the video.. this is the kind of videos people need to watch to convince themselves that dobermans are not the "crazy savage dog" most people think... i own one myself, and i can say.. BEST DOGS EVER

  • Dog: You took my pillow, well I'll take your ball.

  • oh god this dog is so vicious one day he'll just go crazy and attack your kid lol sarcasism people who think this are so stupid all dogs can be raised to be aggressive and all dogs can be raised to be friendly it just depends on if they have an good owner or not...

  • omfg~! The baby should ride him!! XD

  • The only dogs I've ever been worried about biting me were small dogs.

  • @DuckwalkSupreme the only dogs i've been worried about biting me were snakes.

  • thats a big ass doberman

  • Doberman is so elegant

  • 0:24 my fave scene cuuuuute!!

  • I like my dogs to have tails so I don't need to be looking at their teabags and butt hole all the time.

  • You can just tell hat the dog is looking at the baby thinking 'what on earth is this?'

  • Don't think my pups would have been this tolerant of a kid playing with there toys lol

  • @kelzybub306 Then I would work on resource guarding. A properly raised doberman SHOULD be this tolerant.

  • @DakotaTheDoberman I don't have a Doberman, i have Jack's that are known to be less tolerant with kids. i was just complimenting Familydobes.

  • @kelzybub306 I have two jack russell terriers. One of them is like you said, less tolerant, and I wouldn't trust her around a child, yet her mother is sweet. My Dobie who died 3 years ago loved everyone and was super sweet, and very gentle around kids & older people, very gentle with other animals, especially babies. The only time he would get rough was when he was playing with another dog. And even then it was all play, no biting. I sure miss him.

  • I love the part where the baby throws the ball, and the dog looks like he's saying, "Are you gonna get that? No? You're sure? Okay then, I'll play with it." What a nice dog! (The baby's cute, too!)

  • The baby coughed on the dog lol

  • @dragonquestist our mini marts owner also has a doberman.I couldnt ask for her to be any sweeter(: my 3 yr old daughter is obsessed with her!

  • I wish more people could view this video so they can see how sweet and well-mannered Dobermans can really be, not stereotype attackers/fighters. That baby swatted his ears in the video and the dog wasn't even fazed.

  • @RabidNozomi: Agreed. I noticed that too but that's no different than if a pup was doing that as well, that is swatted mom with his paw. Dobes can take a beating. The kid could have landed a good smack on his head. The most I feel this dobe would do is give a firm bark and walk off. But most of the time Dobes love a good smack down fight. Just don't get hit but their paws. "yeouch!"

  • @RabidNozomi I have a Pitbull and I feel the same exact way about them too. I've met Pomeranians and Chihuahuas far more wild and snappy than Dobermans or Pitbulls haha

  • @teemell19 Yeah, small dogs have psycho temperments. I have a chihuahua mutt, and she doesn't know what children are. She doesn't know where she stands with them. She tries to get close to sniff them, and when they try to touch her she backs away and barks. People need to learn about temperments of dogs and their breeding--the temperments of their parents, etc.

  • He looks like he has to poop!

  • Its sweet this child and this dog

  • very very smart dog

  • My 7 year old red male Zeus is great around our 2-month old baby as well. I really love the temperment and beauty of Doberman Pinschers, and I intend to always have one. Great video.

  • I had a dobe to, she was amazing!!! very, very kind with the family and also orotect the house against unknow people. The best dog that i ever meet!!! i miss her so much, she was part of my family...... Great dobe congrats!!!!

  • hes a big lad!!!! oh how i love to watch you poor delludenoids fight over this dogs temperament look at him he clearly lurves this child and they can iteract so that the dog can act the same mental age as the baby leave off him hes playing!!!

  • This video has made it somewhat easier for me in deciding on the best dog for my family. It's great to see just how gentle they really are. Thanks for posting!

  • I WOULDN'T TRUST A DOG LIKE THAT ,WITH A BABY, EVEN THOU I LOVE DOGS 'THEY CAN BE JELLIOUS OF KIDS,SOME PEOPLE HAVE HAD THERE BABY ATTACKED BY A FAMILY DOG, TOO,

  • @mommakathie55 First of all, no need to yell. Secondly, "a dog like that"? Dobermans are amazing if they're raised properly. I should know since I grew up with one. We also had two german shepherds and a rottweiler. I played with them all the time, yet they never did anything to hurt or scare me in any way. Our cat, however, almost clawed my eye out once... Go figure.

  • 1:03 "What are you doing? That's my pillow...... I'm serious, that's my pillow, you need to get off...... Dude, seriously, GTFO!"

  • Deam!!!The Doberman is HUGE!!!

  • this doberman looks like ramsey!!!

  • How much time have you spent training your dog or is the vicious label just a bloohaw people spread about this breed cause i plan on owning and want to know the difficulty lvl on training this breed.

  • @kobeandshaqBFF Just keep watching the youtube videos- Dobermans aren't vicious at all. They used to be bred for viciousness for dogfights, and were originally created to guard Mr. Dobermann, a tax collector. They're extremely loyal though, smart, n easy to train.

  • I honestly don't think any breed of domestic dog is more vicious then another. It's all in how it's trained. If a Doberman is vicious, it's because it was trained to be vicous. I do think that some breeds are more dangerous when trained to be mean, like the pit bull with the locking jaw. But just because an animal has a weapon doesn't mean it's going to use it.

  • One time i befriended a mean doberman in less than 5 min. People could not understand how this mean dog was so friendly and playful to me and totally mean to everyone else. I met the dog in the kitchen, talked to it for maybe a few min, and way playing Razzle with it and hugging her. People were amazed at what they say.

  • How could you risk a child's life like this? This animal is clearly out of control! Blah Blah Blah Yadda Yadda Yadda, and all of the other stuff people say that fear Doberman's because they know nothing about them. Beautiful dog! Very well behaved.

  • Awesome :)

  • sweet

  • aww I love how the baby kinda barks at him, LOL....good doggy. :)

  • I love how patient and careful the dog is with the baby :)

  • I believe it's funny that some of the people on here believe what they hear.

    Anyhoo...

I actually teared up on this video, it was very touching to me and so beautiful. You have three beautiful babies =)

  • dobbies are like all breeds except they are harder to train, dont get one unless you are commited to them, they re to intelligent for most people? and not for the novice owner? other than that they the most loyal, trustworthy friend you will ever have? yep i've got one and have had a few. my pep's is 12yr old

  • These types of videos show how truly gentle and smart Dobermans are. Incredible pets and companions. I can't wait to get mine!

  • So sweet, I have a male dobe at home as well.

    Wonderful dogs.

  • 0:20 - 0:28 - the doberman must be thinking "Well.. if you ain't gonna have the ball..."

  • Do they bark alot? Or threat to foreigners?

  • adorable.

  • @Zachattack937 This is an old urban legend, their barins do not outgrow thier heads. If a dog goes crazy of any breed, usually the root cause is poor socialization and training coupled with abuse.

  • @familydobes Or the rabz.

  • @familydobes or unwell a visit to a vet.

  • @Zachattack937 I heard that after a while something makes humans go crazy and attack you.

  • @ihoppy LMAO!!!

  • @Zachattack937 no man, if dobes grow in an appropriate environment they will be always fine. only humans go crazy, nothing else no one else ;)

  • @Zachattack937 Yes, cause all dogs are assholes. Get a cat or gecko.

  • @Zachattack937 If you have to ask yourself that question, you shouldn't own a dog, period.

  • @Zachattack937

It all depends on how the dog is treated. Any dog can be ferocious if treated awfully, even a Doxon or Chihuahua

  • Not exactly. My aunt had a dog that was treated very well, but not spoiled; he was disciplined and trained properly, and they weren't abusive. They did everything by the book. Then, out of the blue, the dog attacked me, completely unprovoked; I was doing absolutely nothing and the dog knew me rather well. Same dog attacked their son a couple days later; the thing went for my neck and his eye. Sometimes, you get a dog with something wrong with it, just like you can get a crazy person.

  • I love dogs, if you sound sad or pretent to be sad, they rush over to you trying to comfort you :) They really have a big heart for thair family/"pack" :)

  • Awn, that's beautiful. I'm definitely going to get a doberman one day.

  • what an amazing dog :))

Thanks for uploading this video and a special thanks to you for training him that gentle way !

This is what a dog should be for: men's best friend !

I had a Dobi myself and a friend of me had two little children 2 & 4 yrs old. After some months of training and watching we could sit in the kitchen and drink coffee, while the dog and the children were playing in their room. After some hours the children had a lot of fun and my dog was exhausted ^^

keep the great work up !

  • This dog in my eyes is like a person, so gentle and protective to this baby its unbelievable i never knew dobermans could be this obidiant and ,,Playfull"...obviously well trained , keep up the good work @familydobes

  • WOW... This is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen... The dobe is totally intuned with the child...!! he never touches the ball when the baby reaches out to it, he actually pushes it to him,!! very good! .. gorgeous baby and dog ! :)

  • ooh he instantly releases the ball when he thinks the baby wants it o-0

and lol what a kid, he just flew onto the cushion xD

  • People, i wonder how 20 peoples can dislike this video. It's so cute how this Doberman play with the tolder.... I love when i see such vid. <3 Those dogs are awesome ! <3 them !!!

  • ADORABLE !

  • I had a doberman that loved my two small children. A Doberman is a wonderful dog.

  • The smart dog knows the baby is pretty helpless, by how he/she walks around, unlike an adult. It knows that instinctively in its genes & its special breeding. So when the baby lies down in a certain odd position, the dog is concerned that the little tyke could be in trouble. That's why it tries to sniff or nudge the baby... Of course even tame dogs attack/bite, sometimes, when they're hit (accidentally or itentionally). That's also in their nature, to defend themselves or those close to them.

  • Kid stay away from the stool, take my ball please...the ball..throw the ball..too cute lol

  • there so cute! x3

  • How old is he? I mean whats the Dobermans name and age?

  • i don't care what people think dogs are great

  • Love this video! I hope my 3 year old dobie Lucy will be so sweet when we have children! At the moment she is so skittish of them!

  • cute cute cute cuteeeeeeeee

  • my sis nor bro would have been able to hit/slap our dogs face. Dose he let the kid close to the food bowl?

  • Dobies will take over the world. At least mine think so...

Both my bb's (pups, 18 months 1 dog & 1 bitch) are amazing with children, so much so that we are having another baby (as planned!) but we have the piece of mind that Sargent & Roxy will guard them well.

Doberman's are an amazing breed. Quick learners & stick to you like glue, very loyal. STEER CLEAR of 'Pedigree'. Unless you want a hyperactive dog.

  • CUTE baby and awesome dog!

  • love these dog there the best

  • what kind of doberman is it??? european or american?

he's amazing... i love his ears. it's just perfect

and he is in a perfect shape too.

    congrats

    saludos desde Chile !

  • hey i'd b more scared with my border collie mix around children! really good dog ;)

  • I love when the baby throws himself on the dog bed that was the cutest!!

  • ahahah. the dog is like a horse for the babay..

  • 1:26, the kid gives the dobe a smack on the nose. ahhahaha. so cute.

  • jajajaja your dog is so gentle... the same behavior? well, my dog (is a male too) is very patient with his puppies... is not the same, but i think that the dog know the baby's vulnerability... a dog is overprotective with the most... weakest? of the group.

  • I have a Dorberman (Bruno) of 1 year and 7 months old.. and is soooo gentle!!!.. WE WILL GO FOR THE SECOND DOBERMAN!!! ARE THE BEST DOGS EVER!!!

  • thats a great dog u got there, and a cute baby to...

  • oh my gawd! I so wanna steal your dobie~! Thats just cuteness~

  • Its strange how animals have the ability to look out for humans when no life long bond is established.

  • @charlotteemilyyoung for nothing !! a true dog never risk to hurt a member of family ! he knows very well the ierarchy ... is family first and then him ! i dog knows better belive me !

  • OMG, that dog is sooo gorgeous, I recently lost my dog, and we are thinking of getting a new one once we move on from our grief. I hope we are lucky enough to get a dog as gentle and beautiful as yours!

  • awsome dog

  • You should dress that oneyear old in a special carry-harness and train the doberman to pick him up on demand. :)

  • I love how the dog realized he shouldn't try to grab the ball when the baby has it! Smart dog!

  • You have taken well care of him! And it is great to see videos promoting how gental they can be with proper attention.

  • What a great dog. I was wondering, how much on average does your doberman shed? I would love to have a doberman, but my fiance is allergic to dogs. Thanks :)

  • @sitamonster they hardly shed, unless ur stroking it or playing with it, in which its obvious that some hair will fall off. If u have a bed for your dobie, then it will be covered in hairs after a week or so.

  • @sitamonster Dobes do shed quite a bit... At least mine does. I guess it depends on their hair coat. My boy has really thick hair and sheds a ton. Pretty sure they would not be a good dog for someone who is allergic.

  • @sitamonster It's not the fur he or she will be allergic to, but the pet dander. Depending on the degree of allergies your fiance has, it could be possible to live with any animal as long as the house and pet is kept clean. I have heard that properly bathing the dog at a regular time interval can help with allergies a lot. Also, if it helps any, I am allergic to cats and have three! I manage =)

  • I'm impressed with how gentle that doberman is. :)

  • nice dog

  • So funny how the baby bellyflopped on the bed.

  • Wow this is great its good to see people who positively represent the breed. schutzhund is the best way to isolate good genetic lines and insure the breed will continue not those albino doberman breeders. I wish everyone knew how gentle a good doberman is

  • is that a great dane mix?????? its huuuge?

  • hes a HUGE dobi

  • what a gorgeous dog you have!!!!!

ps: nice baby tho :) haha

  • oh no!this dog s eating the baby! stop it stop it !

    hehe :D

  • lol that is a big dog

  • Love it!

  • Almost looks like he's trying to pick the baby up. That's so cute! I really hope my male is that gentle when I get him.

Is your Dobie fixed or intact?

  • Intact

  • @familydobes whoah?! are you serious?! i have a miniature schnauzer, and shes a intact female (im pretty sure you know how grumpy they are) and the moment my niece goes to play with her she gets in to the defensive. hey btw wanna trade doggies lol jk

  • @familydobes sorry but whats fixed and intact?

  • @aliammar07 Intact is when they have their Reproductive organs, "fixed" is when they have been removed.

  • @Gaplox what do you mean by "fixed" and "intact"

  • @Gunmetallic91 it means neutered or still got his... yanno bits

  • @MissHeatherAnn1

    Dog cock.

  • Very nice dobie :)

  • 0:56 - It's like he's saying " I'm 8! "

  • The younger the kids are, the bigger the dog needs to be. Only big dogs can handle being mauled by children. XD

Dobermanns and rottweilers are such sweethearts; I always wanted one. I spent the summer in the company of rotties, and they were big teddy bears.

  • whether that dog try to helped the baby to stand up??

    so sweeeettt <3

  • that is so cute!

  • My niece is not able to walk still, at one. Should I be concerned??

  • the baby is like dont grab the fuckin ball!! lol

  • i had a doberman when i was very little around 5 and he was so gentle with the whole family but he was quite vicious to some people outside the fam they are very loyal and great majestic dogs to have but not so great with strangers

  • @claire0750 If your dog was vicious while unprovoked, it was most likely not propperly socialized. The vast majority of dogs will perk up, be on alert, bark, etc. when a stranger is around, that's not a doberman thing, it's a dog thing.

  • Guys this truely represents a Dobie, my old dobe (Bailey) was always full of life but when around children he was so careful and gentle!!! Typical Dobe in a lovey Vid with a lovely child!!! :-)

  • If they get beaten and that kind of stuff they can get aggressive yes, but it´s not the case here. I know smaller dogs are more likely to bite than larger dogs.

I´m unfortunately allergic to dogs, I get astma if I´m in a house with a dog.

  • The dog is like "Hey, here's the ball. C'mon, let's play" So cute!

  • love dobermans , would like to know where to get one in Northern Ireland ?

  • doberman rescue, if you need advice about them just give me a shout and will pass my email to you

  • babies are able to walk at one years old?

  • i walked at 9 months according to me parents

  • That is the typical age children start to walk. They are not always good at running. But, yes, one is walking age.

  • i like how the dog is gentle with the baby

  • i want a dog liek this for when i decide to have children! u no they'd never be safer then with a doberman around! great dogs i want 1 lol but im still living at home atm and my mum for some reason hates dogs =\

  • definatly going to get a doberman

  • Great, great Dobie.Should you want to see how gentle a Dobie can be when playing with a puppy please take a look at the videos I have posted on YouTube.

  • SO CUTE~!!!!!!

  • their both beautiful!

  • Did anyone else notice: Every single child/dog video on facebook has at least a 4 star rating, and most of them a 5 star one lol

  • im lovin the belly flop at 0:25 lol

  • Comment removed

  • wow! this is what you call a proper dog! dob has been my fav for ages, shame they are fading!

  • hilarious

  • awesome.. hes really patient.. and gentle.. wouldn't mind having him..

    *can i have him =D)*

  • Stunning dog, and adorable kid. It's wonderful seeing properly trained Dobies :)

  • What a wonderful example of how to raise a dog! He's gorgeous, and so are your kids!

  • What a sweet & gentle dog! Your child is a cutie too.

  • Really sweet. :) I love seeing dogs and kids getting along like this.
