Voice of an angel. With her music, the 50s sounds like a great time.

It's always sad to read of someones passing.
This recording is so wonderful. The best I've heard of her flawless breath control. Totally amazing, intimate, and a great recording.

I just heard Woody Herman's version a few days ago. I was surprised to find that it was recorded in 1949. Just a beautiful song.

Its by Woody Herman and Ralph Burns, Johny Mercer wrote the lyrics.

Thank you for YouTube's only studio vocal solo version of this superb ballad, A 1949 hit for Woody Herman. The 4 Freshmen very recently recorded it. In my mind, I hear this as a bossa tune.

This would make a fabulous bossa tune.
