  • You should try yamaha ytr 8335 rg. It has reverse lead pipe and heavy hand hammered bell

  • I like tha Bach on the long tone. The Yamaha when you first played it early sounded more toward a flugel sound. I like the Bach. i have a Bach for many years and it is so great and expressive.1970 vintage model 37.Nice test thanks.

  • He also did not play the same piece on each instrument.

  • Sir, the number on the bell of the Stradivarius is NOT the model number. It is merely the machine that the bell was crafted upon.

  • I hate to say it but the yamaha sounded better. But im still For King Flairs

  • Personally I think you sound more confident on the Yamaha.

Really what you need to consider in this sort of situation is that the Bach has a characteristic sound that many people are used to hearing. Yamahas are very good quality, but there may not be anything particularly special about the instrument.

Either way both brands are used and endorsed by many top professional players.
