I have loved this music since I went to High school in the 80's. I'm 46, white male, lives in Denmark, europe. I have a large LP-collection. African-American women are so beautiful. I have never understood racism in U.S.A. You should imagine, that black males had enough to do preventing white males from falling helplessly in love with all the black women.
I is a white honkey knob end from small town U K. But I bet my Mowtown collection is well better than yours. you wanksplat hillbilly fuc*shags!!!!!!!!!

Motown, aka PIMPOLOGY 101: Take poor kids from the hood. Dress em up, train em, put em out there and make you money! Give them a lil bit, except for your top hoe's (take good care of them), then when your medium/lower level hoes sell a mil ($12) per album ($12 mil gross), given em 1 point. They buy a FLY car, house and are broke. You end their deal and leave em stranded. Bobby DeBarge of Switch carried water for Motown when no one else was makin those PIMPS $.A good pimp bails them out not BG!
If you like Motown Look out for a track called Abraham Martin and John/What The World Needs Now Is Love by Tom Clay! Outstanting record of our time! Live coverage of Kennedy's assassination, Martin Luther kings Assassination mixed with Motown!
I'm trying to find the name of the song that goes "you got that (sweet way of talking?) I want to (spend the ngiht with you?) (Dance the night away?)" i think tis female vocals. its been stuck in the back of my head for 3 months please help
If its the Leo Sayer hit, its "You make me feel like dancing". He sings it in a high falsetto voice, hence "female vocals". OMG! I am so embarrassed now, lol!
I will never get sick of the Motown sound! I love it from the 60s and I love it now. The new artists have an amazing sound too. I was looking at all of them on the website, universal motown, and loved listening to everyone.
MOTOWN - Joan Osborne with The Funk Brothers Band - (Search string). Joan does does a REAL good job. It´s perfect. So "Nakedbody" feel what´s it all about.
Songs from the Motown era, could be identified by afew notes. The sound was great, unique lively..So many reconizable Artist. The Funk Brothers(for those who don't know were a group of Musicians, mostly Black Americans, with I think 2 Whites..),playing alot of the music for the Motown Artist. These Guys weren't really given their just dues until lately.Kind of late for such great Musicians.Today's sound for me just doesn't have the Heart and Soul and Substance of Previous Music. That's just my opinion.
Motown! I grew up with this stuff! I definitely like the new artists and genres out there, but I will always love my motown. Thanks for posting this, it's incredibly well done!
This is so musical and pure. The musicians were seasoned Jazz heads, the singers used their voices very musically and the writing, originality and soul has no comparison to any of the junk that's marketed today. These people didn't even grow up with television either. Just goes to show how much corporate America fucks everything up and we have to listen to what they think we should like.
You are rigth all the way in your comment zachnewyork...unfortunatly in this times the corporate media do whatever they want to do with the new generations...to me this singer is pure art...
Oh now I got what's "Motown Sound" is. It's fucking SILENCE
