It all depends on the person. Some people can eat whatever they want and not gain an ounce. Some people have to be VERY careful what they eat. Our bodies and metabolisms are all different. Also another big part of the problem, aside from eating too much obviously, is that everything is processed. We want everything cheap and quick, and aren't willing to spend the extra money to get the better quality meat, veggies, etc.

However its reasonable to assume most weight issues are due to overeating and not getting enough excersie. I was under the impression you knew that when obesity is being compared to a virus in this context, it is not referring to a literal disease, but rather the false common notion that when one is obese, one is in fact a victim that can blame the obesity on any number of excuses without accepting any personal blame or responsibility for their current state. Just as one who is the victim of a virus can blame the contracting of the virus on a number of factors that were beyond their control.
for example the fact that genetics could play a role in obesity is I think what Bob is getting mad over. he's to dumb to realize how stupid he sounds and i think it's funny. he doesn't even know what hes mad about hes just mad. it also shows that he doesn't care for facts he'd rather yell about what he believes to be true.

I was under the impression you knew that when obesity is being compared to a virus in this context, it is not referring to a literal disease, but rather the false common notion that when one is obese, one is in fact a victim that can blame the obesity on any number of excuses without accepting any personal blame or responsibility for their current state. Just as one who is the victim of a virus can blame the contracting of the virus on a number of factors that were beyond their control.

A genetic predisposition to becoming obese is not a valid reason to dismiss personal responsibility for becoming obese. I'm sure he is aware of this popular excuse. His videos are full of facts and valid points, sound reasoning, and in many cases specific research to back up his points. There is, however, only so much he can say to support his points in under 2-3 minutes for each video...
