What I find interesting is that Orochimaru is at a disadvantage against Itachi, while Itachi admitingly is weaker that Jiriaya. The only thing I can figure is that some styles are more effective than other, but doesn't nessessarily make the other better. Like Tsunade is stronger than Deidara, but his ariel style is very advantageful

the reason why I use the word weaker is because Itachi says that even if he brought allies along, he'd still die.
