  • Zero dislikes....my faith in humanity is restored.

  • @76i86989789 GO fuck yourself...

  • @76i86989789 Hai chiuso meno male.

  • how many people in there? 200.000 ? Must´ve been great

  • 7.32 a 7.36 the best part of this song :)

  • I'm sure John Deacon was wetting his pants, while riding the helicopter. It sure is scary.

  • I was there too wiv me mate Brian. got there late just as Quo finished there set. Big Country were crap I thought. . .best memory was some girl walking down through the park with a mini skirt that was just about on. .stepping over all the blokes, i was getting some sun and thought it was a cloud going over, but when I looked up all I saw was a fanny looking at me. we had to laugh as she walked down coz every single bloke in front of us she stepped over sat up in amazement. . .were you one of em?

  • i heard after this song in knebworth some lady gave birth to a child no joke

  • i was there monumental day never to be surpassed

  • The best Concert i have ever been too !! I worked on the stage !! and got lucky enough to meet the man himself !! Amazing Show !!

Wow !! I loved the lighting affect on the stage !! stood in it when it was going up !!

    RIP Freddie !!

  • @76i86989789 what a dick move freddie was greater than you will ever be and he's was bi

  • 0:02 "hullo, watch me wave my shiny shoe around". Smug prick, must think he's the fucking king of the planet.

  • @Zebonka yes it was darling! :)

  • to this day the biggest and best gig i have been to.

    will never forget it...

  • I was there - having been to (Wembley twice and Manchester all in the same 5 days). I still have all the same friends 25 years later...even though now we only see each other for Birthdays ending in zero.

  • @paul06fr The same question I ask everybody - any chance you have made any photos or recordings of the opening bands ?

  • john deacon rocks!

  • Ignore 76i869789 he is a troll saying the same stuff ie sad no life spending all there time doing stuff like this lol

  • @76i86989789 Nah, he doesn't. YOU belong in one for thinking so. Trust me, ta ta.

  • @76i86989789 Then why are you even here checking it all out?

  • @76i86989789 Well If YOU say so, it MUST be the truth. Or ?

  • here was 300.000 people.

  • Brian mismo dijo que no existe ninguna grabacion oficial del concierto de Knewboth

  • @hombresh According to google translator you said "Brian himself said that no official recording of the concert Knewboth" . Well that's not true. The DoRo team filmed this concert for the documentary, the only question is HOW MUCH did they film, we know that they filmed at least the second half of the concert (from Is This The World We Created till God Save The Queen) - clips of various songs filmed by the DoRo team were released in various documentaries

  • @pittrek81 I have heard that the concert was film but someone forgot to push the record button for the sound...:(

  • I was there, Awesome gig.

  • @uniclic Lucky guy :-)

  • @uniclic I was born the day this gig happened, only a couple of miles away...weird.

  • at 3:24 you can see Mary Austin ex girlfriend of Freddie Peter Straker Freind of Freddie Jim Hutton Freddie's partner and the the guy in the background is Nikolai Grimchinovich who is led to believe was the bloke who infected both Kenny Everett and Freddie Mercury with AIDS as they shared lovers

  • My dad was one of the 120,000 luckiest people in the world that got to go and see this - his first and last Queen gig - and a gig he still maintains is totally unmatched by anything else he's seen since.

  • this gig lives long in my mind,as the best live concert ive ever been too,i remember big country and quo were supporting with big country on first, you could actually walk up to the front of the stage when bc and quo were on. then about half an hour before queen came on it seemed like a million people from no where just turned up,but wow what an experience.

  • @dogsonstring Yes, quite right. I remember everyone just sitting around whilst the support groups were on. Like you said it was easy to walk around the site and even to the front. That all changed for Queen however! Great days.

  • love this song!

  • The sound quality is rather satisfactory especially when you think it's an amateur recording.

  • @satualm Well to be honest the audio comes from the official album "Live Magic", so it's a soundboard recording :-) Only the video is an amateur recording

  • @pittrek81 Thanks. So is this not the audio from Wembley? That's what I thought 'Live Magic' was. But it sounds better than the Wembley version.

  • @peteface24 - The Live Magic tracks were recorded in Wembley (1st night - Is This The World We Created ? , 2nd night - Hammer To Fall) , Budapest (A Kind Of Magic, Under Pressure) and the rest comes from Knebworth Park

  • @pittrek81 So what you're saying is that the majority of Live Magic was recorded at Knebworth?

  • @CelticReject Yes

  • @pittrek81 It makes you wonder why they don't release that concert on DVD?

  • @CelticReject As far as anyone knows, only bits and pieces of the concert were filmed by Queen Productions.

  • @CelticReject Hard question. Maybe they don't have the complete footage or they think the stuff they DO have is not worth releasing

  • How did the fan get into the concert with the camera? Cameras in the 80's weren't exactly small. :-)

  • @manner2005 Especially when you see everywhere the sign, that no cameras or recorders or bottles were allowed :-)

  • @pittrek81 What is your thoughts on the Electric Magic Bootleg? I bought it many years ago as my first ever bootleg, cost me a fortune at a trade fair. In my opinion the boys are on great form, and it obviously has sentimental value, but the boot itself is awful... i don't know why so many fans like it... so tinny and flat.

Thanks tho for your efforts here

  • @killerqueen501 You're right, it DOES sound very "thin" . If you want the best audience source for the Knebworth show, get "Thank You All" by "Wardour", it should come directly from the master tape

  • no hay un video profesional de este concierto :( lo confirmo Brian mismo

  • Is there a dvd from the concert??

  • @TomTiet Not official, but a fan managed to film the concert from the audience, it's the video which starts here at 4:30

  • Geeez I cant believe it was 25 years ago, this summer. I remeber it like yesterday, and I was somewhere on that crowd of 120,000 people!

  • If this concert will be published as well as being dedicated to any victim of the public, will be the last publication of a live concert of the group, in my opinion is not out yet for that reason alone. After the film will be released on Freddie and Queen will be the media attention to publish new works.

  • @smilzomagro I honestly didn't understand a word of what you have written. All gobbledegook to me. My apologies of English is not your first language.

  • Many people fail to think. This concert was filmed and recorded for the simple fact that there was a large screen. How do you think they got all those pictures on the screen? It took a lot of cameras. This is the last concert of the Queen at all. Before this concert will go out a reprint of other concerts, such as Budapest.

  • @smilzomagro aha the only person with common sense you brilliant person :D

  • @999freddiemercury Thank you! :D

  • I was there.it was my first ever concert.Fantastic.Quo were ther too also Big Country

  • @NG9TOTON I asked this 500 times before, but any chance you have any photos or recordings of the opening bands ?

  • @NG9TOTON

you're forgetting "belois some" was there as well.

  • @NG9TOTON . I seem to remember the Thompson Twins were there as well..or is that my deluded mind?? What a day!!

  • I was there.it was my first ever concert.Fantastic.Quo were ther too also Big Country

  • I was at this concert, at the front, of course it was filmed, I watched the cameraman walk past me all through the concert. Fantastic memories of that day.I MISS YOU FREDDIE xxx

  • I have a conspiracy theory on all of this, first of all no way did Queen not film this concert it was filmed its just because somebody got stabbed in the audience and later died in hospital that the band decided that it wouldn't be in the best taste to release this and secretly took a vow that this concert because of that would never ever be released. It was the biggest concert and last of the tour. Queen didn't film this bullshit they did and one day it will be released.

  • @dave28coolio - I am absolutely sure that the second half (from Is This The World We Created) IS filmed

  • @pittrek81

According to Brian May it was filmed and transmitted live but, alas, everybody thought, pushing the "record" button way someone elses job. So apart from the transmission travelling endlessly through space, there's nothing left.

  • @SamPhilippMoor I know, but that's of course not true. There is still the excellent footage filmed by the DoRo team

  • I was there

  • @123boaby I know I'm asking it everybody, but any chance you have any recordings of any of the bands which played there that afternoon ?

  • As soon as they show the entire park, together with the backening music.. shivers down my spine, I tell ya.

  • checkin the last minutes , is like to be there, thanks for share this emotion video

  • @varso76 You're welcome, I'm glad that SO MANY people like this :)

  • we missen hem nog steeds

  • I was there on this day with my wife, it was magical

  • Any chance you made any photos / recordings ?

  • Fuck today, its tomorrow, go Freddie! :D

  • Fuck today, its tomorrow, go Freddie! :D

  • Queen had an idea that this may be their last concert, Freddie told them. I wish they had thought to record the whole concert professionally like they did with Wembly. Oh well....

    R.I.P Freddie, Queen Rock

  • I'm not sure but according to Peter Freestone Freddie didn't know he has AIDS till 87

  • on a tv broadcast one week after freddies death, Brian said he thought he had known for about 5 years

  • @pittrek81 Sorry mate we didn't. There were 6 of us.

I was gutted when I learned that the official line was that no official recording existed of it.

I bought spare tickets to sell down there and didn't bother trying to sell them in the end.

Cannot find them anywhere, unused tickets from Knebworth.

What I do remember is the police coming onto our coach looking for the people who'd stabbed the fan.

  • It would be nice if the original TV Anglia news bit from 1986 surfaced too, surely someone recorded it!

  • Never heard about it. Do you know what was broadcast ?

  • @pittrek81 Not exactly, I would hope it is just longer bits of what you used in this video.

  • "Since it's the last Queen concert, I really hope Queen Productions will release it officially"

    this concert was recording full??

a lot of sources say that not

  • From what Greg Brooks replied me on Queenzone, they have something more than half of the concert filmed + a lot of pre-concert shots and backstage interviews

  • what video recordings does queen production have? i mean..does a complete list exist on the net?

  • yes.....but if they filmed just half.....why don't they mix it with the fan record....and see what happens

  • @pittrek81

Greg Brooks actually said that? I remember reading somewhere that they had everything set up record it but somebody forgot to actually press record!

If they genuinely have half of it filmed aslong with the backstage stuff then that would be fantastic and hopefully it will be released at somepoint.

  • Yes, it was in Queenzone, but I can't post here any direct links

  • filmed by fan......there is a dvd released

  • where did you get the magic years part from? the quality is awsome! I wish I could have the whole series with such quality, any way u could post some more of it?

  • It's a transfer of the official VHS tape.

I'm sorry, but since my connection speed sucks, I have to think a lot what will I upload
