I guess you are not from there or into the culture there, how is Yreka like L.A. Or San Francisco? Its not! From the beginning of California History there was a movement to make this region a separate state. State of Shasta, Cascadia, ect. Get acquainted with Jefferson's history and understand we are septate and independent!
@JeffersonAction eastern washington northern idaho and western montana wanted to create the state of lincoln. and more recently eastern washington wanted to cecede from olympia and rename it Columbia

Use the power of the internet and form groups on Facebook and Myspace. Write in your local newspaper and call your local radio stations. Let's make Jefferson a reality!
