Think it's laughable that you are amused by the fact that 'they' drink sour milk. Ironically, you don't mention how ludicrous it is that humans even drink cow's milk. Just because it's a machine sucking on the cow's udders to extract the milk into containers, doesn't mean that milk-drinking humans are not still sucking vicariously on mother's 'mammas' - albeit that 'mother' is a cow rather than a human being. What the heck does that say about the human race?

In fact they work so hard they are making us look bad, that's why they have jobs. What's worse is that you're solution is to make it impossible for them to improve their situation and make their poverty even worse; I am sure that will work brilliantly!

Yes, racism or 'alienation' has also been portrayed by other sci-fi forebears like Star Trek and its spin-offs Voyager and Deep Space 9, plus others such as Babylon 5 etc.

I think Alien Nation is more thought-provoking as it takes the aliens out of 'their' environment and puts them into 'ours', so to speak. It's easy to embrace the differences, when 'aliens' are not sharing your environment isn't it? True test of character to embrace 'aliens' at home though ;-)
