  • Good movies

  • The Breakfast Club will always be the first ... *--*

  • Planes, trains & automobiles is the best movie ever!!

  • I wont agrue that Breakfast Club made at least top three, But Ferris was Hughes Greatest work.

  • Planes, Trains and Autos should have been higher, one of his best. Ferris perhaps top, Breakfast club completing the top 3.

  • Nice work. Click on my channel to see my 80's nostalgic collections; "80's TV Show Openings", "80's Saturday Morning Cartoons", "80's WWF Wrestling" and a "John Hughes Tribute".

  • For every that says Ferris Bueller should be 1# heres why your wrong, Ferris Bueller was a nice happy movie about a teens going on a mini adventure for a day and getting away from school w/ some funny encounters = Happy/Comedic/Romantic.

the Breakfast Club is about 5 teens from different Stereotypes coming together in detention and finding an understanding for each other and is so emotional it impacts people a lot more than FB. This movie also touches people = Dramatic/Sad/Romantic/Fun Movie.

  • Bueller?....... Bueller?........ Bueller?

I never laughed so hard in a movie!!! Classic!!

Thanks John Hughes... wherever you are!

  • planes trains and automobiles should have been higher :(

  • Here's my top 5:

    1. Ferris Bueller's Day Off

    2. The Breakfast Club

    3. Home Alone

    4. Planes, Trains & Automobiles

    5. Uncle Buck

  • In my opinion, Ferris Bueller's Day Off blows Sixteen Candles out of the water.

  • Top 5 1. Ferris Bueller's Day off, 2. Some Kind of Wonderful, 3. The Breakfast Club, 4. 16 Candles, 5. Weird Science.

Great man, GREAT!!! director. Rest in Peace John Hughes, the dj

  • great list but weird science should have been in the top five

  • he was a good screenwriter..

  • Rip John Hughes and John Candy

  • Man I wanna see uncle buck again, sumbody should upload it

  • love it! Thumbs up if they should make a movie theater just playing his movies all day every day. There sure are enough of them! I would just never know which one to see cuz they're all amazing :)

  • John Hughes is a genius

  • My favorite John Hughes movies:

    1. Some kind of wonderful

    2. The Breakfast Club

    3. Pretty in Pink

    4. Sixteen Candels

    5. Ferris Bueller's Day Off

    6. Curly Sue

    7. Denace The Menace

  • I adore John, I really really do, but Beethoven is stupid.

  • John Hughes is a genius. Some of my favorite movies was in this list and I didn't now he made some of them. I was surprised but no wonder I loved those movies cause John Hughes made it.

  • breakfast club is rigth where it's supposed to be!

  • best film dude person ever.

  • Fuck, make this into a top 5 list.

    5. Wierd Science

    4. Pretty in Pink

    3. Ferris Beuler's Day off

    2. 16 candles

    1. Breakfast Club

  • Ummm... hello? St. Elmo's Fire?? come on man!

  • @edcasabonne That wasn't a John Hughes film. It was Joel Schumacher.

  • Its a shame that I could only watch these movies on DVD. I was born in the wrong decade

  • some kind of wonderful definetly needs to be alot higher!!!

  • I totally agreee with THE BREAKFAST CLUB as being number 1 it is one of my favourite films!

  • john hughes usualy uses the same characters in his movies

  • Home Alone should have been #1!

  • @PreviewDude52797 home alone SUCKED compared to breakfast club breakfast club is the all time favorite movie of the majority of ppl who have seen it nd home alone wasnt very funny to me (the i highly appreciated the film at a younger age) but maybe im just being bias because i grew up watching breakfast club i remember watching it with my family at only 4 yrs old (though i did watch it even younger) the breakfast club is nd always will be my all time fav

  • @selenagomezrockdtl I would have said Home Alone because it's probably the John Hughes movie I've seen the most. I probably would have also said Ferris Bueller's Day Off as one of my favorites.

  • First off, Ferris Bueller's Day Off is the best by far. Second, Some Kind of Wonderful should be switched with Uncle Buck. All the little kid films should be way behind the teen films.

  • Have them all but for weird science and have watched multiple times

  • Uncle Buck soundtrack is AWESOME

  • Pretty in Pink is awesome! That should be 3 then Sixteen candels 2 & Breakfast Club one.

  • Wish John could have gotten this praise when he was alive!! I hope he knows the difference he made in the lives of many teenagers. The teen years can be the worst time of your life with uncertainty and the desire to fit in. John Hughes described those years like nobody could. Thank you Mr. Hughes.

  • @TBrockton exactly. he makes it better for us and the teen ppl.

  • this man is a hero,.i love his old stuff,.love the 70s 80s 90s movies,.the movies from 2000 all suck big time,,lol....i like hitchkock movies course some of his movies taked 10 year before they where ready,.not like in these days in 1 day like avatar schit or the new batman,,

  • Why is pretty in pink number 6 what the hell!!!! that made all girls love nerds. Duckie is the best! even my 14 year old daughter loves john huges films better than those lindsey lohan films. R.I.P. John you told the biography of my life and many other teenagers.

  • Ferris Bueller is soo much better than 16 candles!! =D but i agree with the breakfast club, it's defiantaly #1 !! =)

  • Ferris buelers day off is 1 and breakfest club 2 or the other way around but 16 candles is not better than ferris

  • @patsie00 Mirror mirror on the wall

  • I love it!! I could not have said it any better!! That is a great order!!

  • the only thing that i absolutley cannot stand about your lists is the downright aweful song choice

  • Everyone seen his movies, not many know they are made by him.

  • Nice list, but in my opinion Planes Trains and Automobiles was his best one.

  • @TheNewNewfie ''You can start by wiping off that fucking smile off of your fucking rosey face... I want a fucking car right fucking now ..'' classic

  • i knew breakfast club or ferris buelers day of would be one

  • Wow! He made some really fantastic movies didn't he?! Ones you could watch over and over again! He definately shaped the 80's & 90's with his films. There were also some I didn't even know he was behind. The Breakfast Club is my favorite movie of all time! But some of my favorites from this list are Wierd Science, Pretty In Pink, Christmas Vacation, Curly Sue, Denace The Menace, Sixteen Candles, Uncle Buck & Home Alone.

  • @jenii84 Where does ferris bueller fit into your favorites? EVERY BODY should have ferris bueller under their favorites.

  • how did he die?

  • @MisterCrazyLegs He died last August out for a morning walk and collapsed from a heart attack
