Nice work. Click on my channel to see my 80's nostalgic collections; "80's TV Show Openings", "80's Saturday Morning Cartoons", "80's WWF Wrestling" and a "John Hughes Tribute".
For every that says Ferris Bueller should be 1# heres why your wrong, Ferris Bueller was a nice happy movie about a teens going on a mini adventure for a day and getting away from school w/ some funny encounters = Happy/Comedic/Romantic.
the Breakfast Club is about 5 teens from different Stereotypes coming together in detention and finding an understanding for each other and is so emotional it impacts people a lot more than FB. This movie also touches people = Dramatic/Sad/Romantic/Fun Movie.
love it! Thumbs up if they should make a movie theater just playing his movies all day every day. There sure are enough of them! I would just never know which one to see cuz they're all amazing :)
John Hughes is a genius. Some of my favorite movies was in this list and I didn't now he made some of them. I was surprised but no wonder I loved those movies cause John Hughes made it.
@PreviewDude52797 home alone SUCKED compared to breakfast club breakfast club is the all time favorite movie of the majority of ppl who have seen it nd home alone wasnt very funny to me (the i highly appreciated the film at a younger age) but maybe im just being bias because i grew up watching breakfast club i remember watching it with my family at only 4 yrs old (though i did watch it even younger) the breakfast club is nd always will be my all time fav
@selenagomezrockdtl I would have said Home Alone because it's probably the John Hughes movie I've seen the most. I probably would have also said Ferris Bueller's Day Off as one of my favorites.
First off, Ferris Bueller's Day Off is the best by far. Second, Some Kind of Wonderful should be switched with Uncle Buck. All the little kid films should be way behind the teen films.
Wish John could have gotten this praise when he was alive!! I hope he knows the difference he made in the lives of many teenagers. The teen years can be the worst time of your life with uncertainty and the desire to fit in. John Hughes described those years like nobody could. Thank you Mr. Hughes.
this man is a hero,.i love his old stuff,.love the 70s 80s 90s movies,.the movies from 2000 all suck big time,,lol....i like hitchkock movies course some of his movies taked 10 year before they where ready,.not like in these days in 1 day like avatar schit or the new batman,,
Why is pretty in pink number 6 what the hell!!!! that made all girls love nerds. Duckie is the best! even my 14 year old daughter loves john huges films better than those lindsey lohan films. R.I.P. John you told the biography of my life and many other teenagers.

Wow! He made some really fantastic movies didn't he?! Ones you could watch over and over again! He definately shaped the 80's & 90's with his films. There were also some I didn't even know he was behind. The Breakfast Club is my favorite movie of all time! But some of my favorites from this list are Wierd Science, Pretty In Pink, Christmas Vacation, Curly Sue, Denace The Menace, Sixteen Candles, Uncle Buck & Home Alone.
Good movies
