  • A socialist America? I guess Americans are brainwashed enough and they really think that they are happy in their capitalism. But once people can open their eyes and get awaken, this ultra-strong capitalism country can easily turn into a socialist union, which will work for to make world better, not for turning world into a hell as they are doing it now.

  • @heathen9991

    ???

You think that citizens buying and selling things causes this much destruction? People didn't go to the store and say 'I think I'll buy missiles, corporate bailouts, Monsanto, subprime mortgages and GM'. The government did! Without an all powerful federal government, there would be no monopolies, and prices would fall. We need to empower local governments to address local problems.

Health care would be affordable, too. (why doesn't Wal-Mart sell antibiotics?... the FDA.)

  • 0:54 A WILD SNORLAX APPEARS.

  • Free Health Care doesnt mean we need full Socialism

  • In conclusion: we believe everything should be free because we're too fat, stupid and lazy to EARN it.

  • Socialism is Slavery.

  • Lazy poor crybabying biacthes. Socialism sounds wack!

  • @Tanoro

Interesting concept. But impossible in practice. It might work with research scientists working together towards a goal, but it will never work in real life. In real life, even small tribes have basic property right protections in place. Without property rights, there is no incentive to care for resources. This can be seen very easily in East Berlin, or in Russia just after the dissolution of the USSR. Also, see Hungary. No government protection of property rights = resource degradation.

  • @dadphone I agree. There is a difference between state socialism and 'real socialism'. The trouble with 'real socialism' is that mankind's selfish nature makes it impossible. (not to mention the technical and economical problems that even 'real socialism' has, like the inability to tell the true cost of an action with no currency system in place, since everyone would own an equal share of everything)

  • you socalist fucks disgust me

  • Nice tits on a few of them bitches..

  • ITS REAL SIMPLE...

CAPITALISM: I work for my weatlh, I decide what to do with it.

SOCIALISM: I work for my weatlh, SOMEONE ELSE decides what to do with it.

    WHICH IS FREEDOM?

  • @MeInTheCornfield,you are correct! It is a good thing to give, but when the person chooses to give! Many people need money, but it doesent make it right to steal money that was earned by someone!!

  • @MeInTheCornfield Are we truly free if not everybody is truly given an equal opportunity. Sure, you're told that America is the land of opportunity, but you aren't told that certain people have a significant advantage (ahem white males). This comes from a white male.

  • @ovensleeper MeInTheCornfield apparently doesn't realize that America is the most socially immobile country in the world. If you're born poor here, you will most likely get cheap education, cheap housing, a low-paying job, and go nowhere through hard work, thrift, and sacrifice. No, there are NO freedoms in Capitalism...period. I don't personally agree with Socialism either. They're both corrupt.

  • @Tanoro Capitalism is corrupt, but only because people pay off the government. If the government could not be paid off, there would be no monopolies, everyone's negative rights would truly be equal, and there would be no positive rights. America is not a true capitalist system - look to thriving places like Hong Kong to see something closer to capitalism.

I agree that neither system is perfect - but I challenge you to live in a non-capitalist country for awhile, and then tell me how you feel.

  • @samuelbhatch I'll accept that challenge if I can choose the economic model. I support the Venus Project and the Resource Based Economy. In such a system, there would not be any government bribery, nor anything with which to bribe.

  • @Tanoro

If you consume food in a day, there is something to be bribed with. Check out the book 'I was an NKVD spy'. In the former USSR, people could be bribed with food.

There is no way you can keep people from being greedy. Even in WWII, which some people point to, it was a temporary lack of greed overcome by fear, and it didn't last. There is no way to eliminate human greed - as such, pursuit of one's self interest in a constructive way - capitalism - is the only useful system of governance.

  • @samuelbhatch If everyone has equal access to food (as they would in the model I suggested), then how is bribery with food an incentive for anything? Could I bribe you with apples if you have your own orchard? Greed is not some irrational and mysterious behavior that can't go away. If you want to know about it, read the peer review sciences in human behavior and not old war stories.

  • @ovensleeper That's simply not true anymore. The only thing propelling many minorities' places in the lowest class is inner city schools. There is a very simple solution to this called a 'school voucher system', but liberals don't want to implement it, because it would lift people out of poverty, thus destroying their reliance on the government, and eliminating their voter base, jobs, and huge amounts of money. (check out Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi! They're loaded!)

  • @ovensleeper "THE ADVANTAGEOUS POSITION OF WHITE MALES." I wonder if Oprah Winfrey would agree with your position or C.J. Walker or Dudley Dryden & Len Dyke or La-Van Hawkins or SarahAnn-Marie Hall-Sparks or Marc Hannah or Colleen J Payne or Tony Wade or Trish Millines Friend, it APPEARS as if you have been bamboozled by some source (?) into believing NON-truths...
  • 1 You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2 What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3 The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4 You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

  • @bushbarnes 5 When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

  • this is a joke... right? like a parody or something?

  • Look up the other 'socialism commercial' on YouTube... lol.

There are a few side effects to socialism.

  • If I get the same lifestyle whether I work hard or not then why would I show up for work at all? The answer can only be that the government will put me in jail for refusing to work. Now that the incentive to better my conditions is taken away, I am basically slave labor.

  • video quote : "I was treated as an inferior in the work place with low wages..."

    - Why shouldn't you be treated as an inferior? I can see that you are young and the people that started the presumably successful business that you worked at are obviously more capable.

This is what socialists have in common. - The attitude that if they can't earn it then it should be given to them.

  • Are all socialists liars?

  • Ok, so why aren't we a world of glamorous entrepreneurs and billionaires? Why are there so many millions of poor people? It's because the wealth of the rich depends directly on keeping other people poor.

  • @dadaphone

Nope. If you really want to see what socialism is like, go try living in a socialist nation, and then come back to the US and tell us how it was.

There's a reason our poverty line is over the wealthy line of many nations. And that's because of capitalism creating more goods for everyone, even the poorest.(where else in the world can the poorest people get cable TV, internet, cars, even computers? These are things that only the very richest in other countries have.)

  • @samuelbhatch capitalism is good because it gives us consumer goods, is that your argument? Planless production of useless junk, palliatives and distractions, bread and circuses for the masses? You can keep it. If production was for use, and not for profit, we could have exactly such goods as were required without ANY of the waste and overproduction, wihout any of the unjust distribution which is part and parcel of a profit system.

  • @dadaphone No... Capitalism is good because production is controlled by individuals who don't get your money without your consent, unlike the government. It gives the main method of production(humans) the incentive to share. Whereas in socialism, people have your money and your labor without your consent.

(Google GULAG, and USSR slave camps)

Consumer goods beyond food are a side effect of capitalism(woo!)... unlike socialism, where even food is hit or miss.

  • @samuelbhatch I think what you are critiquing is STATE SOCIALISM. That is different from socialism PER SE. Socialism means this: worker control over production, community control over what happens in the community, democracy, end of wage slavery, rational social planning, from each according to his ability, to each according to his need! Soviet Russia CALLED itself socialist in the same way that every petty dictator today wants to call his regime democratic.

  • @OaGuardian: Your REAL religion is Capitalism. and your "God" is your God of Property. These Right-Wing, Phony Christians... with their religion of Capitalism, and their belief that their Property Rights, Trump all other rights on this planet, including ALL Human Rights... make me wanna Puke!

  • Holy Sh*t is this for real? Please tell me this is a parody......

  • @cholmes10 Sorry Friend... This is what lies ahead of the Great Nation of The United States of America, unless we WAKE UP AND TAKE A STAND!!!

  • @MeInTheCornfield : If you build on people, you build on MUD!! People will NEVER wake up. We are not trained to do so. The only way to liberate to uneducated people is to EDUCATE them - but that word, educat-

ion, is a dirty word to them. That's why they are so ignorant. And poor. COMPULSORY Labour/Trade Union-

ism is the ONLY WAY FORWARD for the blue collars. Nothing else works.

  • @squirell1952 You said: "The only way to liberate to uneducated people is to EDUCATE them - but that word, education, is a dirty word to them. That's why they are so ignorant. And poor."

My response to that is, EDUCATION!!!

But it SEEMS that your goal would be to keep people, as you said, "ignorant." NO! NO!! NO!!!!

I have invited you, via personal YouTube message, to join me APART from this forum in discussion.

  • Get an education and quit thriving off other people. Fucking idiots

  • @ghostofjackie exactly- fucking lazy dope smoking students

  • The evils of centrally planned socialism on the "Soviet" model are widely proclaimed, but capitalism has equally negative side effects. A Gross Maldistribution of the fruits of the economy. The breeding of a sick, mass consumer culture, where everyone is pursuing artifically created wants, (which totally destroys community.) But, possibly the worst side effect of Corporate Capitalism is the destruction of our natural environment.

  • @CosmicFork "fruits of the economy"?? this makes it sound like the economy is bearing some sort of fruit and the rich people are hogging it all. - The economy is made up of a gross national product which comes from WORK. The fruit is distributed to those who EARN it. It would be like me working in the field all day every day and then when harvest time comes you feel like the "fruits" should be split evenly. THAT'S socialism

  • @samwilson3d no no no no no. You have completely misunderstood. The arguments you are using are the kind debunked definitively a hundred or more years ago. "The fruit is distributed to those who earn it" No, it is comendeered and expropriated by those who own and control the means of production, my friend!

  • I have been reading most of these responses and I gotta say that there is alot of ignorance about socialism. Allow me to clear the air: Socialism, real socialism, is about protecting, upholding, advancing and defending the political and economic collective interests of the workers, farmers, and non-commisioned soldiers (in this case) of the United States of America.

  • "Collective interests". I am quite aware the agenda of Socialism and I am quite aware how much I am against the idea of a "collective" interest or the "public good". "Our" as in the USA.

  • could you be more specific, please

  • So when you say "our" your saying we American's right? Well you are wrong. You are not an American. You don't own any part of America. You have no say in how the economy should be run or how resourses are distributed. You are alienated from the very same society you work and live in. Your are just a squatter here. You are still a slave.

  • "Socialism: Its your decision....to allow the government to make decisions for you."

Good LORD, these girls are ignorant

  • Everyone always asks me what I'm going to do with my degree in Digital Audio. I need to show them this commercial so they can see what a big difference "bad audio" can make on a project.

  • Socialism USA Now!!!!!!

  • what a horrible commercial

  • Fuck socialsim, may parents lived through that bullshit in the soviet union. No one provides for me but me. If you are too lazy to work hard and make real money and have benefits than you deserve to suffer.

  • Sorry to tell you this, Reaganadze, but your parents didn't live under socialism in the USSR. They lived under Stalinism.

  • By the time my parents were born stalin was dead for 17 years. Kruschev and Brezhenev had destalinized the SSR. Forced Labor lessened but that was about it, fear tactics continued. People should not fear their government, their government should fear the people.

  • The Soviet Union did not have real socialism. In the beginning of the 1917 revolution there was, but then Stalin betrayed the Russian workers and farmers by consilidating his power with the help of like-minded Beaurocrats. Sure there was rationing and free healthcare but politically the workers and farmers got the shaft. That why the USSR fell. What your father told you was a lie that he was taught was the truth. After Stalin died those same beaurocrats still maintain their power. Which is stali

  • Fuck women, just make babies!

  • Great audio work.

  • All successful people struggle at first. That's just life. Socialism makes it so you are equally miserable your entire life. You can never better yourself. The human spirit demands a challenge.

  • I get the sarcasm Capitalism kills since when ? The only time I ever heard it killing is doctors performing abortions

  • Capitalism kills indirectly. The demands the corporate class places on the US government, means the Gov has to divert relevant tax money from important services such as healthcare. People died and continue to die because medicare and such could not provided expensive and vital therapies and operations. Look how many people died in New Orleans because the governemnt hired corrupt contractors who used cheap materials for the levies and such. By the way, abortion is not murder. A fetus is not human

  • The levy did not break cause of corrupt contractors. It was built a very long time ago. During a time when we still had natural mangroves in the gulf that helped calm the swelling waters. Over time the fishing industry had removed much of the natural barrier that the mangroves created. With that you add a category 5-6 hurricane and you have a huge problem. There are many facets to each and every situation. You don't have the whole story.

  • Oppression comes with socialism. It's a natural phenomenon. Socialist governments take wealth from all people and provides what it thinks is best..

  • In real socialism, a socialist govermnent would be collectively controlled by the workers and farmers so I don't know where you're getting oppression from. Since it is doing what is in the best interest of the lower classes. Im sure that the wealth you are referring to is the wealth that those same lower classes help the plutocratic ruling class (US) maintain by slaving in the feilds, toiling in the mines, assembling in the factories. Surely you didn't mean your checking and/or saving accounts?

  • And, in real Socialism, I'd simply walk away. I do not want workers and farmers collectively controlling the government and giving them the right to decide what I can or cannot do. I don't care about the lower classes...I don't care about classes. They can sit and rot in the fields and mines and factories before they get the chance to take control of the government. It is quite frightening to know a bunch of workers are going to running the world when they couldn't excel beyond that level.

  • what you're not realizing is reality. Socialism looks good on paper. There isn't a single nation that runs souly off socialism. There are nations that are capitalist with a hint of socialism like us in the USA, and other nations like Sweden.

  • It works in Cuba

  • Right... with a name like rednemesis I'm sure you're a bit biased to socialism or communism. But here's the thing, before we lifted the trade imbargoes from Cuba, Cuba was a very poor place. Cuba still is a very poor place. Socialism works when other countries (like us) fund them.

  • My screen name has nothing to do with my political views. I support socialism because 1) I am an oppressed and exploited member of the US proleteriat, and 2) I have relatives in Cuba. one day I visited the island with my mom and discovered the truth. And when was the embargo lifted? When did that happened?

  • The trade between America and Cuba ended long ago. During the begining of the cold war. This is why you see nothing buy old model american cars in Cuba. Once the trading ended no more new automobiles or other finacial aid. Just now Cuba is becoming more of a Democratic government. You're idea of Socialism is a dreamworld. No country will ever truly be controlled by it's people. The closest thing you can get is Democracy.

  • this country wasnt founded on the concept of a breadline little girls!! sorry for you but you gotta get it on your own!! this video sucked by the way!!!!

  • Get your ass out and get a job with benefits. My father died jobless when I was 14...my mom became an alcoholic. I went to college and have worked for corporations where I had benefits. You could too...don't have to be elite to get this. You have been brain washed by the Democrats who do not have your best interest at hand. All they want is your vote. JFK said ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. Expecting a handout is irresponsible.

  • PREACH ON IT NOW !!! PREACH IT!!! I WENT WITHOUT FOOD WHILE I WENT TO TRADE SCHOOL!!!! this younger generation man i tell you,i refuse to raise my baby like these brain dead idiots!!

  • You were just one of the lucky ones I guess but there are 45 million people who can't find jobs because the ruling class would rather keep their investment that create jobs. We as a people must take that power from their hands. And although you didn't have to be elite to get the upper-mid class job, I'm sure the people who hired you were. They probably saw your bourgousie attitude in the interviewing process and hired you. Anuone else who was slightly liberal wouldn't get the job.

  • "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."

    John F. Kennedy

  • I believe over 100 million babies are aborted alone in just one of the top 10 Capitalist countries in the past two decades for economic greed and how many more deaths from profit wars, poverty, prostitution, denied health care and violent crime to name more instabilities! Billions of lives have been swallowed by inumane capitalist demands when you add the true figures. We must end economic fascist injustice though Marxist revolution!

  • Well said. I wish America would just wake up and realize that capitalism is screwing them.

  • Whoa. I had no idea that capitalism killed so many people.

"I'll put the system on trial."

    - The Cable Guy

  • Like one comment below, if you can't afford a surgery or treatment you can always move to europe. Oh wait let me guess, you don't want to move to Europe because there are more freedoms in the US. If America adopts socialism we will become just like them. It is strange that despite the horrors of capitalism which you describe, people still want in! the free market is what makes this the land of opportunity. If you pile so much debt on yourself that you can't afford things do not blame the America

  • You do not have the right to tell people to immigrate. Im sure there are many reasons why no one wants to move. They have the right to stay just as you do. It's hard to believe that Europe has less freedoms than we. So I ask you; is it freedom from or freedom too?: Freedom to do what you want or freedom from disease, poverty, hunger and indignity? And if you mean the immigrants who "want in" The only reason they come is because Europe and Canada are to far away. I don't blame America.

  • Comment removed

  • This would be better titled Dumb Broads R Us

  • -"We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions." --Adolf Hitler

  • and your point is?

That just because of Adolf Hitler's ideas for creating an elite race was what some people deem immoral that he was a bad economist?

  • "The banking powers are more despotic than a monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. They denounce as public enemies, all who question their methods or throw light upon their crimes. [...] corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in High Places will follow, [...], until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the Republic is destroyed."

    -Abraham Lincoln

  • Do you really think that Hitler was a socialist? Didn't his socio-political system have another name?

  • the salary gap from men to women is pretty much closed so stop bitching if your being treated like an inferior maybe it is because you are. If you can afford a surgery sometimes life sucks but you can move to Europe at any point in time if you like or maybe go to colledge and get a job. If you can't go to colledge then go for a sport you might get lucky. If Mexicans come across deserts to get here just to work some low paying labor jobs I cant imagine that this place is all that bad.

  • No Human Being is inferior. Are you a racist as well? Plenty of people go to college and end up in jobs they didn't study for- jobs that pay less. And these "Mexicans" (do you think they are inferior too?) come here because Canada and Europe are too far away. Besides the US should do the honorable thing and let all peoples who want to come here do so. The US is mostly responsible for the third world debt, which causes the poverty seen in third world countries. Which in turn causes immigration.

  • Yes...They're responsible for third world debt because we forced their governments to be useless and inefficient in providing freedom >_> That's right. I forgot that this was our fault...Not...Their fault. Though, also...People are free to come here...just not illegally. ^_^ ANDAND...no human being is INFERIOR...but we're not all equal in ability and competence or mind. So, that just means some people are realistically more capable than others. Reality is pesky ;(

  • "I forgot that this was our fault...Not...Their fault." When you say "our" what exactly do you mean?

  • Capitalism is best. i believe in benefit for the rich. i am a wealthy 29 year capitalist. i am CEO of Exxon-Mobil Oil Company.

  • When you look at your hands do you see blood?

  • So if I don't work, I don't eat? Still failing to see how this isn't capitalism with a smiley face.....

  • They are hot, but they are petty bourgeioise

  • God help us all if the women in this video ever make it into real politics.

  • But don't worry socialist lovers I have some problems with capitalism as well. Capitalism is based on the individual being able to attain as much wealth as he wants or can. Under this system it does not pay to be moral. For example, why would I be willing to tell my customers that the store down the street sells a higher quality cheaper item than the one I'm selling? Answer: I wouldn't. But on the flip side under capitalism I am free to choose to go to the store down the street if I choose.

  • The basic idea of socialism is that everyone should be handed everything (nevermind the fact that they ARE paying for it through taxation). Anyways, it doesn't make sense because if everyone is doing nothing then who is producing the things being handed to them? Also, if I am one of the people producing in a socialist society why would I work when I can get all the same benefits when I don't work?

  • because in a real socialist society you wouldn't receive the benifits if you didn't work. Its not a free candy show kid

  • So then a real socialist society is capitalist, as you have to work to attain success? You are confusing.

  • no kid, its not capitalist at all. Others would not subjucate people for their labor. Everyone would be working together, in seperate communites united. You would report your income to the state, or commitee depdning what the people wanted. If you worked you get your benifits, if you didn't then you wouldn't. Its not state capitalist either. One works for another to support. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. Educate yourself

  • Capitalism is our only moral system. All other systems take advantage of man's rights and liberties.

    --Ayn Rand

  • socialism is a great idea for a government but the thing is it doesn't work, when a leader gets too much power he/she will abuse it. when everyone gets an equal share there is no competition and nobody strives to work hard.

  • they will strive to work hard if they got something out of the deal more pay, health benifets

  • and you say it dosnt work, will it seems china is doing pretty good for its self

  • lol have you ever been to china? don't tell me you have because if you had you would know how poor, dirty, and hard life is there. my cousin got mugged twice in one day, saw rats the size of cats, and got to see people shit in the street for lack of a better accomodation. china's government is corrupt and pure socialism doesn't work. a socialistic democracy like sweden can work but not communism like china. or russia for that matter.

  • so they are like new york, but they are makeing lots of money that is what I ment about doing good for them selfs and yes a socialistic democracy would work that is what I am fighting for

  • no i have been to new york and never once saw a guy shit in the street. i have also never been mugged (of course it does happen probably the same rate in both places). when you look at the size of china and it's population of course your going to see exponential growth and money going in and out but when you compare the actual figures with the number of people the average is below the poverty line. if your for a socialist democracy then why go and mention china and have a page of communist vids

  • I mentioned china becouse they use to be socialists, and I have videos of communist becouse communism, socialism and socialist democracy, arint that diffrent yes they have diffrences but they all strive for more equality its just some countrys like china have lost there way, and the people wont do anything about it

  • it hasn't lost it's way pure communism just doesn't work

  • but it did work at the start but know china is becoming a capitalist agian and it fucked every thing up

  • lol yeah mao ze dong was a swell guy who wasn't after power at all and did everything to benefit his people (sarcasm just so you know) wait you just said that china was doing well due to socialism and now your saying it's doing bad because of capitalism. thats a little contradicting!

  • yea I got the lol, and yea I am like that some time, will china was doning good under socialism but the us is turning them into a capitalist

  • well i do agree that we are turning them capitalist since that's what we do. our culture just tends to spread like a cancer, soon there will be fatties worldwide (sorry crappy joke) but anyway yeah i guess i can see your point because our system has so much flippin red tape you can't get anything done. however there are pros to a free market also.

  • yea that was a crappy joke but so true, and yea I guess there are some good thinks about it

  • Don't use China as an example. Use Cuba.

  • try earning something....you might like it and want more. commies.

  • Long live the Socialist Party USA!

    Trotskism for ever!

  • Terrible video. But props to these chicks. Good work comrades!

  • i bet that chick stole that trolley

  • You want free medical care eh? then go to med school and become a doctor. then go work for free. its that simple. then convince everyone else to do it. when they're done laughing you you can realize that you are an idiot.

  • The best way to compare capitalism and socialism.

"Capitalism is the unequal distribution of blessings, socialism is the equal distribution of misery." -Winston Churchill.

  • omg! that is a good fucking saying, i prefer capitalism :)

  • Thomas Jefferson:

A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.

  • That's why America is not a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

And as free people, the free exchange of goods and/or services is the only path for us. Hence Capitalism is what we choose.

  • who is "we" exactly?

  • You want free school its called public education and community college. Those schools are bad thank to government control and no competition. Also there are tons of government grant programs for school, student loans and work for the money! Most states schools are bellow 6000$ a year. Also you could learn a trade instead of college.

Does a farmer in the west grow food for someone in New York or for money?

Government gets money, capitalist work.for money.

  • I don't have the password to sign in and THIS WAS MADE FOR SCHOOL. IT IS NOT SERIOUS. PEOPLE STOP POSTING RUDE THINGS.

  • After making this video, did the American gov't intern these women in camps or something? The user who posted this video hasn't signed in for two years.

Geez, doesn't the American gov't have any morals? Is it still not spending any money on Basic Moral Education manuals ?

  • There's no such thing as a free lunch. Always reject it.

  • Its only pity, that any significant political change like that, is unattainable trough 'fair' parlamentarian elections.

  • Seeing poor kids bellow, I can see that when they finally 'enter' Socialism, its going to be school-time all over again.

  • "socialism, it's your decision."

    WRONG!

socialism implies that the government would make all the decisions.

  • How's your new socialised banking system working out braniac? Oh, and could you explain to us all why every scandanavian social democratic country in Europe has a higher standard of living than the good ol USA. Better education, healthcare and a higher quality of life. Of course your media would never report that because they prefer people like you spouting off ridiculous retarded nonsense that keeps the whole Capitalist bullshit debt ridden lifestyle afloat. Read something for once simian oaf.

  • cretter explain how all your European socialized nations are losing great ideas like the computer industry and suffering form stagflation. Also explain your at minimum 10% unemployment (yes the 10% that suffer worse conditions) so you can live richer.

Also explain why the middle class grows out of control in completely free-market societies like Hong Kong and America from 1840 to 1912.

  • You should be deported with the rest of the third world garbage spewing your crap on youtube. You should be ashamed for even breathing American air on American soil. You traitors! If socialism and communism is so good for you, get the F#&( out of America, and go live in one of the many communist $h!tholes available to you! LOOSERS. We are a free society, that doesn't mean a free meal or free healthcare for your illegitimate kids and your anchor babies, you stupid welfare mothers!

  • Very good! I am glad to see this.

The top 5 to 10% of the wealthiest in this nation need to bed forced to pay not just 90% of all taxes but 100 % of all taxes.

Thank GOD the country is unraveling before our eyes so that we are able to install leaders that will enact social engineering in order to more fairly distrubute assets to those that need them the most.

Everyone must work and pay in order to contribute, those that do not work must be disiplined.

    Julia

  • Socialism or barbarism! The choice is ours!

  • "Let the people sing"

  • The bull dike at 0:43 makes me LOL.

  • You fucking socialists make me sick! Do you think that your mole "Obama" will win the day for you? I've got news for you commie motherfuckers, those secret prisons that the conspiracy theorists have been bitching about are REAL! Do you want to know who they are for?

  • Obama isn't a socialist dumbass. Luckily however, Latin America is standing up to American imperialism and implementing successful socialist policies and grassroot democracy. One day it will reach the US and the working-classes of New York, Boston, LA and so on. :)

  • "Obama isn't a socialist dumbass."

What do you call universal health care then?

  • Social democracy: ideology long accepted by European parties (far more successful than libertarianism). Just out of curiosity, btw, what do you call military spending? Does this also fall under "socialist"?

  • "Social democracy: ideology long accepted by European parties (far more successful than libertarianism)."

    Example?

"Just out of curiosity, btw, what do you call military spending? Does this also fall under "socialist"?"

It's not socialist to pay people to work for the military, because the government has to compete with the market, and so on. Socialists would force people to work in the military for low pay.

  • Example: just about every Western European country. After WW2 and the adaption of Keynesian economics, we saw a great rise in standards of living. When Thatcher implemented libertarian policies in the '80s we saw a reversal of this - mass unemployment, for example. The government has to compete with the market? I thought that the government was supposed to stay of of that? And no, socialists would not force people to work at all; certainly not for low pay.

  • (cont) Actually, we push for higher pay and the distribution of wealth to those who actually make it (i.e. the working class).

  • UGH. I can't stand feminists. If they even new a minutia of history they'd know woman has next to zero rights under socialist regimes. These know-nothings make me puke. And their vote cancels mine AHHHHHHHHAAAAAAA

  • Women had equal rights in socialism especially in the USSR. They had female soldiers and cosmonauts LONG before the USA decided to allow women to do those things.

  • Is that an argument for socialism? Okay so it killed 100 million people, and destroyed any hope of prosperity..... but at least they were nice to woman!!!!

  • You where trying to brainwash us by lying that "woman has next to zero rights under socialist regimes" so Warhawkwv replyed accurately. Too many justical murders is the other point. True communist movement promote: anti-racism, anti-sexism, anti-homophobia and (with defined logical exclusions) anti-religious hate. We only not promote "freedom of owning means of production", because this "freedom" go against other freedoms and build an ugly hierarchical society.

  • To TimeWarp66 (cont2):

But "socialist regimes" (I think you mean pseudo-socialist dictatures by this phrase) are not true communist or true socialist so their society is not so close to classless and time to time there could be discrimination by the race, gender, sex. orientation, ... In capitalism this discrimination is not only "error of capitalism" it is capitalist basic instrument to divide working class to smaller group and to blame social problems to that groups.

  • To TimeWarp66 (cont3)

Typical example of racism in capitalism/feudalism is the massive antisemitism in Tzarist Russia. Tzarist regime had very big economical problems - people were very angry - Tzar told them "that's because of Judes" - and some narrow minded people believed him. Fortunately not all and finaly Lenin made a revolution and antisemitism was banned. Unfortunately after his dead Stalin acquired power... but that is other story.

  • To TimeWarp66 (cont4):

Other example - look how much tightly is "right-wingism" correlated with racism, sexism and homophobia. Every right-winger have a problem to tell to working class why they do not earn honest sallary - there must be some "demonic enemy". Demonic enemy who cause financial misery, divorce family, ... Ethnical minorities are most useful to play this role...

  • They are voting age now. I hope they learned something since this video.

  • We can only hope!

  • haha. We already have socialism, it's more like communism now. All we've had for the past 100 years or so in America is big government controlling the economy. Affirmative action, minimum wage, all the regulations, etc. These hurt people. Everyone. The free market works best. Socialism is terrible and causes all sorts of problems. Socialism is the opposite of freedom.

  • (cont)

Have you noticed how messed up our economy is and how things are crashing now? You think that's the free market. You think the great depression was caused by the free market? Was FDR your hero? Governments created and escalated most of our problems we've had throughout history and people think the solution is more government. wow. Really sad.

  • "Governments created and escalated most of our problems we've had throughout history"

Ha! Why do you think the US economy became so powerful? Because of government investment. America as "land of the free market" is a myth.

  • Kafka: haha. So you give government the credit for our successes and powerful economy? You really don't know history. The government isn't employers or employees. Car manufacturers or bankers or oil companies, businesses, corporations, marketers, economists. And also, we had a very free market back in 1776. And basically all the way till the late 1800s.

  • (cont)

And you'll might notice in that time period our government was very very small. Not perfect, but it was small. And our economy was very free. And almost immediately we became the world power. Then, comes the late 1800s. Things fall a little, but not too much, then they get worse once wilson passes the Fed. 13 years after the creation of the BIG GOVERNMENT department we have the greatest depression in the history of the world.

  • (cont2) and so you'll notice throughout history, contrary to your mistaken beliefs, when government steps in we fall, when they stay out, we thrive. And we have huge government now! And look at us! We're not doing so hot. Just thought I'd let you konw whats going on in the real world. :)

  • (cont3) We keep on making the same mistakes. It's a vicious cycle. We have a problem, usually started by government, and we panic, we call on government, they try to fix things and make them worse, and then we want more government and we get more problems. We haven't learned history. It's going to take a lot to wake people up sadly.

  • There is logic in what you say, but it's the kind of logic that gets people hurt.

Do you think that every poor person with a brilliant idea, who works incredibly hard and is determined as hell reachs the top? No.

A huge amount of potential is lost through the unfairness of a system where agressive, already rich business step in so that they can lead in their market. The reason for government failure is usually a lack of morals and the fact that they live in a bubble where only votes matter.

  • I'm getting the idea you don't know how the economy works. First of all, the whole point of starting a business or working hard is to make money, either to get by, live comfortably or be rich. The top 5% or so pay 90% of the taxes! So we should punished those that have succeeded? So lets hurt the rich to help the poor and then the poor get rich, and we hurt them and we help the poor, then they get rich, we hurt them and then help the poor, and it's cycle. lol It makes no sense and doesn't work.

  • (cont)

The reason it doesn't work? BECAUSE IT'S GOVERNMENT! Government was meant to have a simple tiny job. They were meant to have only a tiny bit of power. They handle criminals/justice and the military and that's about it. The people aren't idiots, we don't need government to handle things for us, lead us around like blind sheep or do things for us. We're not idiots.

  • (cont2)

We're made up for 300,000,000 people and you think a couple thousand people that make up the government are smarter then all of us? lol. Wow. That's sad. The government isn't an oil company, economist, marketer, employee, employer, businessman, car company, scientist, farmer, etc. So why do we trust them to handle everything? There's commercials playing right now saying stuff like "GIVE US CLEAN ENERGY IN TEN YEARS" "SAVE US FROM HIGH FUEL PRICES"
