We have used these for a couple of years and they work great. Much easier than the drill. No handles, batteries, etc to worry about. Just shoot and throw away.
Nicely done! With the expectation that an IO will be done for adult patients (as well as peds), this is quicker and safer to use than a manual IO, and MUCH less expensive than the drill!
